In fallout 3 you need dart gun and some other guns. Fallout 4 death claws are hard unless you are playing on difficulty for pussies which is anything below survival.
Fallout 4 feels more like a remnant of that futuristic 50s like era the world's supposed to be a remnant of if you get what I mean. @Emmanuel Papadakis So the radiation being gone made paint reappear on everything? Fallout 4's more colorful design is just a design choice with no real logic behind it. 3 stayed way closer to the originals in art style.
@Emmanuel Papadakis It appears to me that most of Fallout 4's color comes from the bright paint, I know of course that the diverse environments come into play.
I hate Fallout 4 armor. I feel like I can never take my time in it because it requires fusion cores, so I end up never wearing it at all. It feels clunky and cumbersome to be in, and makes the pip boy interface way worse as well. And you can't sleep in it, requiring an extra 20 seconds to get in and out just to heal yourself at base.

I have probably 87 fusion core.
Everything about Fallout 3 was dark, even all the DLCs had a dark story. But I loved the game. Fallout 4 was amazing too, but Fallout 3 is still my favorite.
The thing I love about fallout four is the power armor, in fallout 3 it just looks like a armor that you’d put on piece by piece, but in fallout 4 it actually looks like a freaking mech which I love.
Basically FO3 PA looks like a soyboy and not that impressive FO4 PA looks like a Space Marine and actually is OP, well I've never played FO4 yet people are saying that PA requires power cells to function and it drains fast which is a bummer.
+Mordecai mine was 3 when it first came out and ive played all of them, im not quiet as season as the guys who were playing in the mid 90s but ive been around awhile, im just tired of all the 12 year old fallout 4 fanboys who think this game is supposed to be a wacky first person shooter its not; fallout is a role playing/exploration game and its themes are equal measures of horror and satirical comedy my problem with fallout 4 is that it was none of that
+Aaron Rodriguez its a pretty crappy armor that barely protects u from anything so i dont see it being op in any way. It brakes pretty easy, its not as strong the the t-45 from fallout 3 so i never understood this complaint.
The ghouls and super mutants have a better design in FO3 than in FO4. Specially the ghouls with the clothes tear apart. Also, the reaver ghoul as pieces of power armor with him
@Thyre Radim Your logic isn't consistent: you're trying to argue that F4 isn't "realistic" because the ghouls look like "inbread hilbillies?" How does that make it unrealistic? An inbred hillbilly sounds pretty realistic to me, but F3's zombie-esque iterations are more realistic to you, huh? Sounds like you don't understand the meaning of "realistic." But the (in-game) reality is that ghouls suffer from severe radiation burns, and the art style of F4 captures that effect. "Cartoony" is exactly how I would describe F3.
+PastorOfMuppets False, by the time Adam Adamowicz died he had already spent a few years working on fallout 4. He still had a significant role on the games art design this time around.

Fallout 4 is just a "light" version of what the franchise used to be. Fallout 3 is darker, more trrifying and you have more immoral options to be the bad guy, even you can slave a kid!
Really now? I found the Deathclaws in Fallout 3 far more formidable and the ones in 4 were weak though that could be due to the chaotic silly leveling system in Fallout 4.
I enjoyed the monster aesthetic from fallout 3 a bit more than fallout 4. While fallout 4 had many graphical upgrades over fallout 3, it lost some of its character along the way for sure. The sentry bot in FO4 however was much better designed in terms of looks and difficulty.
Fallout 3 honestly looks better in many ways. Fallout 4 is too bright, too saturated for my taste, Fallout 3 had a much better art direction and lighting imo. The gun sunds are awful in Fallout 4 as well if you ask me, not satisfying at all.
+XSBurningKiller1 On the whole it doesn't, but some of these comparisons(like the Radscorpion) I literally couldn't tell if it was F4 or F3. The game is pretty, but not what it should have been for a AAA game in 2015.
+EvenFlow Come on, some of the images the difference is obvious, like the feral ghouls. But some images like the radscorpion both look basically the same. This is probably an issue because Bethesda has been using the same game engine since oblivion.
