As a metalhead I thought this was very funny. Bill Bailey and RW, comedy legends. Apparently BB won "strictly" this year. We're fucked! ua-cam.com/video/98xNx87hRbU/v-deo.html
This is honestly the first time I've watched ANYTHING with Robin Williams in, since his passing! (April 2022). It's just been too sad! I decided to watch this, as I've been watching a few Bill Bailey videos. Glad I did though.....it was fantastic. Two of my all time favourite people 💕 (RIP Robin.....we miss you so much 🌹)
I just caught this little moment when Robin sings the line "nobody really knows" (around 1:52 ) and really belt it, where Bill Bailey turns to look at fucking Robin Williams singing his heart out next to him on the Royal Variety Show with just this look of wonder in his eyes and if that aint a mood I don't know what is.
A comedian that is known world wide and another comedian that is not that well known around the world singing together. That literally must have been magic
This is why the British Royals will endure. Can you Imagine Putin or Trump allowing these two or any like them, into the theater so much as on the stage. To laugh at oneself is a mark of greatness.
You should read the biography on Robin by Dave Itzkoff. It really gave me closure to the how and why Robin took such drastic action. Basically, he thought nothing he did in the later years would ever be good enough, and he couldn't live with the thought of letting anyone down, even though nothing could have been furthur from the truth. He should never have done that last Night at the Museum movie. I believe that was the clincher in his decision.
I never noticed before, but Robin almost runs away with the currency thing near the end and Bill has to stop himself laughing as he reins it in and closes it out
Thank you Jimmy, forngiving these guys a chance to shine after everyone said for a decade they were garbage. Here they are, showing y'all metal is alive and thriving

RIP Robin Williams, one of the greatest comedians of all time, who suffered a progressive brain deterioration disease and sadly, in 2014, took his own life.
He inserted two lines that he had come up with during the rehearsal period, but he didn't tell Bill, so you can see Bill trying to contain the his laughter because this was the first time he heard it, too.
