I was in recently in KL after my 7th visit to Malaysia coupled with my 4th visit to Indonesia. Came back to the UK just over 2 weeks ago and planning for my 8th visit next year. KL is my absolute favourite city that I have travelled to and I've been to many with Bangkok coming in as a close 2nd.
in Malaysia there are not only Malays, in Malaysia there are Chinese, Indian, Iban, Dayak, Kadazandusun and also many foreign workers such as Bangla, Indonesian, Indian who are no less.. Malaysia is truly Asia because there are too many races and religions in Asia in 1 country ..
@fishing-gardening-travelling U think low earner foreign workers don't benefit the country? They are the most important because local Malaysians are not willing to do the jobs they do. The factory workers, construction workers, plantation workers, security guards. maintaining sewerage, picking up garbage etc etc. Without them Malaysia would go back to becoming a 3rd world country. Btw I'm Malaysian born & bred. just saying
@@kopxpert I'm only saying because another person mentioned somewhere people coming over taking jobs and using facilities. That's why I mentioned I earn so much I don't need a job.

As Im seeing this video, I cant stop thinking about how great of a gift you have given to yourself by traveling around being exposed to different geographic & cultures, and most importantly that you accept, embrace and respect all the difference you see. People are fighting with each other across the globe now (in real and digital world) and I believe one of the reasons is the inability to see beyond their own surroundings as a result frm never wanting to travel to learn or to understand.
Very nice vlog! KL is cool, a hot pot of all cultures. Interestingly Malay-Chinese cuisines have preserves many old-school culinary cultures that you can barely find in China nowadays. Worth a try!

Hello, Great video guys ! Few questions: 1) Which SIM Card carrier do you recommend to buy at the airport upon arrival ? 2) Is there a SIM Card that also works in Singapore ? 3) Since I am travelling with a friend, do you suggest we take Grab at the airport in other to reach the city ? 4) How are the exchange rates at the airport in order to exchange some money ? Thank you folks for your help. Keep the great job !
Maxis or ufone for the sim They have roaming plans so you can use in Singapore Grab is the best in Malaysia IMO Never exchange money at the airport anywhere in the world unless you like to be ripped off
If you are planning to visit Melaka, dont forget to stop by the churches like St Peter, St Francis , Christ church and St Paul. Melaka also has many chapels with numerous stories but they tend to be more hidden and sometimes closed.
just telling first as most visitors skip churches in Malaysia, but the catholic churches are most beautiful in Perak, Selangor, Kl , Melaka, and Penang with some in JB and Kuching from the french missionaries and portuguese in the 18th century.
Watched too many Taz and Libby's China trip videos, so for a moment when Taz tried to pay food, I wonder if he would grab his phone to use AliPay. 🤓 Obviously without language barrier, Taz and Libby show super great social capabilities. Enjoy your time in Malaysia!
Yes. Malaysia truly asia.. all asian aspect u can find it easily in malaysia.. u can get the whole picture of asian roughly by visiting malaysia since many migrating ppl from all over asia to our country since hundreds years ago with their own tradition and culture. I am thai. I had many chinese msia friends from KL and once i was with them ( We met in New Zealand ) i realized Malaysia has a very good education system. All my friends can speak at least 3 languages fluently. Their character are the middle way between thai and singapore, Smart but still friendly , humble and good service mind. Especially, they are very clean by instinct 😮. However, i considered they were quite conservative and avoid to speak about men. They called me tiger ( thaiger ) once i talked about a guy ( he was our french housemate ) as a normal conversation. Sometimes they made me felt like i was a sexy woman who were eager to catch all the guys around 😂😂😂. Back to Thailand, i always be the most conservative woman among my society. I grew up in womanizer family and less chance to communicate or get close with men except the family members. It was interesting that my character could be interpreted into different ways according to culture. However, I love my msia friends and they made me realize how quality Malaysia is. Last but not least, Msia girls in my perception = Good & Conservative girls. While Thai girls = Bitch & Cheeky girls. Just my stereotype.
Try to go ICC Pudu Chinese food court if possible. A lot of local people go there for variety of delicious foods. Try to drink "cham peng". cham = coffee mix tea, peng = ice.
I love you guys and I love your sunny disposition and positive attitude but please Libby...can you keep the camera still. I swear I get vertigo when you take over the filming..I know you are super excited but your hands are flying and the view is everywhere..slow down honey...Taz is a bit more stable with the camera..maybe have him be the camera person and you can just be bubbly and bouncing everywhere alongside him..much love!

1. Use "Grab" rather that local taxi.
2. Use "Redbus" for cheap busses.
3. Use "Airasia" for cheap flight.
