Agree with your essentials and have used them all but the gas generator and privacy tent. One you didn’t mention that I found invaluable is a fan. I never thought it would help so much cooling me off but it really does!

Hi there! Thanks for watching, and oh my goodness no sleeping deep enough impacted me for nearly two months before I was back to my normal self. Blessings to you! 🚘🦋
I'd recommend getting the dc 12v working for the solar gen recharge during driving. Also my Jackery charges in a couple of hrs if I'm setting in a spot for hrs on solar. I also have a second solar gen, not a Jackery, another name brand that went on major sale, that I bought solar cables and adapters to charge the second from my panels, the setup works really good. Also I got solar extension cables so my car is in the shade while my panels are in the sun. In the winter hand warmers are good, but a small electric heater (100 watts) connected to a digital plant thermostat controller, will turn on and off the heater during the night, in the morning I have 61% left with a setting of 60 degrees at night, plus I boil water for a water bottle, put it in my sleeping bag and my feet at toasty warm. Your count (and loss of count, lol) of items were great plus your reason was a great personal touch. If you need info on how I do the above all while living in a 2009 Prius, let me know. Stay safe out there.
Hi Brian, thanks for watching and for your helpful comment! It sounds like you have the power items down and they are really working for you. How cool that you're doing it all in your Prius! Do you travel all over, or are you based somewhere specific?
@@autumnandchloe Hi Autumn, I'm mostly along the east coast, recently lost my mom. Now I have to take care of her affairs and deal with the loss. My Prius and I have travelled lots and since it's a hybrid, power is generated. I looked into a van but until fuel prices drop or I can convert a van to a hybrid, my 51mpg Prius is home. Take care and stay safe.
Hi Brian, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. That's a big loss. I totally hear you on the Prius, between the excellent gas mileage and the climate control, I think a Prius is the best car for this lifestyle. Blessings to you as you work through the affairs and best wishes on your travels!

Autumn - how do you manage the medical side of life with the nomad lifestyle? Specifically, things like an annual medical or checkup, any needed prescriptions (regular or occasional), any possible illness onsets (infection, pneumonia, etc).
Hi Steve, thanks for watching and great question! In all my travels I have a homebase I return to for this kind of life stuff. I have a primary care provider I work with for annual medical checks. I've been fortunate enough that I haven't needed a regular prescription while on the road. If that came up, I'd check with my providers office to see if they could either send a prescription to an out of state pharmacy (which they may not be able to do), or I'd request several months of medication up front and be sure to return to my home base every few months to get it. I've been super blessed not to have illness while in my car... I imagine if I were really sick I'd stay in nature in the woods and rest a lot, and if that was not healing enough, I'd rent a hotel room. I make sure to budget into my savings for these types of situations. I appreciate your question! 🙂
@@autumnandchloe - Thanks Autumn - this simple setup probably answers the concerns of many more folks than we make think who are tending towards their "seniorish" years and may be starting to climb the prescription ladder. Sadly, sleep apnea can creep up on anybody. All these symptoms are or can be attributed to it. I have had apnea for years before I was diagnosed and have had all or some of these symptoms, and I am definitely not confessing or saying that you do.
Hi Randy, I've heard folks share with me how tough sleep apnea has been before having the c-pap machine. Thanks for sharing your experience. Since I've been so tired, I am going to get a full check up... I'm hoping my poor sleep was due to the narrow bed, I've changed it up this week and I've slept far better the past few nights.
Thanks for watching! 🙂

Try putting a patch on the elbows and get years more out of the turtle neck!
Hi there, thanks so much! 💕
Where can you actually camp that’s not at a campground?
Hi there! Lots of national forest and BLM land to camp for free. iOverlander and freecampsites.net are great ways to find these places.
Cool!, You've done so well , ingenuity, creativity, practicality and good initiative, and you are fun and funny too!. I know what it's like to have that favourite piece of clothing that gets a hole but you don't want to give up on it cause it's your fave, I had a pair of pants once that were the coolest Camo scheme, I kept sewing patches into them under the holes but eventually gave up and they finally died , I almost felt like they required some kind of eulogy before being laid to rest in the rubbish bin. I noticed the hole in the elbow of your sweeter has a friend living on the other sleeve LoL. I know what it's like to have people pull up that you want to just go away aswell lol , fun vid Autumn ,good editing , I'm sure you could do infomercials, good luck with the bed , I know you will work something out. Cool! house and owner. Safe and happy travels, peace and serenity!.
Hi there! Lol, yes! I understand the eulogy for departed loved items. I haven't had the heart yet to throw out that turtleneck, although in my heart I know it's time to go. 🙂 Thank you for your kind and encouraging comments. Safe travels to you in the southern hemisphere!
Jackery is crap!! Returned it after first trip. All day to charge. My Ecoflow charges in an hour. Bluetti is probably the best. Everything else - right on.
Hi there, I had an opposite experience. My experience with Ecoflow has been so bad that I’d never purchase from that company again. I’ve had a great experience with Jackery, both the quality of their station as well as their customer service.
Thanks for watching! :-)
Whoa. You’re gorgeous.
Thanks for watching! :-)
Sorry but jackery Is not the Mercedes of power stations, it's more like Chevrolet. Anker is probably the Mercedes. Ecoflow is probably the Ford. Lol
I've had a great experience with Jackery. I agree about Ecoflow.
Your age
You likely are tire, hungry and hangry because you need to get more protein.
Dry shampoo.
Totally!
