@@thevp_ssb. I once saw someone play it in an Ashaya to bounce his Avenger of Zendikar and it blow my mind, but I don't play mono green so I don't know how good or bad could it be in general
@@Wabiman70 it still provides decent utility, but even Guildless Commons is arguably better, as even though it is strictly two colorless mana, it at least isn't as strict with it's bounce requirement.
When you copy a permanent that is copying a different permanent, it will take on the characteristics of the originally copied permanent, so Jamin would have continued to make more aurochs with Glasspool Mimic instead of copying Toffels commander. Another note is that if you somehow manage to get a clone on the battlefield without it copying something else, any permanent that enters as a copy of that clone, will just be a 0/0, the Clone's replacement effect will not take place.
I'm not convinced on the cloning a clone ruling there. A clone's copy effect is a replacement effect and a replacement effect can cause an unrelated replacement to apply to an event it wouldn't have (or cause a replacement effect. The rulings for Clone on the gatherer specifically state that "as [this creature] enters the battlefield" and "[this creature] enters the battlefield with" abilities still work which are also replacement effects, so there's no reason that you couldn't say clone a blank Quicksilver Gargantuan and then copy what you actually want but as a 7/7 this time.

As he activated the Deck of Many Things in response of the Howling Mine trigger, there was no way (I think) to pay the black Miracle card with the Braids mana, because there was none yet. And Thoralf wouldn't have been able to cast Fervent Mastery. - If you clone a clone, the new clone will become what the clone on board cloned. In this case, Jamin cloned an Altered Ego with an Glasspool Mimic, the Mimic clones whatever Altered Ego cloned before (the Auroch, if I am not mistaken)
@The Phorgotten One you should really avoid using the word "cheat" in cases like this as it really looks like you are accusing someone of being devious to get an advantage. There's only one thing to say about this game: "All creatures in nature must live together in balance. But I can't help cheering for the little turtles!"
19:24 When Carl floats the mana from the forest to play Sol Ring, doesn't that mean his forest is no longer untapped, and the Jungle Basin has to be sacrificed?
Would love to see more commander content from Cardmarket, I don't follow most format's so most of the gameplay just doesn't catch my eye but I'm always down to see some EDH.

This is just so much healthier and is a blast to watch. Massive fan of both sets of collaborators. MTG Remy's parody of 'The way' is one of my most listened to tunes at the moment.
Jamin cheated at 9:10 when he played his Myriad Landscape untapped when it ETBs tapped. This meant that he should not have been able to crack it at the end of Remy's turn at 12:31. Carl cheated at 19:25. Jungle Basin requires an untapped Forest to be returned to his hand, but he tapped his only Forest in response to the ETB trigger, so Jungle Basin should have sacrificed itself since there were no legal Forests to bounce.
19:20 Carl did an illegal move by floating the forest for mana. Jungle Basin specifies that the forest must be untapped. It's a strictly worse bounce land than normal bounce lands (but it's mono-color playable I guess.) He tapped that into a sol ring into a 4 drop. He should have just played the Sol Ring and not played the other card.
You are correct! I assumed it was just like every other bounce land but worse (because of colorless) and skimmed over the text, I did not realize it was that horrible 😅

Nice Remy you Goat it!!😂 Very fun game.
This was a lot of fun to watch and looked like it was a lot of fun to make!
@@CardmarketMagic Someday I'm going to blow up on my main channel, this is an alt account where I never make content, and I'm going to beg you guys to let me play a match on camera. Be ready for it, someday.
@@DerickTheHeroV2 if your channel ever gets big enough for us to justify flying you out for content to our bosses, then we would love to have you over!
Such an awesome idea and video. I hope to see more like this in the future from you guys. I definitely want to try this with my playgroups 😁
Bro the goats came out of know where lol!!!! Also, you guys should do more commander gameplay. It is so much fun to watch you guys play together.
Jamin: holds up sublime epiphany.
Also jamin: doesn't counter toralfs spells
