Nick - I'm a fellow New Englander btw - I wanted to say that I watch many automotive related channels and have for a few years. There are many more popular, high budget channels but I find yours to be my favorite and the most entertaining so thanks for sharing your life with us and being humble as well as knowledgeable, keep doing whatever you're doing if you ask me. Also I love that you do snowtire videos with your brand new 911, shows that you actually drive your sports car AND you share the experience which is worthy of our respect, so thanks Nick!
Nick is unlike any other person I've ever seen. Such a positive, upbeat guy all of the time. Always seems like he is in a great mood and just enjoying life. Really awesome to watch
Thanks Ryan, sometimes my sisters say I am too positive and need a good punching in the face but I don't see it as a bad thing. Thanks for the great comment.
There are plenty of buttholes who drive Porsche 911s...the attitude projected in the video is very positive in a way that extends beyond the car being driven. He was equally enthusiastic even when driving a lowly BMW!
M cars aren't lowly. But I get your point and agree with it. It obvious he's from a good family background. His sister seem a balanced and positive person, too. Great to see on youtube
I have been watching your channel for quite a long time now and it always has me in anticipation for your next video. You have great content, a great sense of humor and I mean spot on my kind of humor. It's great to see you and your sister together in videos too. You both have the shared family laugh it seems, and of course Tui is great. Thank you for all the effort you put in to making your channel so entertaining Nick. Keep up the great work.
yeah the cute sister is back!!! I really only watch this channel for the vids of Becky and Nick's dog. I will go on record as saying Nick is the only thing holding back Nick' channel from exploding...😂😂
I don't have anything clever or relevant to say. Nothing but: I really do enjoy watching the two of you. ..and seeing Becky have fun driving the Porsche is pretty damn cool. This video, and that hilarious t-shirt, are good examples of why i love your channel Nick.
Not sure I would let my baby sister (if I had one) drive my new Porsche but it shows how generous you are Nick. Very nice video. Thanks for sharing your life with us. Really enjoy your vids. Keep 'em coming.
This was a wonderful video; a beautiful car, your joy in ownership, your sister's first experience of it, your intimate sibling relationship. Thank you and your sister for sharing. Great Stuff.
Great video. So fun to watch someone getting so much enjoyment from a car. Love your videos Nick. Great quality and the Connecticut backdrop just makes it.
This was a delight to watch. You sharing your wonderful new toy with your sweet sis. I love hearing her giggle with joy after being tickled by the power of that beautiful car. Well done!!
The Carrers 4S has been my dream car for as long as the model has existed and I've lusted after all things Porsche since I first saw a 911 in the flesh back in the early seventies. The 4S will be remain my dream car till I'm in the grave as I've never been able to afford one and never will, but it always gives me a vicarious thrill to see someone driving one and having a blast doing it. Your sister is charming, by the way. I owned a right-hand drive car when I was a soldier serving in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam war and, as a Yank, it always seemed odd to me shifting gears with my left hand. I got used to it, but it never felt natural. Thanks for all the great videos. I only discovered them a short while ago, but I think I'm addicted now.
Another great video Nick. Many thanks for sharing. Are you still planning to do a video on 4 wheel steering? Looking forward to future videos and all the best with your new 911. Now you need to buy one for Becky as well!!!
Hi Nick! I m following your Videos for a while. Just wanna say: Supernice configuration of your 911. Like the Wheels very much, and the Color. Great Video with your sister. Greetings from Germany :-)
anisweiler whenever posting a comment on YT or in real life for that matter first check that 1; it is true 2; it is necessary And 3; it is kind Regards, AP.
I remember the first time I drove a car with the gears on the wrong side. I kept grabbing the door to try and change gear. It's very odd! I got used to it eventually but I do still prefer using the left. It just feels more natural to me having been brought up with it.
I've been following your channel since the 991.1 fiasco and the more I see the new 991.2, the more tempted I am to buy it....I would spec close to yours, except for the rims.
It's been ages since I drove a good manual, and it's was so much fun (new focus RS) only a few weeks ago, but I have to admit driving a left hook using your right hand to change cogs would be a bit daunting at first, I must try to get a drive in a Porsche soon, it's been so bloody long, nice car as well, great spec.
Thanks for another great video Nick! You've inspired me to go with the Night Blue Metallic on my GTS order, as your car looks stunning (was going to go with the GT silver). Now please help me to decide PDK vs Manual (I've always owned Manual cars, M4 was a manual, but I honestly keep changing my mind every 5 minutes). Can't wait for your comparo video between the two. Cheers!
hi. can i ask you something? what do you think of the targa 4s? i like the glass top in your porshce. Does it opens and let the air in? is there that option in the porsche hard top? Why does targa does not have a glass top? You did not buy the cabriolet because of the money difference, or do you prefer the closed porsche?
