@@sunkissedbucketlist my opinion is satay kajang can be found anywhere. No need to travel to kajang town. The late haji samuri and family spread their outlets in several places. It is simply delicious. The last time i ate, it was rm 1.06 per stick of skewer. Due to inflation, not sure now. Of course there are other satay stalls in kajang town (traditional). But to save time, you can go to the nearest satay kajang outlet.

one thing i liked with street food,it is served preety straight forward.no fancy preperation or if there is,it's only minimal.it's the flavor that makes it very unique.brutally delicious,.brutally pleasing and brutally fulfilling.and with that kind of weather,a good round of coffee will make it complete.

You are almost correct there, the satay meat is marinated in cumin, tumeric, corriander, etc..overnight. Its pronounced as Char-ku-way-ti-ow. Yea the weather has been quite inconsistant. Usually around this time, its supposed to be hot and dry season. Its not fried banana...its banana fritters. The best banana fritters you can find is at Brickfields, there's a corner stall by the roadside..usually has a very long queue. You should try. Yea sugar cane juice one of my favourite drinks apart from teh tarik.
