You probably can't effectively play an octave below this. The bass might be in the same octave as the guitar
Sawyer McElroy-Parvis Guess what, you actually can! Look up the song "Detestor" by the band Humanity's Last Breath, they play in Double Drop C with a bass at an octave below and go a step lower in the last quarter of the song to Double Drop B Flat, again with the bass an octave below. It's not impossible.
And they use Custom 6 string guitars, it's super epic!!

The original doom songs were basically just thrash metal songs like master of puppets and behind the crooked Cross put into midi but with some wrong notes to not get sued

Olaf van Rijnsbergen The bassist doesn't have to play an octave below no matter what, if that's what you're thinking. Not even a Quake bass would get down here anyways, so Rob I can almost guarantee played in the same octave with the bass.

The bass is probably tuned to standard Drop B, so it's in the same register as the guitar.

1. Rings of Saturn don't tune that low. They only tune to Drop E.
2. Those solos are nowhere near as fast as Lucas Mann's solo's.