96bobbylou I think he was being ironic.....regarding "sheeps" thinking that some pedantic knob might pick him up on his grammar.....and guess what .....yep
ah manual 4sp holden gemini to get my license in 1979 in Oz. autos were very rare and exclusive back then. I never drive when stateside. But love right turn on red. qld is trying this. Victoria says no. Nice car Nick. Regards from down under. ps. I love shortland Street.
I was going to ask if it was weird getting used to using the right hand for shifting, I went to Aussie land a few years back and it was weird :D Now I don't have to ask since it came up in this. Keep up the good work! I need to get my channel going again and do some road trips!
Hey Nick, just have to say that even though your spec isn't the popular choice I would straight up copy it. The 911 is such a classy car, and I think you have nailed it.
Thats not what the 2017 owners manual says: (I'm sure is better to follow your advice though) Running in the vehicle The moving parts of a new vehicle must be run in. The parts require the first 2000 miles (3,000 km) for this purpose. The oil and fuel consumption may be somewhat higher than normal during this period. During the running-in period, drive as follows: ¥ Preferably take long trips. Avoid frequent cold starts with short-distance driving whenever possible. ¥ Avoid full throttle starts and abrupt stops. ¥ Do not participate in motorsport events, sports driving training or similar events. ¥ Avoid high engine speeds of 4,000 rpm or more. Drive at low engine speeds when the engine is cold. ¥ Do not let the engine labor, especially when driving uphill. Shift to the next lower gear in time (use the most favorable rpm range). ¥ Never lug the engine in high gear at low speeds. This rule applies at all times, not just during the break-in period. . There may be a slight stiffness in the steering,gear-shifting or other controls during the break-in period which will gradually disappear.
You overtake on the right lane, that's not allowed here in (netherlands) Europe. Only in the left lane. It would cost you around 230 euro. And if you forget to use your turn signal for direction that will cost you another 90 euro.
Hey Nick, I find it quite hard to shift smoothly in a brandnew manual Porsche 911 because the clutch grips so strongly. Do you feel the same or is it easy for you?
Is the 7 speed manual still basically a manually shifted PDK? Do they let you turn the auto blip on and off? I hate how the M4 auto blip is linked to throttle mode (only off in sport+, and on all other times).
Hi Nick, I just found this tidbit; ua-cam.com/video/7oCrWXr4yL8/v-deo.html. (starts at 3:12), about how to turn OFF rev-match while still engaged in either Sport or Sport + mode... Video produced by Mike Ludes - Porsche salesman at Capital Eurocars, Tallahassee, Florida. Bottom line, you need to turn off PSM. Interesting work-around albeit risky.
How does your blind sport monitor work with those three red lines? are the a progressive system saying you can cut in front of someone or do they just all light up when there's someone there?
Great work Nick as usual. Look forward always to your next vids. I fear you've created Becky the Monster. Gonna have to save up to help her buy one for herself!
Love your video nick! Great one as always! I thought the throttle blip was really cool! Just that when I drove a car with it, I kinda freaked out cus it felt really weird 😅
Nick, you are such a cool dude and cooler dad. Nothing but respect for you. Thanks for sharing and entertaining. Keep it coming. Just a different take on car reviews!

This sort of comment is why I make the effort to always improve this channel so thank you Dan
i love the channel as well! im actually from Connecticut. i was hoping to see nick at the greenwich car meet yesterday.
well said dan, keep it up nick!
That's exactly what I think and feel to this channel. Thank you Nick you are so special !
Seriously your channel is awesome, and it's because you aren't up your own arse. It's just about enjoying cars.
I was actually about to make the exact same comment. It just shows a good approach to life, I like it.
Ryan Napoli he drives a Porsche 911 you can't be unhappy if you drive a Porsche 911 :)
There are plenty of buttholes who drive Porsche 911s...the attitude projected in the video is very positive in a way that extends beyond the car being driven. He was equally enthusiastic even when driving a lowly BMW!

yeah the cute sister is back!!! I really only watch this channel for the vids of Becky and Nick's dog. I will go on record as saying Nick is the only thing holding back Nick' channel from exploding...😂😂
I completely agree, if Tui goes out on her own I am done
Let Nick produce Becky and Tui's videos but keep him off camera.
This vid will probably get a million views just because of her laugh. Refreshingly honest. Great, real vid. Loved it. Well done mate.
