Thank you for this. We have a 4’ x 6’ ish piece of bowling alley from the San Diego Naval Base- installed in the 30’s and removed in the 60’s. Some of the joints are starting to separate and I was looking for advice to secure and stabilize it before putting it in its’ permanent spot. I’m impressed with you moving it yourself- ours is really heavy too!

Are the holes on the C channel oversized to allow for wood expansion and contraction? Or is that not a concern due to the grain direction and epoxy?