+DastardlyGaming FO4 is made with the same engine as Skyrim, not oblivion. Also by difference, do you mean models or graphics? It's not like the models would change from the previous games, it's still the same creature (mirelurks is an exception). And graphics are clearly better and more detailed, it's obviously not Witcher 3 graphics but that wouldn't work in a game this big.
Fallout 3s depressing dark wasteland was beautiful, and although I loved the art direction of 4 I do think the colours should have been alot more faded. But I like the diversity between them, cause they're in different states things are slightly different. As for the power armour, I love the mech suit design but miss the ease of the chucking power armour on and off quickly in 3 and NV.
@casey The graphics weren't even that bad at all, if you compare them to fallout 4 they're actually almost the same because bethesda is lazy and doesn't actually feel like improving anything, it seems better because of the lighting and godrays and such. Plus it doesn't feel like a wasteland in fallout 4
@casey Are you talking about fallout 3 or 4? Because I'm saying fallout 3 was dark and grim where as fallout 4 was just bad because the lighting and atmosphere didn't feel like a fallout game
@casey Damn dude i see you haven't played fallout 3, it was 10× worse in that game, for example you could find a school ran by raiders with a bunch of child skeletons in a cage with dried blood everywhere. Also the raider decorations were much more brutal, you had headless bodies handing from hooked chains, decapitated bodies on matresses, pikes with heads on them, etc. Plus super mutants were just as brutal and looked scarier. You can also nuke a town if you want that has men women and children in it. Trust me when i say fallout 3 was much more disturbing.
@casey Trust me man, there were much worse places in fallout 3. The pit dlc was a prime example. You go to pitsburg which is now a raider settlement with slaves everywhere, there is also a disease going around that turns people basically into mindless zombies that walk like animals. You pose as a slave in order to get to the boss of the raiders named asher who is using his baby child as a cure, there is an option where you can eat the baby if you have the cannibal perk. Plus like i said its a raider settlement so its pretty graphic and dark. Point lookout was also a graphic dlc but more a horror game. The disciples from nuka world were pretty alike with the fallout 3 raiders but the fallout 3 raiders were still more brutal, if you go to the super duper mart at the beginning of the game in fallout 3 you'll see just a little bit of what I'm saying, though there a way worse places than that
@Grym Thats is true. But it still is a great experience, unlike some hardcore people might want you to think. Its just that I've seen a lot of people that write down Fallout 4 completely and exagerate the bad of the game. I only recently got to play fallout 4 cuz of pc upgrade, and its not that bad. But i do admit its not perfect, far from it.
Elijah Slavin cazadores were a pain in the ass I'm just trying to past through red mountain but nope bam oversized moths??/butterflies?? had to get in the way and kill me

+TheLWebb100 oh hell yes, I just got out of fo4 and while I was playing I went into the medical center and I saw an assultron coming at me and I immediately left the building lol
I like Fallout 3 for the dark, hopeless setting and *some monsters*. I like Fallout 4 for the beautiful graphics, and most monsters, like the mirelurks and deathclaws for example are alot scarier looking. (Fallout 4 deathclaws are scary, but I find them very cute)
+Templar Assassin Well, probably. They screwed up the Advanced Power Armor nomenclature pretty badly. There is a MKII that looks just like the basic model in Fallout 2, and then there is the (possibly) MKII that they had in Fallout 3, and then MKII is just an upgrade to the basic model in fallout 4, so who knows any more.
lacrosse-maniac 2 Well, probably. In Fallout 3 the armor was just called "Advanced Power armor" and one brotherhood guy calls it the MKII, which was confusing because that was already a thing in Fallout 2. Fallout 4 makes it a bit more like FO:2 by making the "MK" apply to the same armor but with better stats. Calling the enclave advanced armors the X series is from Fallout 4, but if the "Black Devil" armor were the X-02, that would make the most sense. And if that's true, I can't wait to see some X-03 hellfire armor in the inevitable DLC.
Yeah, I was pretty suprised they nonchalantly broke the lore with the T-60 and overhauled the power armor system but left out half the armors from Fallout 3.
