It SHOULDN'T be our responsibility, and yes, you're absolutely right. It's incredibly fu€ked up, however... if we want to see that piece of luggage again, it's best to be vigilant and hide an airtag in the lining.

I mean think about it TSA earns 30K starting and maximum is 50K after 5 years. My whole point is if you actually paid the people who take care of valuables and check ins and security then maybe they would try harder to protect valuables.

We recently had this happen on our way from Chicago to Las Vegas. Our luggage arrived at Las Vegas earlier than we did (I don’t know why), and at first we thought it had been delayed or lost as it wasn’t on the belt with other luggage. We were about to go to claims when we saw our lone suitcase, sitting alone at the head of the turnstiles in the middle of the aisle, with a lone sign with the flight number. Anyone could have claimed it; it wasn’t being watched over, and if memory serves, it would have been free sailing out the door. After watching this video, I’m feeling lucky that our belongings didn’t end up in the same place as this unfortunate woman’s did. I like the idea of the air tag, and will get some for our next trip.

My luggage got lost in a flight with frontier airlines because it got delayed and everyone’s luggage was loaded in the wrong airplane and they even lost tracking of it. Thankfully I put an AirTag in my luggage and I was able to track it and I found that my luggage ended up in Phoenix instead of Orlando. It eventually went back to Orlando. We have to deal with expensive tickets. Long flights , cancellation and crowded airports. Now we need to deal we tracking our luggage so it doesn't leave the airport without you. Really? 😡😡

People paying luggage items and for some reason the airline is not responsible for a refund for loosing the bag. We paid them to deliver. At this point just ship items via ups or usps to your location

thats why whenever i travel i dont bring expensive stuff unless its completely necessary but good job with the airtag that was smart. think how impossible it would be to find your stuff without that airtag. jeez

I love how they say "houseless" as if it sounds better and isn't the exact same thing as saying "homeless". They really think they did something by changing it up like that.

@jackchop1576 pretty soon they will need to phrase it as "person first" and it will be "person without a home".
