Hi Dom I'm a bit of a OMP fan boy as they say. There 🚁 are my favourite to own and fly. I've also have the BIGHORN with flaps. FLYS AMAZING. This plane looks BRILLIANT also. Thanks for sharing Sir 🇬🇧✌🏼🤩👍🏼
Das Ugly Stick reloaded 😊(with a nice nose) Looks like a plane you can have fun with for a long time. But the price is kind of hefty. At the current exchange rate it would be 380,- EUR for the ARF version. You can get a Sebart Miss Wind 50E ARF for about 409,- EUR 🤨
No no no no.This plane is wrong on two fundamental points. It’s made from balsa and ply - the first time you have impact with terra firma it’s a right off. And 4s to 6s? Really? Get yourself a foam Riot - it makes way more sense.
@@Martin-b5g4m Yes, definitely. I really like my foamies but balsa/ply will always fly lighter and better. I had a hard arrival with my OMP Edge 540 yesterday. Big hit but just popped some formers. Repairable with cyano and thin ply and it will still be lighter than the same size foamie. Beginners under good tuition don't crash.

That's a good looking plane Dom. Awesome flying as always bud 👊👊👍👍

Does the Arf kit require you to set the thrust angle down and right?
No

Just proves how wrong you can be. You would have to be in the hobby a while to appreciate the balsa/ply aircraft always fly better than foamies. 🤣
@@EssentialRC I couldn’t agree more - but for this sort of model and it’s target market of beginner to intermediate flyers?