Idk why but when I first encountered ghouls in fallout 4 I was scared as fuck because they moved so fucking fast, and the way they looked just scared me more than the fallout 3 ghouls for some reason.
Donald Trumpet I think so too. The ghouls in Fallout 3 looks scarier to me, but since they just run straight up you, I say the Fallout 4 ghouls are scarier since they are unpredictable. Also, your profile name. Lol
Yall kidding me the F03 ferals literally gave me nightmares and for like the first 2 play throughs i had i wouldnt even go into a sewer where there were ferals without doing a 180 high steppin right back out and then i would get the shakes
Finally. Someone else who agrees. Yes, above all else... Fallout 3 was 10 times scarier than Fallout 4, made me crap my pants to be honest. Fallout 3 was the one who left me emotional throughout the whole gameplay. Fallout 4 never disappointed me, it has excellent graphics and I love the weapon customization. But I still believe Fallout 3 was the best throughout the Fallout series. Then here comes New Vegas fan boys trying to interrupt me, no gtfo.
Neon Xeno I also liked fo3 Mirelurk design more I really couldn't choose which ugh is my favorite I'm replaying fallout 3 and new Vegas I mean there all equal good they all have there drawbacks
+Mladen Kenway No, the game looked awful for 2008. Just look at 2004 games like Far Cry, Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 and then compare them to Fallout 3... And for complete overkill just compare Fallout 3 (2008) with Crysis (2007). As for armor in FO3 power armor was more like a heavy armor and not a proper power armor...
+PzKpfw VI Tiger ausf. H1 actually, Far Cry looks worse than Fallout 3 - textures wise, polygons wise, almost everything-wise. Mind you, I played Far Cry when it came out and was absolutely blown away by how good the water and the jungle areas looked. But it takes advantage of the fact that you almost never see any soldiers up close like you do in Fallout 3, and humans are the hardest thing to do well. Doom 3 was one of the pioneers for real-time lighting effects and normal maps, but it doesn't hold up against Fallout 3' graphics either
I have a very unpopular opinion: for me the fo3 looks beautiful. I really love the graphics in this game. Fo4 it's too colorful, polished and soft looking
Well it depends, obviously the F3 is lifeless because the textures are worse, more repetitive, less real. And living in a non real world is creepier than living in a real one. When graphics are improved, it is intended to make them more real, and that makes the Fallout world more familiar with the player. That's why you think the 'atmosphere' was better on F3
FO3 ghouls looked more like iradiated humans their bones on their flesh like that and their eyes in 3 had no pupils. In 4 they have green glowing eyes for some reason and look like a homeless person with that rag on.
i am gonna name what i thought better in fallout 3. ghoul deathclaw yao guai and almost all weapons, even tough he compares things wrong! .32 pistol compared to 44, and t60 compared to t45d.
not gonna lie fallout 3 looks so much better because of how simple and uncartoony everything is. unpopular opinion: i actually liked the overall depressing darkness in fallout 3.
@@joeldelacl4206 Actually the effects of nuclear radiation can last anywhere from a few days to hundreds of years. Also if what you're saying is true then Fallout 4 shouldn't have the Glowing Sea, and also there should be lush plant life in Fallout 4. Even if it was true that radiation always only last a few years, the thing you're forgetting is that this is science *fiction*
The Deathclaws look better in 4 but I find the Yao Guais look more damaged and evil and overall much darker in fallout 3 I think it just comes down to everyone's opinion
After playing FO4 nonstop this past week, FO3 looks weird as hell... Hard to believe I have around 800 hours of that game behind me and everything just looks... Out of place.
+Kludgy Lynx It just shows you how amazing the story and atmosphere of Fallout 3 can make you overlook all of the drawbacks the game had (like awful animations and unresponsive weapons).
+Adam Jones well.. it didn't for me... NV was the first one I seriously got into, 3 had cool concepts and I respected that, which is why I got NV, and loved it... now 4, and can't stop playing!
