That was an OUTSTANDING Chessie consist weathering towards the end of the video. Never seen anything like and so realistic! WOW! Your weathering really captures the essence of late '70s early '80s railroading.
Howdy Steve! Nicely done sir! I love the welded rail car setup. Very unique - don't see many of them out there! Excited that you kept the bridges. Can't wait to see how that scene's transformation turns out. Thanks for the update 🤠
Thank you! I really appreciate the compliment on the music at the end! That is actually the ending of a song I have been working on writing this year as a bit of a side hobby. Hopefully I will have the beginning of the song added to the intro parts of my videos here in the near future.
hi steve !!! great stuff as usual !!! like you, i have several sd-38's and just love them. seems like a lot of modelers don't use them much... maybe its just me !!! the rail transport cars are nice and the white spillage on your chessie 2 bay hoppers looks great. my next project is an outdoor maintenance facility at wabtech near erie, pa... i believe it is closer to the hamlet/village of north east, pa... anyway, there will be tons of kitbashing going on and i hope to have her done by the time football starts ( yeah, right !!! i am worse than you when it comes to having too many projects going on at the same time !!!). i saw it in one of matty gunns videos on youtube. be good steve and keep us informed on the layout !!! denny
@@gregginter5867 yes, greg, the 38's ARE real nice !!! i kitbashed a 38 using a p2k chassis, which is a real good puller, to an older athearn shell and painted it for the cp !!! one of my favorite engines of all time !!! keep 'em running, greg !!! denny
Hi CR Steve, just a thought about your road river project under the bridge when I visualized the scene was having the river/creek cross under the road maybe as a sweeping curve towards the back of the scene. Maybe someone fishing under the road bridge. Just a thought. Have fun creating!

Nice update Steve. I also liked the closing scene along with the music selection. Really upbeat!

Great stuff 👍👍, will be looking forward to seeing the next 🤠
Thank you!
With the way that lift car is warped CMR should get into printing elderly gondolas. Cool job on the rail train though!
The worst part of how warped that car is that I didn't even notice when building, painting, and decalling it that it was that warped lol Thank you!
I do miss Conrail. It's the railroad, like the SP, that should have survived.
It's really a shame all of the mega mergers happened in the mid to late 90's. So many neat railroads all slowly disappeared into the big 4.
Excellent update 👍👍 !!
Thank you!

I like that idea alot! Ill have to draw out everything on the foam to see how it would fit but I really think that may be the way to go. Thank you!
Love to see the repedo GP 38-2
waiting for my new atlas n scale GP 20 s & HH N&W SD45 ( CR G:P 20 )
If I get one of the Rapido GP38's I'll be sure to do a video on it!
Awesome 👍
Thank you!
How about a canal with a tow path or old road bed along side it as a bike trail.
Thats defiantly a possibility! I'll have to see what would look right once the scene comes together more.
What if you put a low head damn in the river to blend in the back drop.
Thats a good idea! I will defiantly look into that as a start to get things going more with that scene.
