That just needs to be connected to a large battery, carriable ones can easily last a whole day even for a big and powerful fan. Those type of batteries have normal wall plugs so compatibility is no issue. Car battery might work but im not a mechanic so maybe not. To my understanding your car doesnt start without it but otherwise it just sits there. If i recall correctly its designed to give a large amount of electricity for a small duration when a fan would obviously need a small amount for a long duration so there might be a compatibility issue.

Fire trucks have been equipped with small fans about the size of your hand attached to the inside roof of the cab for decades. why not use the same thing in delivery trucks if they want to be cheap asses and make their drivers suffer the heat with no ac.

Its a lie about A/C being ineffective because of frequent stops. I am a CDL yard jockey that makes very frequent stops to get out of the cab. A/C Works just fine in keeping me cool. Allot of the air does escape when you open and get out of the door, but not all of it. And the A/C gets the cab cooled down extremely fast. The company just doesnt want to pay for putting A/C in all the trucks and deal with the maintance.
The family that helped the guy who fell off the bridge need some recognition, Wow, they were on the job quick, i hope they met each other after and i hope if i ever need help there's a lovely, caring family like them nearby.
The man who had his head crushed is very lucky in that he not only survived but recovered so well that it’s hard to see the injuries. The surgeons did an amazing job!
The one with the UPS worker was very triggering to watch as I had a friend die from dehydration and heart attack after working for USPS in Texas heat, without air condition in their trucks. He did all the proper protocol for trying to "stay cool" while out delivering. I never knew up til that moment that 80% of these service vehicles for postal service, UPS and a few other companies aren't equipped with a/c. He was only 31 when he died.
Him telling his wife “I understand if you leave me” was heartbreaking, only for her to turn around and say “I’m here till the end” broke me again but in a good way

I knew a guy some time ago who lost both legs in a work accident that he described as watching his own legs get mauled by a machine from the boots up. A coworker stopped the machine about halfway up his thighs. He was conscious for the whole thing.

in 1993 i was a 10 year old boy enjoying a day bike riding en a lady passing two trucks on a hwy lost control hit me at 110 mph hitting smack head on throwing me over her car and half mile down the road into a ditch i landed. my back right calf was gone my right arm bones were sticking out my skin on my skull peeled back hip was sticking out my right side all my ribs where broken right punctured lung tail bone broken and some other minor injuries i was in a coma for 3 months drs said to my parents that i would wake up brain dead well im here after 3 months i woke up with no brain damage but for 4 years had to go in over and over for surgeries on leg arm and skull but i no its was the lord watching over each time that saved me and he was with these people as well .

I will say, as someone who does Amazon Flex. (Deliver packages with my own car) when it's hot (I live in Charlotte) sometimes the a.c. is ineffective. There's been times I have been like him and my a.c. Will be blasting. The constant in and out. I almost threw up once. But that doesn't excuse them not having something in play.