+Adam Jones I love FO3, don't get me wrong, but I don't think it's that, at least for me. It's just the graphics and textures you get so used to while playing, it doesn't feel or look wrong. Then you go and play FO4, which just looks so smooth, with that lightning, those shadows, textures. Just looking at this comparison video, you see how FO3 looks green and grey, and FO4 looks so much more colorful and smooth. It's ugly and painful to look at FO3's power armor, because it looks like a goddamn pajamas, compared to the massive POWER ARMOR from FO4.
And make them so u can walk underwater like fallout 4 did, easily swimming like an athlete while wearing a movement restricting heavy armor is just borderline immersion breaking.
MagesticMango no, I kinda feel the same way, when I look at new Vegas i think "Do I want to use light in shinning darkness, Maria, lucky, pew pew, mysterious magnum or vance's 9mm?.......fuck it, anti-material rifle with high-ex!" Or whatever was your favourite gun in new Vegas that committed genocide for you, in 4? "Legendary Lever action, legendary fat man that fires never ending lock-on mirv's, Kellogg's revolver or whatever gun I don't give a fuck.......deliverer." 'POP' 'POP! Fifty Deathclaw's fall to the floor in a bloody puddle. It's just boring unfortunately, in new Vegas I felt spoiled for choice or in a certain situation that needed something useful, sneaking required certain weapons and equipment and the same with a deathclaw attack, in 4 it's just pick a gun it doesn't matter. I always felt on edge, with nothing but a couple of stimpacks and five more explosive rounds for my AMR, surrounded by whatever FUCKING horrifying creature that was out there that could kill me in seconds, in 4 it's just go to the cheat room and take all 60 million stimpacks and all the 10mm ammo in the world and I'd be fine.
i miss the dark, bleak look Fallout 3 had. It had a very depressing look, the look of hopelessness. I love F4 don't get me wrong but a blue sky and the sun shinning doesn't exactly scream "Post Apocalypse".
Like George Miller once said, if you do a post apocalyptic film/game you've got two options for color teal and orange, that's what they did for 3 and and nv
@Mary Darkblood Gael To be fair, it wasn't that great a game. I only finished it because I kept seeing people hype earlier games so I started from the beginning again and actually finished it. Fawkes was awesome, Liberty Prime was boss, brotherhood were neat, most everything else tho was bland
@Shakanaka Well yeah. 3 was written much worse, with terrible art and poor dumb gameplay. 4 was none of those things. I actually wanted to explore the world in 4 and get to know my companions. I cannot imagine how anyone thinks 3 is an improvement to 4. Now compared to new vegas I don't know as I've never played it. But 3 base game was a slog I doubt I'll subject myself to again whereas I have played 4 again.
One of the things I disliked most about Fallout 4, and New Vegas for that matter, was the lack of Chinese Assault Rifle. Something about running around with an AK-47 shooting ghouls and monsters was so awesome. Finally got it with a mod but please Bethesda, bring it back when you guys make Fallout 5.
Great comparison video, thank you. While there can be no denying that Fallout 4 is far superior with regards to overall graphical fidelity, and a better, more detailed aesthetic and feel - I can't help but look at Fallout 4's models and think that there is something.. off-putting about them. They look too rubbery, plasticy, etc. They look like they are clay models, like they're unfinished, unrefined. They don't look as believable as Fallout 3's models. Now, again, we're comparing apples to starfruit here and what I mean by that is one needs to keep context and time in mind as factors, but Fallout 3's models felt right. By this point they are quite clearly graphically inferior, but they still feel less jarring, they feel more believable than the models in Fallout 4. For me, the only exceptions here are 4K-updated power armor textures (through modding) - which in my opinion feel far superior to the power armor of fallout 3, and the Deathclaws. Deathclaws are my absolute favorite Fallout creature, and they look absolutely beautiful in Fallout 4. Terrifyingly majestic, impressive creatures. Everything else just looks like it's made out of clay and plastic. The game models look like toys to me. Anyway, that's the end of my rant. I am curious though, does anyone else feel the same way? Do you disagree? I'm genuinely curious how other people think.
