Cheers Robbie 💯🔥
That was a really good video of a ripper upgrade, looks easy to do.What a bargain mate.🇦🇺👍👍👍 I love my new cup/usb console from your store 👍👍Thanks
Thanks Steve I appreciate it 😊💯 definitely not a hard thing to do! Glad you're enjoying it 😊
Thatbwas one of your best 🙃
Thanks
Thanks mate I appreciate it 😊💯
Really well explained. Onya guys
@@noelmclean936 thanks mate much appreciated 🙌🏼
Awesome video I have been looking at doing this to my NT LWB, but was worried about traction control kicking in.
Video coming soon to see how everything behaves 💯 the locker is there for the hard slow stuff so slipping will be minimal for the rear as it's locked... should be front only. With more momentum things turn tc off 💯
Great video. I’m hoping to do the same to my 2011 RX.
Highly recommended 💯👍🏻
Great vid, the factory rear diff locker in my 2013 NW GLXR was a key purchasing decision.
Can't wait to properly test it 😜😍
Have you used the diff lock much? Love my Pajero, but it can struggle in really steep, rutted, soft stuff. Wondering if the RDL would help with that.
So cool
Thanks mate 😜
Going to be really interesting to see how the rear diff lock copes with the traction control in the rear - hopefully the diff won't be fighting against braked wheels! Holding thumbs as I want to do this to my 2008 lwb!
Good question. When a genuine rear diff lock is engaged, the traction control is disabled.
Tested and it's fine 💯 wheels turn together so doesn't trigger it as spinning. Only when one wheel stops and other spins
@@allanpower8041 check reply above 🙂
@@budget4x4life Yeah thats what I thought it would do - but if both rear tires spin up quickly as if they've lost traction, over loose gravel, sand or rocks for example, I think the traction would still kick in. But you've got that fancy loom that disables traction entirely so you should be fine!
@peterstevey I am doing a video soon so we will see how it works and behaves in what modes. The locker will also be on just for slow crawling so slipping will be minimal. For more momentum stuff I'll rather have the tc off. But we'll see what happens 😊😜
😉😁 one Day . Now I know what I'm in for 😮 . Thanks 👋 😂
Haha no worries have fun 😜💯
Ja Meneer, dit is befok. Baie lekker boet
Net so 😄💯
Wow i can't wait to watch this. Luckily mine came with one but this will help when I chuck one in the front!
Yess can't wait to see what difference it makes 😍
Hi, gogod job.. did you was able to connect to the dashboard ligth? there is the central diff and the read diff lock light when are active
Hey mate it is not installed via the ECU so no lights will come up only on the switch 🙂💯
Hi, are the drive shafts different to a diff with locker from one without it? Thanks..(I’m from Brazil and I found one diff with locker here and want to install in my pajero, ours Pajeros here don’t came with lockers)
Hey mate yes the driveshafts are different I believe. That's what the sales team told me anyway...
Hi, what is that intercooler doing behind the air box side? Is it a secondary egr gas cooler or a heater core? It doesn’t look stock, could you explain it ?
Stock egr cooler mate 🙂
Would you consider making a video about upgrading a car microphone? :) mine is absolutely terrible
Haha maybe in the future as I actually need one 🤣
Hi, is there any chance of uploading a wiring diagram of how you wired it. I'm assuming you had a relay?
Great demonstration thanks!
Cheers Col
Hey matey. Everything I did is shown in the video 🙂 no relay just a fuse en switch to air compressor 😊💯
The wiring part in the video was a bit...rushed. Any way you can explain in detail how the wiring for pump was done? Just finished swaping both my diffs out for 4.9 with rear locker and I just need help with wiring as well. Thanks in advanced. love the vids!
@javierjimenez644 hey mate yeah we wanted to get it done 😄
Wiring goes from pump to battery and then to the switch in cab. Compressor has a positive and negative wire. Very easy to do. What did you get the 4.9 out of with locker? And what size tyres do you have🙌🏼💯
@@budget4x4life Thanks I think I can figure it out from here now! The 4.9 came out of a Gen 3 with low km, The only issue I came across was the driveshaft bolt pattern was slightly different (Gen 3 4 bolt pattern and Gen 4 6 bolt pattern) in my new diff, so I just popped the shafts off the old diff and fitted it to the new diff so no problem. I am running Falken Wildpeaks 285/70/17s
@javierjimenez644 nice mate! They are very tall gears, the Pajero will now get up and go without a lag. Let me know when you fixed the tailshaft issue and how the car runs afterwards. Should be able to make an adapter plate in metal for it if the holes don't line up.
Hypothetically, this could lock the rear diff in 2wd for proper burnouts right?
Locked anytime you want 🤫😉
did u consider to put at least some filter to compressor input? i think there will be some nasty-dusty environment for sure)
Yep has one on 💯
Has anyone made or done a wiring mod so that the factory setup locker can become an anytime locker? It only working in low range is annoying sometimes
Working on it 💯🙌🏼
Make sure you route the compressor inlet hose to a height above your max wading depth otherwise it could suck in water if you have the difflock engaged whilst doing a river crossing
Yep will do so cheers mate. Still deciding where I wanna run it. 🙂💯
are they factory lsd or single spin
Open diff 🙈
@@budget4x4life so if i decide to use factory diff lock i have to change the cv shaft and get the pump
@@iphone-uz8vc correct
@@budget4x4life was your one open diff before u got lock diff
@@iphone-uz8vc yep 😃
Ты молодец, но почему не убрал в салон компрессор?
Because from standard they are down there. Shorter distance in lines means locker engages quicker too 🙂
