My favorite thing about having a lot of compost is is the ease of planting. Unfortunately it wasn't in the budget for me to add a whole lotThat's composed this yearAnd it is horrible trying to plant into my clay soil. Last year I built my entire 1500 ft² cut flower garden using no dig method / compost
Your Lisianthus look amazing! I was not so successful this season with them. I will try in January and then if I can't germinate them. I will purchase plug trays because they are perrennial for me in zone 8b!!
I can not wait to learn more about harvesting them. I would love to see a video of when you harvest and how you go about it. Also do you grow dusty miller new look? I have a few this year and I have never harvested it. I would love to see where to cut and what to expect. I think finding harvest videos is so helpful. Thanks!! Martie
They look so adorable 💕 I picked mine up at a local greenhouse this year so I don’t have the beautiful colors you’re going to have, but I’m thankful to have some. Mine were nearly 5-8” tall! i snipped them back to encourage branching. I hope to get mine in the ground this weekend!
I have literally *one* lisianthus growing from 4 seed packs, they’re so difficult for me to grow on. This is my first year gardening but still 😕 they’re so beautiful
Do you have insect pressure? Specifically earwigs. They like it dark, the landscape fabric seems like a nice place for them to live. Or at least here in Ontario Canada zone 5. Thoughts? Enjoying your channel 🙂
Are lisianthus cut and come again? How long do they bloom for? I'm debating trying my hand at starting them from seed next year, but not if they have a short bloom time. I would only be growing them as a landscape plant, and dont want to have to nurture them inside for 3 months for 2 weeks of blooms :)

Hello! The only insects that I had problems with last year were towards the end of summer on my light colored dahlias an sunflowers
Do you have an affiliate link for the butane torch?
Where did you buy your ranunculus corns and lisianthus seeds from?
Seeds from Johnny’s. Corms were mostly from the Facebook group Wholesale for The Smallscale Farmer

They should grow back to cut again, I have never had that - not sure my season is long enough
@@SunshineFlora mine probably isn't either. I'm zone 6a, but some winters a solid 5 :)
