This is the fourth video in a series that was created to help people who have been scammed, and who are having a hard time getting over it. Healing from being scammed is difficult and many people beat themselves up for a long time afterwards.
If you are telling yourself that you are stupid and feeling a lot of shame, you are NOT alone. These are the most common and most difficult parts of the psychological recovery after you have been scammed.
In these videos, which are based on my book (linked below), you will find coping strategies and ways to find healing for yourself.

Another warning, everyone. Please be cautious about anyone commenting here and claiming to be able to recover money for you. No one can do that except law enforcement, the courts, etc. Money recovery is a second attempt at scamming people who were already scammed once. There are a huge number of links that will pop up on Google for you and other pages too, and I've had a number of people add comments here and on the other videos. I went online scamm sponsored by legal guardian. I authorize these people too look where my money went and they found it on dark market. Than they demended that I pay them $600 if I want my 1037 EUR back in bitcoin currency. I check around it turns out they were scammers too. I had to block them on my phone cause they were keep calling me and I made a mistake because I give them my ID picture. I will not pay them.

I lost money and my pride in a romance scam. Shame is huge and sadness because you really believed you met your other half God I hate that people can be so cruel! Listening to these videos helps to know I am not alone or the only one this has happened to!
I am glad you found my videos and that they were helpful to you. A scam is a horrible experience, and when it is a romance scam, there is a huge amount of betrayal that happens too! Yes! I am glad I can come to your channel. It’s safe here you won’t judge me. Sadly I can’t share this with my children . They are too judgmental and won’t have empathy or compassion or grace for me . They will most likely make fun and share with other family members how stupid I was to be scammed. So I keep to myself and cry alone. I ‘ve learned a lesson not to trust Anyone on FB Or social media ever again.
This is such a horrible situation to be in, and what you said about not being able to get support from others really resonates for me, I hear it from most of the scam victims I talk to. That is one of the main reasons I created these videos - people get overwhelmed with the shame, they isolate themselves, and there's no one to talk to about it. If you haven't already, it may be helpful to pursue a support group with AARP, Give an Hour, or Cybercrime Support Network. You'll find others who experienced a scam, too, and group facilitators who get it. All my best, Cathy

I got scammed I feel so stupid, I can't sleep and eat I feel so guilty I don't know what to do I feel so down and i don't no how to express my feeling 😢 I feel so shame of my self
