I like how ending walker clearly is testing things, using this as an opportunity to learn the aki matchup and the comments are like "washed lol washed hihi" Like dude... Losing in a practice match doesn't mean washed. Its good that he is trying shit.
@@heroe1486 yeah but ew his ladder placement is not even bad. Legend outside of Japan is impressive regardless. The japanese playerbase is farming each other. Essentially, mr is a gauss curve for each region, the larger the playerbase, the higher and lower the outer ends.
I think Broski already had quite mastery of AKI. It's just that she is sooo good now. Bison arriving the 26th and Ed probably receiving buffs at the same time is very promising for their team indeed.
I believe that most likely EndingWalker and/or Problem X will eventually win Capcom Cup, Evo and any other mayor in SF6 if they continue to be training partners.
I main Jamie but I've already decided to pick up Aki when I climb a bit more with Jamie, Broski being the actual sole reason. Makes this character look so so sick.
I've been an Aki main since she released, used to main Manon. She was fun before, but her new buffs make her a blast to play, I recommend giving her a try
I wanted to try AKI because she's actually deranged, but I'm still keeping to my main 3 I had since their reveal trailers/beta (Dee Jay, Jamie, Marisa)
@@adk5980 I'll probably go back to Manon for a while once I feel like my Aki gameplay is solid enough. I haven't given up on her just yet ;) but yeah she'll be a secondary character at best
Even though Aki has been out for a while now it just dawned on me that i don't quite know what type of fighting game character/archetype i'd categorize her as. She's not exactly a zoner or a rushdown character. She's obviously not a grappler. The closest thing i can think of is like a mid-range neutral/poke character but even that doesn't seem accurate. I'd love to hear how you all would categorize her or define/describe her gameplan and or playstyle.
meh the whole archetype shtick barely matters most of the time, it's just a thing content creators made sound a lot more important than it actually is because it makes for a good video lol. Like Guile and Sim are zoners, but their match-ups are nothing alike, same with something like Manon and Gief, just labeling a random term to a character doesn't really give you a good idea of what the character does. If you twisted my arm tho I'd say Aki is an unorthodox setplay character, even in the neutral she's trying to set some situation that allows her to get in and do more setplay.
She is setplay heavy, with excellent pokes (st mp is almost broken imo), huge damage. I'm surprised they didn't nerf her damage output. Probably next year though.
I feel like archetypes get blurrier in games that are this layered, with many universal mechanics and complex/well rounded move lists. Of course some characters are just hard-coded in their archetype but most of them have some wiggle room to play more aggressive or keepaway
Played against Problem X the other day, he was playing Rashid. Made me realise how little i knew about the matchup. Next thing i knew i was in the lab for the next 3 hours.😂
@Togutas it was more about the situation surrounding the hit confirm, I get how it's done and the frame data surrounding it! I do appreciate you trying to make sure I'm not impressed that he confirmed off a random hit in neutral off 1/3 of a second reaction, gotta keep me in check
Nope. Ed is not that good, even more so since the last balance patch. Every character below him got significantly buffed while the universal mechanic change hurt his damage output a lot. While not being trash, no character in 6 is, Ed is imo in the lower tier this time.
Ed is so boring, the only more boring character in the game is Lily, she is just dumb, Ed only cool moves are his supers, even the 1,2,3 SFV Ed was cooler than this. Falke is 10 times cooler character than Ed, I just don't understand Capcom at times.
