I'm getting ready to build a bar with bowling alley lane material . My question is do I need to use plywood under top to support top besides the frame of the base? I was told the way the tops are made that they need good support under them. I am planning a 30 or 32" deep by 8' top with 7' base.
I also have a 77" long piece of bowling alley flooring. I'm going to make a matching sofa table/bar/counter for the family room, so when the L-shaped sectional sofa is full, several more people can sit at the bar behind the sofa. Great for watching sports with a lot of people.