I don't have anything clever or relevant to say. Nothing but: I really do enjoy watching the two of you. ..and seeing Becky have fun driving the Porsche is pretty damn cool. This video, and that hilarious t-shirt, are good examples of why i love your channel Nick.
Thank you for taking the time to write a positive comment, it does make a difference to see comments like this
The more & more I see this car more I approve the spec well done Nick
becky or beaky? I'm confused
Kristóf Máthé maybe it was intentional since he says it in his Kiwi acceeent
Always some spelling mistake
Kristóf Máthé 🤔LMAO
Nick Murray whatever man I still live your videos so keep up the good work👊😌
Nick, you sister is so much nicer than you are!
No doubt about that!
Not sure I would let my baby sister (if I had one) drive my new Porsche but it shows how generous you are Nick. Very nice video. Thanks for sharing your life with us. Really enjoy your vids. Keep 'em coming.
That shirt is amazing haha. Where can I get one?
I plan to start selling my bad taste shirts soon.
Sweet! I've been digging them in the videos and wondering if you had them made or found them somewhere
TAKE MY MONEY!!!! lol
I love how you're wearing that now since you don't have the PDK anymore.
pmh thought I would say that BUT YOU BEAT ME TO IT !
"You better than me? In every way..." I liked how you said that. Great video Nick! Keep up the good work.
This was a wonderful video; a beautiful car, your joy in ownership, your sister's first experience of it, your intimate sibling relationship. Thank you and your sister for sharing. Great Stuff.
Next up, Becky drifts the 911!
Well done!!
3:22 "so scary"
4:25 "okay I'm just gonna floor it"
hahahaha!
After one hell of a long day in school with the laboratory work coming home and watching this is great, nice video, again, Nick :-)
Nice video Nick. Beckys expressions and exclamations are priceless.
"Put your foot to the floor" 10 seconds later "ok, slow down" haha
This was so much fun to watch. Great video. Congrats again on the new 911 Nick!
The Carrers 4S has been my dream car for as long as the model has existed and I've lusted after all things Porsche since I first saw a 911 in the flesh back in the early seventies. Always awesome to share the passion for Porsche and cars in general with your loved ones :) nice vid!
Nick, you are currently my favorite car channel. Congrats!
Another great video Nick. Many thanks for sharing. Are you still planning to do a video on 4 wheel steering? Looking forward to future videos and all the best with your new 911. Now you need to buy one for Becky as well!!!
Nick, your videos are brilliant. Even my watches them with me. I've just bought a manual 2014 C4S. Keep up the good work.
That was a great vedio! One of your best. I had a smile the whole time watching you show your cute sister how to drive the Porsche. She was perfect!
Very Cool Nick. Always appreciate your easy going videos and insight.
Hi Nick! I m following your Videos for a while. Just wanna say: Supernice configuration of your 911. Like the Wheels very much, and the Color. Great Video with your sister. Greetings from Germany :-)
I was laughing the whole time! I love you for posting these fun videos.
Best video I've seen in a long time - real excitement giggles.
You two get along so well, love your comment to her at the end
Hey Nick, can you turn the auto-blip function off?
ditto
It turns off in Sport and Normal mode. Only activates in Sport Plus.
Thanks kabob21!!
Glad "Bicky" isn't wearing any of your STD shirts.
Beaky did a great job
Nick, I think you should make a video about your music taste ! Loved the Talk Talk intros ;-)
Too bad she’s your sister, she’s a keeper.
Almost 100k subscribers, Good job Nick! Keep up the awesome videos :)
With all due respects, she has quite a funny laugh.
anisweiler whenever posting a comment on YT or in real life for that matter first check that
1; it is true
2; it is necessary
And 3; it is kind

AP.
Well, it wasn't necessary nor kind I agree, but It was true you must admit !
your sister's laugh is adorable! looks like you both had good fun!
Nick thank you for sharing another great video 👍
Cheers from NYC!
Great video. "Bikie" is having a great time, plus the shirt is awesome. Engine sound is tops. Love it.
"See how it blipped?" "What flipped?" hahaha
Needed this video today. laughed throughout! Great job to you both!
Like listening to an effervescent dolphin with her laughs lmao
Another great fun video, and I love the shirt! Do you design the shirts yourself or did you get them from another retailer?
Finally got to see your garage. Thanks!
I remember the first time I drove a car with the gears on the wrong side. I kept grabbing the door to try and change gear. It's very odd!
I got used to it eventually but I do still prefer using the left. It just feels more natural to me having been brought up with it.
I do believe Becky is reacting just the way I would. Just one long giggle.