Fallout 4 looks graphically superior to fallout 3, I found fallout 3 to be a much more easier game to master. I felt overwhelmed at times while playing fallout 4. I didn't feel like I could do whatever I wanted without doing the main quests. In fallout 3 made me feel like I had a lot of freedom and could jump far out into the wasteland without going straight into the main story. But that doesn't stop me from saying good things about fallout 4. Vats was very cheap in fallout 3 and you could pretty much get through the entire game with it. In fallout 4, it wasn't way too crazy like fallout 3 but fallout 4 had a lot of variety. TD:LR - Fallout 4 has a lot of variety and fallout 3 was much more easier than the new game.

@Thyre Radim
Your logic isn't consistent: you're trying to argue that F4 isn't "realistic" because the ghouls look like "inbread hilbillies?" How does that make it unrealistic? An inbred hillbilly sounds pretty realistic to me, but F3's zombie-esque iterations are more realistic to you, huh? Sounds like you don't understand the meaning of "realistic." But the (in-game) reality is that ghouls suffer from severe radiation burns, and the art style of F4 captures that effect. "Cartoony" is exactly how I would describe F3.

yeah like when feral ghouls would kinda shutter in fo 3, that was kinda unsettling.
Fallout 3 honestly looks better in many ways. Fallout 4 is too bright, too saturated for my taste, Fallout 3 had a much better art direction and lighting imo. The gun sunds are awful in Fallout 4 as well if you ask me, not satisfying at all.
Fallout 4 looks too plastic
And people say Fallout 4 looks just like Fallout 3..
+XSBurningKiller1 Yeah, they are blind I guess... F4 is so much more prettier... I especially like how the mirelurks look now, much much better.
+XSBurningKiller1 On the whole it doesn't, but some of these comparisons(like the Radscorpion) I literally couldn't tell if it was F4 or F3.
The game is pretty, but not what it should have been for a AAA game in 2015.
+DastardlyGaming You might need glasses if you couldn't tell the difference.
The disciples from nuka world were pretty alike with the fallout 3 raiders but the fallout 3 raiders were still more brutal, if you go to the super duper mart at the beginning of the game in fallout 3 you'll see just a little bit of what I'm saying, though there a way worse places than that
@casey now yes the graphics look bad but back then they were good.
I still hate the assault rifle look in FO4

+Cicero Octavian It's in new vegas also
in new vegas also its
yeah power armor mk 2 is just mid west brother hoods power armor
Fawkes is still 9492749 times cooler than Strong
+Berlingot the one and only true hero, as he steps into a chamber full of radiation to save mankind.
+659dude only when you have the dlc
Haha soo true. I had the GOTY the first time I finished the game so I had none of that bullshit.
+Berlingot So true Fawkes found the Milk of Human kindness before Strong
yep
I like Fallout 3 for the dark, hopeless setting and *some monsters*. I like Fallout 4 for the beautiful graphics, and most monsters, like the mirelurks and deathclaws for example are alot scarier looking. (Fallout 4 deathclaws are scary, but I find them very cute)
Specially the fact that they arent considered a threat
Beautiful is a stretch in my opinion. The game still looks kind of bad.
Fo4 deathclaws are really cute def agree
Fallout 4 power armor is thicc
Wait hold on, did you just load a fusion core into the Gattling Laser? That must be a major end game weapon.
+Blipblobit Not really. I'm level 30 and have like 40 of the damn things. Each gives 500 shots.
+Blipblobit It doesn't use the whole core. It's like 500 shots 10 loads per core (5000 lasers)
DestPlays Yeah, I actually just got it :P
+Blipblobit where?
Luis R.
I got it from a BoS soldier, sneak attacked his fusion core and blew him up.
Enclave power armour and X-01 are different models. X-01 is the same as the remnants armour in NV however
+Templar Assassin Well, probably.
+DJMouthwash That mark 2 power armor is still X-01. Therefore it's X-01 MKII while the enclave armor in fallout 3 is X-O2, being a whole new design
lacrosse-maniac 2 Well, probably.
DJMouthwash I completely forgot about the hellfire armor. That would be awesome to see it a DLC for fallout 4!
