Mr Wolf True, fnv had a better AR though. Not the water cooled 5.56 pee shooter in 4. 5.56 does not need to be air cooled! We have pepole shooting hundred round mags with air cooled barrels fine.
Jam usually refers to misfeed, where the weapon fails to execute some part of the loading/extraction process, which is not a problem for revolvers since the ammuntion is stationary within the gun. But a revolver can malfunction, which can be a number of things wrong with the weapon.
one of my favorite things about fallout 3 over fallout 4. everything is grey. there is no color it actually feels like a apocalypse. not blue and red buildings everywhere
Fallout 4 takes the ever present dark humor and juxtaposition of seemingly utopian pre-war life and the war torn wasteland and brings it to the game world, as well. And speaking from a realistic standpoint, not all pre war buildings were made of solely concrete and rebar, like the 3 and NV seem to think. The colorful designs and implements of pseudo-1950s America wouldn't just disappear.
Fallout 3's DC was a gothic, twisted, mangled city with cold greys, blues, and greens as it's palette. Fallout 4's Downtown Boston was a rusted, falling apart scrapheap of muted reds, blues, and yellows.
I agree the first time played fallout 4 I felt like a bad copy and the story wasn't really compelling as 3's or new Vegas' too But don't get me wrong there were plenty of great moments in the game however.
"Uh, sir? The Lone Wanderer is shooting a lot of rounds at the Washington Memorial. What should we do?" "He turned on the purifier and good down the Enclave. Just leave him be."
I love the spread system on Fallout 3 and New Vegas as it is based on the characters animations, you can see when he hipfires that the character arms keep moving left and right, thus creating spread, you dont see mechanics like these in too many games these days.
When you play New Vegas your guns can jam at full condition it just doesn't happen as often so that is something different. I know this because it happens A lot if you keep your gun at full condition
See, I never realized these were supposed to be weapon malfunctions, I always just thought the character decided to tinker with their weapon when reloading sometimes.
One thing I don’t like about fallout 3 is the fact that your character holds your damn weapon like it’s the very first time they have ever held a weapon, even after playing through the story they still do this.
I have to agree with you there. FO4’s weapon roster seemed very lackluster compared to 3/NV. The “assault rifle” isnt even an assault rifle but rather an LMG, the 10mm and 9mm SMGs were absent for some odd reason, and the combat rifle and shotgun share the same models and animations, which was kinda lazy IMO. More importantly there just wasn’t as many guns in 4 compared to 3/NV. They likely did this because of the immense customization system where you can slap on any attachment to any gun, but still it would’ve been nice to have way more. There weren’t enough wacky weapons to find.
3:04 let me just dislocate my wrist real quick some of this jam animations just look like inspect animations. like 0:48 for example. but thats just my gametime in KF2 talking. *smashing r to pistol finger spin inteinfies *
Using centrifugal force to insert the cylinder of a revolver back into its frame is murder on the rotating mechanism, as well as the frame and cylinder themselves. Not only will the cylinder fall out of alignment and force the user to manually insert it back into place, but eventually the accumulated damage would cause errors in rotation and, as a result, failures in cycling shots. The frame can warp or crack over time and a misfire can potentially cause catastrophic damage to both the weapon and its user. Videogame protagonists, when you have to reload a revolver, use your free hand to insert the cylinder into the frame and rotate it into a valid firing position to ensure smooth cycles when pulling the hammer (Single-Action) or pulling the trigger (Double-Action). With practice, the process can be much faster than showing off with centrifugal force. Also, when you do reload, don't pull the hammer back and spin the cylinder like the wheel on, "The Price Is Right." That's also extremely unhealthy for a revolver.

Bullets get stuck in the cylinder
Setting it on the ground for 200 years and then trying to shoot it should do the trick
When your character has no clue how to hold a gun straight.
Solaire of Astora To be fair, they only had a Bb gun from 10 to the age of nineteen, and then they had no training with any sort of firearms.
They did however play lots of Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes in the vault.

ONI AFO Cemetary Wind Also looked different as well.
S115 Crowe The Fallout 4 minigun is crap
Nachover 9000 That maybe so. But you can use it to shred your enemies if you have added a modification to it.
