    You playing the solo from I Believe In a Thing Called Love caught my attention. Also, you playing the Holy Roller riff in Drop C sounds very funny.

    I remember when I first got into VSTs and amp sims a few years back, the one combo I really wanted to try was a purple nightmare and a revv generator
    Your tones are absolutely sick! I really hope they add it to the amp hub

      @@KeyanHoushmandLive I'm definitely glad you played what you played. 🤣🥰 I'm a metalcore player but love modern/prog/djent stuff. My goal is to be myself setup to where I can play metalcore style and prog together and have a sick tone that's balanced for both.
      Keyan by far has the closest tone to what I'm trying to pull off. So much respect 🙌 just wish i didn't have just a schecter omen 6 elite with trash frets. 🙄 getting them replaced this week. Guy swears he can turn my crap neck into a shredder. We'll see. So goals.. better guitar, better pups, then see about getting those tones because I've tried with even my emg 81/85's in my Epiphone Ex/Gx series guitar and no dice copying settings people show on youtube for either guitars. 😢 considering buying a Andy James or other Kiesel guitar, or finding a misha guitar like keyan has but ugh the $$$$ lol..

    Buddy could you help me on something? Im about to buy some STL plugins they are 40% off right now but I can’t decide between this new one Lasse or Andy James tonality… both sounds great to me but I also think about the reverb and delay quality cuz I like to play ambience like worship and so, the Lasse effects sound a bit better for me than Andy James effects, any advice? Thank u mate 🙌🏻

    So not only 3 amps, but ALL of the features/channels on the amp. And the auto gain and a/b mixer for the cabs? Neural had better be paying attention. Their sound engine is better but they stopped innovating immediately. NDSP needs these features immediately

    ".. and then the cab that I always use in every single plugin video that I ever do .." - which is also the reason why every single plugin video sounds exactly the same. Fluff has this problem with his videos too. He has the same cabinet IRs in everything he does so everything he plays sounds the same.
    I'm not trying to be a mean commenter here but just pointing it out. Your videos and and playing are great but using the same cab IR in everything makes everything sound exactly the same.

    • @geirisk8
      @geirisk8 3 роки тому +4

      With that said, I'm glad you did explore the tones further and that makes your videos a lot better than some of the bigger channels :)

      @@DerSilvano that's not the point though. You aren't highlighting the capabilities if you're shoe horning everything to fit the same tone.
      The problem with doing this is eventually people are going to be like "oh look, another review... Gonna sound like the other 8 plugin reviews no need to check it out". Gotta diversify you're portfolio as it is.

      Back in the day (yes, I’ve been playing guitar for 40 years) everyone sought out their own individual guitar tone. You had no problem picking out who was playing the guitar both stylistically and tonal wise. Now it’s become acceptable to emulate a particular guitarists tone with no regard for their own individual voice in the music community. Don’t fear I’m not hating on Kenyan. I’m subscribed because he’s a entertaining player and presents his material in a clear and logical manor. To your point that all these different UA-camrs sound the same in all of their own videos is correct. For awhile there everything Ola did sounded the same too. My suggestion would be to dial in a tone then do short auditions with several different cab sims so people could hear a variety. Like, “that amp sim sounds like this with these IR’s” not just one. I find that different the different sounds I get from different amp sims and different IR’s inspires me to play different metal riffs. Using the same one or two puts you in a rut of playing similar kinds of riffs all the time. The tone that is right for you shouldn’t be the one that’s right for me. Hell we have so many choices these days the flavor of the song should dictate our tone for it. After all, the song is the most important part of music. Not the guitar. No matter what Yngwie says. \m/

      I actually mis-phrased what I meant to say. In every plugin review APART from this one, I use the in-house IRs, you can definitely go back and check. For personal use though, I use my own IR, which I also used for this video. That was just a quick snapshot, the majority of this video was meant to highlight the different presets available!

      @@billsimpson1085 All these guys will always sound the same anyway. It's just this anemic way of how they do Metal or what they think Metal is. Tuning down by default no matter if it makes sense or not doesn't help either. Nobody cares about real tone either, it's all just brawn and "wall of sound" with them.