Yeah, I was pretty suprised they nonchalantly broke the lore with the T-60 and overhauled the power armor system but left out half the armors from Fallout 3.
Fallout 3 has such a more unique feel to it
CaptainRemixer no
Unless it is yes?
yup
Agreed.
I'm right with you there. 💯
Lol
Predict when they're going to rush/dodge quickly, you may be able to get a few rounds in em.
Donald Trumpet in fo4 ghouls Come for you SO slow and fucking fast attack from 20 m ya me too scare IT
you never encounter a feral ghoul reaver in FO3 then, it is a true nightmare
Yall kidding me the F03 ferals literally gave me nightmares and for like the first 2 play throughs i had i wouldnt even go into a sewer where there were ferals without doing a 180 high steppin right back out and then i would get the shakes
Apon review I believe Fallout 3 has a better background in my opinion, but Fallout 4 exceeds in graphic upgrade on armour, monsters, animals , etc.
At least SOMEONE here actually points that out. Good on ya
Actually
TacoPocalypse I didn't like fallout 4s super mutants fallout 3s were better then again I'm probably saying that because it was the first one I played
I'm impressed with how terrible the Power Armour was in Fallout 3.
its like comparing a child to a body builder
+M'aiq the Liar it's more like the cheap flat Halloween costume vs the advanced costume with muscles
I thought the Power armor in fallout 3 looked like the coolest thing ever until Fallout 4 came out.
This is why I love Fallout NV, it builds on what F3 did, and what F4 should've been
I know this is your opinion but you might wanna look up the glowing sea if you think that
@@iamsad7479 you might wana look at the entire goddam capital wasteland
Yeah wtf
Well it depends, obviously the F3 is lifeless because the textures are worse, more repetitive, less real. And living in a non real world is creepier than living in a real one.
When graphics are improved, it is intended to make them more real, and that makes the Fallout world more familiar with the player. That's why you think the 'atmosphere' was better on F3
All of the designs are an improvement, except for the feral ghoul. Fallout 3's design was creepier and a better contrast from the typical zombie.
I Agree. They looked alot more creepy in Fo3.
FO3 ghouls looked more like iradiated humans their bones on their flesh like that and their eyes in 3 had no pupils. In 4 they have green glowing eyes for some reason and look like a homeless person with that rag on.
Your Friendly Neighbor ghoul is brain rotting radioactive human not undead
and the bear
i am gonna name what i thought better in fallout 3. ghoul deathclaw yao guai and almost all weapons, even tough he compares things wrong! .32 pistol compared to 44, and t60 compared to t45d.
not gonna lie fallout 3 looks so much better because of how simple and uncartoony everything is. unpopular opinion: i actually liked the overall depressing darkness in fallout 3.
What do you mean 'unpopular opinion'? Most people like fallout 3's atmosphere. It actually feels like a nuclear wasteland.
Elite four It doesn't feel like a nuclear westland, the effects of the nuke are only for 30 years.
+JDiablo ESP
That's an error in the lore, fallout 3 is still a nuclear wasteland.
JDiablo ESP I mean if hundreds of nukes Fell in one area where nuclear dumping was already happening I'm sure it'd last longer
I know it's cooler in 4, but l miss the simplicity of wearing the full thing as one outfit.
Edit: the behemoths looked better in 3
Yeah but Deathclaws and Yao Guais are better in 4.
The Deathclaws look better in 4 but I find the Yao Guais look more damaged and evil and overall much darker in fallout 3
I think it just comes down to everyone's opinion
Vulturonix fallout 3 is just trash
@@cxvqa Both are trash.
@@cxvqa Fallout 3 isn't that bad
I remember when I found the "real" enclave armor of FO2 in New Vegas. Great stuff.
After playing FO4 nonstop this past week, FO3 looks weird as hell... Hard to believe I have around 800 hours of that game behind me and everything just looks... Out of place.
+Kludgy Lynx When I went in fallout 3 to make this video, it felt really damn weird to play, especially after putting 65 hours into fallout 4
+Adam Jones
I love FO3, don't get me wrong, but I don't think it's that, at least for me.
