- Here are some shots that I did rough animation and/or clean-up for.
Working on this project has been such a huge honor. I'm so glad I found my way here and was accepted to lend my skills both as an animator and a clean-up artist to help bring this project to life.

I love how the highlights went over the lineart as well. It really makes the characters feel like they're part of the setting in such a natural way. I don't know enough about compositing to know how easy or difficult it was to do the shading, but it was well worth all the effort!
Truthfully I don't know enough about comp either to fully understand what happened after us clean up people handed in those light and shadow layers but for my part it was never difficult just tedious C:

Oml thank you xD And unfortunately no, all I know is that this is a pilot and that Tracy is hoping to have more of Lackadaisy animated eventually.

So do you do the roughs over the backgrounds? Or just add in the background later?
It depends, if characters need to interact with the background, it's needed for roughs. But the reason the clean up shots have a single bright color as the background is so it's easy to spot areas that haven't been colored in yet! Makes sure we don't forget any parts

I'm in my 20's. Thank you so much!! Unfortunately Disney no longer does any 2D animating in house (they outsource it all) so they have no positions availabel for the forseeable future, but thank you!

Joosiis mones on kirkkaat eriväriset taustat siks et niiden avulla on helppo huomata jos on jääny jotai pikkusii koloja värittämättä, ne pistäis sieltä silmään heti. Meinasin vaihtaa ne kaikki tätä videoo varten kivemmiks mutta loppui vähän aika kesken kun halusin julkaista samana päivänä sen itse pilotin kanssa C:
