      Thanks I appreciate that... I personally let the clear dry 3 days to a week depending on what clear I’m using but there is multiple ways of getting the clear to dry and in most cases to get the best results it’s best to read the label or tech sheet on proper procedure for that clear. • @UndergroundPaintKing

      All clear isn’t the same so it could be next day or it could be a week...it really depends on your process. It can vary if you’re in a shop setting with a paint booth that bakes the paint or if you’re in a garage/home setting and you let the clear air dry but it’s always good to go off of the manufacturer recommendations to play it safe...I hope this helps and if not let me know and I’ll do what I can to help out

    • @UndergroundPaintKing

      You can start at 1000 to cut your runs and step up to 1200 to 1500 to 2000 if you like but it really depends on how much material you have on your car so you want to be mindful of that so that you don’t cut through your clear then have to do any paint repairs

    What causes the runs ?
    The painter not moving quick enough with the passes?

    • @UndergroundPaintKing
      @UndergroundPaintKing  Рік тому

      Could be moving to slow and too much material builds up in that spot, could be the temp that you’re spraying at and the temp of the car, could be the reducer/hardner that’s being used that doesn’t have the materials drying fast enough which could cause a sag…could be your fan pattern not wide enough for the distance you’re spraying at…I hope this helps and makes sense to you RZA77