"It makes a noise" HAW!
CERTAINLY entertaining, Nick!
I've been following your channel since the 991.1 fiasco and the more I see the new 991.2, the more tempted I am to buy it....I would spec close to yours, except for the rims.
I love that spec of your car. Even better though is the fact you don't treat it like a delicate fragile thing. You drive and enjoy it. Awesome
Hey Nick, I love your videos keep up the great work!
Becky looks amazing in that Porshe and she has the charisma too. Love her laughings.
You did not buy the cabriolet because of the money difference, or do you prefer the closed porsche?
Thanks for another great video Nick! You've inspired me to go with the Night Blue Metallic on my GTS order, as your car looks stunning (was going to go with the GT silver). The Targa is already too top heavy so no more glass
Nick, those wheels are fantastic! Love 'em!
I'll give you three sheeps and a goat for your sister, how bow dah?
Daniel Shulman I'll triple it... you don't like it? CASH ME OUSSIDE
*sheep, already plural.
96bobbylou I think he was being ironic.....regarding "sheeps" thinking that some pedantic knob might pick him up on his grammar.....and guess what .....yep

What bicycle is hanging on the wall? How about a review on it?
I was going to ask if it was weird getting used to using the right hand for shifting, I went to Aussie land a few years back and it was weird :D Now I don't have to ask since it came up in this. Keep up the good work! I need to get my channel going again and do some road trips!
Nick where do you get your shirts hahahhahaha
I make them myself. I plan to start selling my bad taste shirts soon
Cant wait!
Look into laser etching and dye sublimation for your shirt prints. Cooler look and more durable printing.
Love the shirts! When do you think you'll do the headlight comparison? I would be curious to see if the led's are really brighter.
Hey Nick, just have to say that even though your spec isn't the popular choice I would straight up copy it. The 911 is such a classy car, and I think you have nailed it.
She's simply adorable! And your sister is quite nice.
Nick - just love the giggles. It brings smiles. :)
"rev it until it hits the red" ... so much for the break in. :)
Bob Rae Porsche engines are pre broken in
Steven B do you own one? Read your owners manual. N engine speed above 4,000 RPM for the first 2,000 miles. Does that sound like it's pre broken in?
Thats not what the 2017 owners manual says:
(I'm sure is better to follow your advice though)

always great Nick, keep it up!
Great sibling bonding....in a C4S! Really have enjoyed all your videos Nick. :)

It is the other way around in the Porsche, only on in SPort and Sport + otherwise off
Hi Nick, I just found this tidbit; ua-cam.com/video/7oCrWXr4yL8/v-deo.html.
Awesome Nick...You've made me a rabid Porsche fan...I also share your love (I think) for Apple!
does the auto blip feature prevent overrevs?
How does your blind sport monitor work with those three red lines? are the a progressive system saying you can cut in front of someone or do they just all light up when there's someone there?
Keep up the good work Nick, iam enjoing your videos all the way from Norway
Loved this video, Nick! Especially the last thing you said :). You're a great guy. Keep it up!
Great work Nick as usual. Look forward always to your next vids. I fear you've created Becky the Monster. Gonna have to save up to help her buy one for herself!
Is rev match part of sport chrono? Too lazy to google it.
yes
what kind of cameras you use?
Hi Nick, How many miles have you done in the 911 now? (Mine is 6 weeks old and I've done 3200 kms).
Hey Nick have you ever thought about doing an AMA?
i love your channel
so enjoyable to watch
Where in CT are you? I'm down in Greenwich.
Nice to see how you made your sister a speed addict. Helping her loose her license. Wonderful to see her giggle.
Got a question about rev matching... Does it eliminate engine breaking? @nickmurray
No
Damn, that laugh.. So contagious! :)
4:30. Flooring like a boss when a car is trying to merge
Love your video nick! Great one as always!
I thought the throttle blip was really cool!
Just that when I drove a car with it, I kinda freaked out cus it felt really weird 😅
Becky seems to just as happy and upbeat as you in this video. It’s nice to see. Your parents did a good job raising you, by the looks of it.
Does it rev match when shifting to a higher gear as well? Or only on downshifts?
Great vid! Super fun and non-pretentious.
Shifting with your left hand and driving on the left side of the road is trippy :-)
Great show! Car is a beaut! Enjoy and look forward to more videos.
Nick, you are such a cool dude and cooler dad. Nothing but respect for you. Thanks for sharing and entertaining. Keep it coming. Just a different take on car reviews!
sanu2809 Becky is his little sister
tonycommotion oops..thanks for the clarification
