Ola off topic a bit, but i just received my solar S 1.6 blue matte. It's my first solar and i just wanted to congratulate you on a GREAT product. I compared it to my Mayones Duvell master build which shares the same specs and its really freaking close man. That's a 3300 euro guitar! Thank you for making true quality instruments at 1000 euros. No more from the big "I" company. you've got a lifetime customer from me. As demand gets even bigger, PLEASE don't ever turn into the other companies and keep it real like you are now. You're the man!!!
Yea I agree, but to be honest even nameless and toneforge get the job done very well. I'm just awed by the new s burl matte guitar. I was honestly hesitant at first to buy a solar because of Indonesia. My ibanez 7 premium's qc was a disaster so I was sceptical. I honestly cant put this solar down. I'm thinking about getting the green one with the evertune now. The neck is absolutely gorgeous to the hand and when you strike a chord the whole guitar resonates. Beautiful acoustic tone which is always a good sign of quality. Extremely impressed. Just wished the other models had the locking tuners and stainless steel frets as well.
I've been using this plugin for years now and - although I tried out some other VSTs - this was the only one to stay: It's tight like hell, sensationally sounding and effortlessly rips through every mix! .....and - like the demo vid says - "it moves air" and "the low end is beauuuuuutiful!" 👍
Nothing compares to STL the best sounded VST like amp In fact they sounded better than what I could ever get on my real amp . Even there free plugin sounded better than my purchased VSTs
Keep the plug-ins coming. I can't get enough of them, they're cheap if not free, many of them sound great, and the IMMEDIATE re-amping possibilities in the studio post-recording are just so convenient.
I can’t agree with you more on this plugin. Wow!! The first few seconds into watching this I knew this plugin is a must get. I’m always looking for that perfect tone. And like you said, you don’t have to tweak the tone to your liking. You just start playing and everything sounds so damn good. I like that and I’m going to have to buy this now. I could even tell by your face you were in the “zone” when you were playing. Every tone was musically useful. Thanks for sharing.
The introductory price is only $89!!? For what this plugin delivers it’s a steal!! I’ve never fallen for plugins like this before I saw your videos and channel, but you’re great at demonstrating them in the ways I would use them. You’re awesome!
Got my pre-sale download today and it is worth the $129 but getting it for $89 and two days early!! This one and Fortin Nameless is all you need. Great cleans and lead tones with the STL, and both for great rhythm tones.
I actually really like the fact that this keeps it stripped and simple, and doesn't really lean too heavily on "this is a Mesa!", etc... I get option paralysis all the time when getting tones....
Thanks, Ola-- great demo, this plug in sounds great. I appreciate your comments on how this tool promotes creativity and provides awesome sounds without a lot of tweaking...- sometimes we just wanna rock and record when inspiration strikes!
It is easy to see if producers fall in love with the plugins. Since it is a computer program, the result will be exactly the same in every studio there is. The only varying things will be the monitor speakers and the control room. Also the musician can finally set up the sound that is in the head and return to it easily.
@@onsesejoo2605 A different musician (even guitar) makes all the difference despite of the amp. I am a producer and consistency or flatness is not what makes a gear usefull. We love non linearities
Hey Ola. I've been fan a fan of your channel for what seems like a long time. Years. Anyways, I always forget to leave a thumbs up or even comment, so I just want to take this opportunity to say how much I appreciate the content you release. Your sense of humor is on point. Also, you are a BAD-ASS-MOTHERF***ING GUITARIST and don't sell yourself short. And finally, I cannot wait for the day I can own one of your guitars, especially if you come out with more 7 string models and more so, get some 8 string+ action going on. Keep up the good work my brutha!!
Oh hell the gallop is awesome! And yes, we all do it and love it. I'm sure there are a few exceptions but hey, a nice palm muted gallop is always pleasant.
Probably the most honest plugin noise and responce wise. Lows are very tight and accurate. And of course I'm a huge fan of Bogners. Could be a bit cheaper thugh..
And here's to how to crash a website in a few hours! That speaks volume about the product ('s potential, I mean that in the best way possible)quality and review by Ola!
its great to see you now! i have been watching your videos since you use iphone headphones for monitors! you deserve it, you are doing a great job man, i love your music, killer riff and you are a very funny guy. sorry for my english if its something wrong. ✌
Just got a new Peavey 6505 MH and it sounds Killer with the tube screamer in the front and the full bore metal pedal in the fx loop. Still waiting for my mooer 009 to come in mail yet.
These plugins are getting better and better man, that's crazy. Now I'm here wondering if I'm good with my good ol' Bias FX, or if I should try either this one or Misha Mansoor's plugin from JST. Decisions, decisions... Great video mate btw, straight to the point.
These plugin manufacturers, I'm assuming have operating system apps, so you don't necessarily have to open up the Daw. The one thing I want to see is these plugins take advantage of Kiosk mode in windows enterprise edition (which should be allowed in other versions, do it Microsoft) so you could have the PC boot straight into the app if you want to. We need these Plugins to be more like a actual piece of gear if you want it to be.
Thanks for the demo Ola. How none of these new plugin producers figured out to to add multiband compression, especially in the high mids, is really beyond me. Probably every single one could become some 50% better sounding (and 100% less fatiguing) by that trick alone.
Hi Ola....I hesitate the first time cause i hade so many plugins but all was euh...... far from the top...But this plugin changed my live and your Swedish metal preset is awesome....My music know a new beginning.... I'm fucking (bip... to late) lol...... happy ...Thanks for all you do for music...thanks for your videos and for what you are... Big up from France and take care of you in these trouble times........
im a pianist/keybaordist…but i sometimes play guitar on my keys…so i bought myself profesional plugins like bias fx 2…guitar rig pro 5 nad amplitube 4….im geting this STL tonality next…hehehe
I just went from VST plugins for tube - preamp sim to using real tubes. I feel that simulating the living sound of tubes takes to much processing to get it all the way natural, tried every free tube sim vst out there. But I agree your plugin suite do sound nice no question. Perhaps the more expensive latest-technology plugins do the job good now. I settled on using real tube preamp and overdrive into the sound card and then into a impulse response plugin with my favorite impulse file, this is how I got my sound and feel, real tubes have their own feel.
Ola... if it works great... I say.. plug away. STL stuff is awesome. I plan tone purchase said plugins for my little studio. Both the Benson and Putney. They really hit a home run on these.
Id be interested if they added a 6th button for amp selection that said custom and let you import your own amps into there plugin. I like lots of other plugins and would just like to import into the same plugin interface would make things simpler.
Yeah man, the reason I haven't bought it yet. 130$ for a plugin just based on youtube demos (no offense to Ola but he can make anything sound like this in the final video) is too much and doesn't really give any proper surface to reflect if it is worth it compared to the other ones available.
I have to admit that I bought it and it is awesome. Highly recommended. Anyways they should let you demo for a couple of days to decide if it is worth for you.
@@Nico-em2zr They have a full future 30 day demo. You ned iLock account, you can get that free. And you dont need the usb thing for iLock, just download the license manager for iLock, and your good to go. Actually, not sure if you need iLock on the trial.

Great review Ola, would you please review free vst amp and cab simulation like those of LePou Amp Sims?
