Sensei, I feel examples in 28-1 are not following the logic of ながら。I think ながら is attached to the verb which comes after while, right? So those sentences should be like below right? 1. おもしろいばんぐみを見ながら わらっていました。(...while watching funny program.) 2. 大学で勉強しながら アラバイトをやります。(..while studying at the university.) 3. 英語をおしえながら 本を書きました。(....while teaching English.)
If you will look at the context of sentences 2 & 3 perhaps can be interchangeable depending on which you would emphasize, while in sentence number 1, we can't laugh first before watching a funny show don't we? (that's if we will focus on English sentence structure) but I really don't know which one sounds more natural for Japanese native speakers. I bet it's sensei Rose's example.
at 10:04, does the sentence not mean "would you drink coffee or something" instead of "would you like to have coffee later". "demo" means something apart from the stated noun, desho?

I'm very likely behind you in japanese studies but what about using 時 (とき)？ 眠い(ねむい)ながら運転(うんてん)する時ガムを噛んでいます。When I'm sleepy while driving, I chew gum. (I've just learned this ながら grammar - not sure it works with adjectives also). Best luck.
I'm confused by the sentence "I drank beer every night". I think it should be " I drink beer every night" and in japanese " Maiban biru wo nondeimasu". Explain me if i was wrong. 😂😂

Yes, you can make the second sentence negative. For example: テレビを見ながら、ご飯を食べません。

Not sure if you still need to know, but "drank" is past tense. Thats why it is "Maiban Biiru wo nonde imashita".
