CBS cancelled the show because they weren't willing to pay the salary increases and also because they had enough shows for syndication.
I figured that it had something to do with money 💰, that was the same thing with friends and big bang theory but friends and big bang got bigger and bigger raises until they got greedy and wanted more,in both of those shows,the casts got millions per episode,those were funny shows but the money that they were getting was crazy,Mike and molly was a very funny show and CBS should have given the cast the raise,they deserved it,I was sad when it ended 😔.

Mike and Molly remind me of the history of the 1970s sitcom the Odd Couple. When the Odd Couple was originally aired the ratings were terrible yet when it went into syndication it became one of the most popular sitcoms in history. Mike and Molly is similar--the original ratings weren't tremendous but in syndication, it is incredibly popular
