• Nuisance created by backbenchers- Make them sit in C or U shape.
• After activity period- Don't start teaching all of a sudden. Take 2- 3 min activity to gradually evoke their interest in studying.
• Proximity method- going closer to the disturbing child .It helps to control the hyper, attention seeking children.
• Count down method- to control the class without losing patience.
• Avoid power struggles/confrontations- it can be embarrassing for both the children and the teachers. Speak to the child after the class.

Plz give some suggestion how to handle those students who had not done their homework on regular basis.. n then ask irrelevant questions.. m teaching 10 class maths n science.
Give them challenging ,practical and innovative home work that can evoke their interest.Praise them , give them incentive like the marks of the assigned project would be added in the pre-board exams ; these are important questions fro the point of board exams etc. and keep motivating them .

Don't change the sitting arraignment as its not possible in your case but keep ample space to move in the rows and don't stand at one place to teach. Keep moving in the rows.

What to do
Make the class interesting by using teaching aids. It could be becoz they are not getting interest in the class. Give challenging assignments to them related to your subject to channelize their energy in a positive manner. For that you can search on internet even you tube. Use visual reminders to quieten them else you would be exhausted .Good luck!
Ma'am plz give some ideas to grab the attention of the students as my class makes a lot of noise and my class management goes out of the window. This is my first time as a teacher.

Strategies are different for different age groups. As u have not mentioned the classes u r taking so assuming it to be a primary class I’m suggesting some ways to control the class, without excreting yourself much.
Firstly, try to make the class as interesting as possible by using audio visual teaching aids and teach thorough activity-oriented methods. Class only disturbs the teacher when they don’t find the lessons interesting. Because when the teachers don’t have plans then students have their own plans and at that moment the class goes out of control, as happening in your case.
Use visual reminders to quieten the noisy class like- raise hand to convey them a message that they must stop taking, you can carry a whistle in the class like PT teacher, stand in front of the class quietly with firm face, no smile and look at the class quietly without saying a word. Slowly and gradually the kids will start saying that ma'am is angry, quiet. And the moment this message will be conveyed to all, they will become quiet. Then looking at watch and tell them you have taken for e.g. 5 min to quieten, next time it should be the same. Then start the class with an activity.
Whenever the class goes low, do 2- 3 min activity- hands up- down, sit -stand dance- freeze etc. It’s always better then shouting. Whenever we shout we give them an indication that we are failing to control you and they take advantage of that situation. Hope it helps u and others. Stay connected.

Checking should never be done in the class. Make leaders in the class who can also help you with checking work with pencil and then you can recheck that. It would save some time. Some educated cooperating parents can also be taken into confidence ,to take their help in it, If possible.

Make it mandatory for them to converse in English. Sooner or later they will converse.

Make your class as interesting as possible then the students would neither disturb you nor you will have to raise your volume, as they would them self be in the listening mode.

You can teach this through an activity . Take the pictures of animals and their babies and distribute it to the class.Now ask the mother animals to find their baby animals but only by taking out the sound not by saying their names.Once all are able to find their babies then make them learn animal and their babies name.Thus in a play way manner, they will learn name of animals, babies and their sounds as well. ma'am I really wanted to talk you.I teach in village schul and the parents are not well educated so the kids are not able to do their homework or they never pay attention in studies and never learn any spellings.
Pl mail the problems you are facing at the provided email id and I will try to revert.What all classes you are taking? Simple solution to your problem is teaching them through activities. Search on youtube wherever you are getting stuck, take ideas and implement. Don't give routine homework rather give homework that children can do themselves, that too willingly. For example- you have taught them Noun. Give Hw to make a paper boat and write the names of all the things theysee on the way while going back home.Expected answers would be bus. car, man, tree etc.and next day discuss and tell all these things are noun. For spelling never encourage ratification rather teach them through sounds that will work better .And Still the words that are spelled differently from the sound coming out . Sing , add music and make them learn. Treat them like your own kids, not relying on any help from others.Mothers are self content and do not look at others for any help. Right !good luck!

For slow learners, you have to be very patient. With consistent efforts, you can bring gradual change in them. Keep an alarm clock on that child’s table and set the time you want him/ her to finish the task but don’t be very rigid about it. This will keep reminding the child to stay on toes to finish the assigned task. Don’t forget to praise (stars, candies, applaud, even hug would help) even if the results are not very good. Remember you have to be very patient.Good luck!

Ways of telling a story
Circle time - Make them sit in circle.
Participation of audience-
Repetition of some musical lines.
Make maximum use of visual aids -such as story charts, placards, flash cards, board settings & illustrated story books. This will help to make the story more interesting, enjoyable and easy
usage of facial expressions, action and voice modulation
Give drawing ,handouts or any art work related to the story.
