Star Child Exactly! It was the ensemble that gave this show so much life! Without them it probably wouldn't have gone beyond a few years. Vince, Molly's mom, Victoria, Samuel, Carl, Grandma and later the nerdy guy with the glasses...they were the real stars of the show. I didn't know how Reno Wilson would do with a sitcom since he'd been in mostly movies but he nailed it here! Having Molly lose it at the beginning of Season 4 and dealing with that the entire season and into the next was a horrible decision! However the Series Finale was great and made everything right. For the most part it's one of the best multi cam sitcoms of the last 15 years!
Yep, me too! Watching reruns now... this show was fantastic. Never get tired of watching. While some sitcoms get stupid corny, this never did. Every episode was perfect, all the way to finale.

Nana is such a wonderful character played by an incredible talented actress. She speaks her mind, loves with a big heart, strict as can be, I see only a sassy, loving woman, who happens to be a grandmother, a church going Christian but admits she's human, Brother Heywood her weakness. A lovable woman.

God I love Nana! She reminds me of a lady who was one of my grandmother's close friends when I was growing up. If my granny was busy Miss Clara would step in! My grandmother was one of probably two or three white women to ever attend services at least once or twice a month at the A.M.E. church Miss Clara went to. And man when they had a singing it was on!