+Kludgy Lynx Loved Fallout 3 tbh, is quite amazing seeing the difference in graphics.
Power armor would look 10 times better in F3 if they added special character movement for it.
Exactly
@@lennyking1340 shut up
And make them so u can walk underwater like fallout 4 did, easily swimming like an athlete while wearing a movement restricting heavy armor is just borderline immersion breaking.
Yeah, power armor looks kinda awkward with regular animations
sanromanosqui Better idea: Why don’t you?
Am I the only one that feels like fallout 4 didn't have enough variety in terms of monsters and weapons?
MagesticMango no, I kinda feel the same way, when I look at new Vegas i think "Do I want to use light in shinning darkness, Maria, lucky, pew pew, mysterious magnum or vance's 9mm?.......fuck it, anti-material rifle with high-ex!" Or whatever was your favourite gun in new Vegas that committed genocide for you, in 4? "Legendary Lever action, legendary fat man that fires never ending lock-on mirv's, Kellogg's revolver or whatever gun I don't give a fuck.......deliverer."
'POP' 'POP!
I always felt on edge, with nothing but a couple of stimpacks and five more explosive rounds for my
AMR, surrounded by whatever FUCKING horrifying creature that was out there that could kill me in seconds, in 4 it's just go to the cheat room and take all 60 million stimpacks and all the 10mm ammo in the world and I'd be fine.
Theres over 100 weapons, what you´re talking about?
actually about 40 not counting legendary
MagesticMango
they forgot centuars and nightkin
I love the music that plays along eith the comparisons as well. I get shivers when Dogmeat appears. My boy is still the best pupper. Lovely video.
i miss the dark, bleak look Fallout 3 had.
Fallout 4 got that "new reality feel" back from Tactics and NV whereas Fallout 3 had that "It's the end of the world, I'm gonna cry" feeling
I prefer the new graphics myself, 3 and NV was a little too dark at times, while 4 makes the world seem like its recovering since 3, which is nice.
+Arturo Palencia 200 years after the blast, things will start to recover.
In Fo3 it's the CAPITAL wasteland, they big target for nukes, it's obviously gonna be more apocalyptic, though I agree Fo4 is a bit to bright
The exposed left hands kinda defeats the purpose of power armour on fallout 3
0:21 The virgin Fallout 3 T-51 vs the CHAD Fallout 4 T-51
Edit from a year later: I just realized how cringy this comment was
@Mary Darkblood Gael To be fair, it wasn't that great a game.
@Nihulistic99th well we can all agree on one thin Fallout 4 is 100x better than that helllhole named Fallout 75
@Nihulistic99th fallout 4 was good
0:13 on the left that is X-02
I really like deep game genres like Dark Souls and Fallout 3
Not deep but dark
@Grym this, f3 is surface level
One of the things I disliked most about Fallout 4, and New Vegas for that matter, was the lack of Chinese Assault Rifle. Something about running around with an AK-47 shooting ghouls and monsters was so awesome. Finally got it with a mod but please Bethesda, bring it back when you guys make Fallout 5.
Its in Nuka world, Its called the Handmade Rifle now
ehh i liked M-16 with a wooden stock more than crappy AK knock-off.
Wind Wind you are talking about the service rifle? isnt that just a knockoff too?
you can get a assault rifle that looks alot like an AK in the Nuka-World DLC.
Christian Fematt It is an AK, lmao
Fo4 deathclaws big monster
Fo3 deathclaws terrifying demons spawn by Saran himself
Damn you Saran, you have caused me too many nightmares and heart attacks

Fallout 3: your a kid trying to find your dad
Fallout 4: Your a dad trying to find his son.
Behemoths are so much more intimidating in Fallout 3.
1.17 the farmer in the background is like "Oh a behemoth. Anyway, this tatos ain´t gonna cultivate themselves."
I'm genuinely curious how other people think.
i agree
I totally agree
Kain 4 is better in graphics for many things, but 3 is still better for story, character development, plot, voice acting, etc.
