Love the series! But there is too much emphasis on the hot wife and the pretty but too skinny daughter. Sometimes it feels like they are there to extend the episodes runtime, the amount of screen time they take up seems to do nothing to advance the story or narrative of the show. Just my humble.
@mikeb.7183 I wouldn't be surprised if they bought M - Tech. They would need a front man. That might wind up being Cooper. What if Arianna is Gallino's daughter?
I think thats a fair comment Tommy didn't have a problem with them until that Young guy making trouble, the boss guy and Tommy are pretty much on the same page their is no other industry's are as important to Texas as the oil industry if the stay out of each other shit they will get, as we seen the boss didn't agree with the Young guy and shot him as he realizes they need each other.
Love LANDMAN it inspired Public Oil & Mineral a worker owned and managed concept yet to be developed like MacArthur Park Musical Theme Parks 8 properties each larger than Disney World 88 Zettabytes for creating FreeMarkets not surveilling away the public trust so providing all of us an exciting living story line. Sheridan can you tell my story? I wrote the 28th Amendment draft it’s going to become the global high creed restoring the authority of consenting governed (we’re getting a fourth branch of government so check it please) let’s allow the people the power to write our own damn narratives eh? 😂❤
First of all Monty Miller hasn't died yet, we were left with him holding on and waiting for a heart transplant, at the end of season 1. Thanks for the spoiler!
I think the 160 million dollar deal Tommy is putting together for MTEX oil will somehow clash with Coopers aspirations of starting his own oil company? Are they going after the same drilling sites?
I say cartel has messed in their own pants now remember Tommy has crews that have nothing to loose and love a fight and remember who went and picked Tommy up seeing how bad he was he is going to be one who tells everyone what is going on so the fight is going to be big
Sheridan seems to run out of episode ideas very quickly, I would like to see at least 7 seasons and 20 episodes per season without having to wait a lifetime for seasons to drop!!
Yall dont understand production scheduling and the fact when you run as many shows as he does, they require leapfrogging. You stick watching and let the pros stick to producing. Or would you rather other writers and directors that arent as good produce his shows? You see what multiple directors, writers and producers did to Star Wars... ffs
The first scene the cartel or Mexican stereotype wants money for surface rights and property damage . Then a plane full of drugs gets hit by a truck and some people die Police called Then the cartel wants the money for the drugs they lost from tommy for some reason Then I fell asleep and missed the end of season 1 And the rest of the story lines are more ridiculous then that
Monty is dead, Rebecca is actually Monty’s daughter, Cami will find out and it will be an internal struggle in the company, they will get in trouble with the deal and the Cartel will bail them out, Rebecca will get control of the company, Tommy will get fired and join Cooper
@@rjenkins66bj I seem to recall something about conflicting schedules, but with two such monumental egos juggling their respective passion projects, somethings gotta give. FWIW, I found Taylor’s brief performance in 1883 far less egotistical than his Travis in Yellowstone. Big fan of Nathan, and while it was certainly rushed, the budding Cooper /Ariana romance felt as close to authentic as I think Taylor can write - or get help with.
Monty is not dead. Look at the family scene with him. Look at the machines, what do they say? Why would they even be hooked up if he is dead? Once again, folks are guessing, not knowing.
He also didn't reject the cartel offer. He just said they'd never be friends, but that they'd leave eachother alone and if they did meet they'd both be real polite. That's exactly what they wanted...
@@johnjacobson9528 Dude3 they were piecing that dredge together like a kid who found out his report was due tomorrow. The way he puts out his shit.. I guess we'll see this season 2 in 2027
😂😂😂😂 I know then we’ll have to watch season 1 to refresh our memories! Takes so darn long to get these series from him going, frustrating!

I agree, they don’t add to he show, just irritate me, it’s like a different story in there, annoying one
The Cartel will finance the 160 million dollar deal and Tommy won’t realize they are behind the loan until it’s to late
You’re probably right. As soon as I saw Andy Garcia I knew there would be a season 2
@mikeb.7183 I wouldn't be surprised if they bought M - Tech. They would need a front man. That might wind up being Cooper. What if Arianna is Gallino's daughter?
The cartel had to have known that they can’t win a war with big oil

Tommy knew he was in danger. No way he would have been driving around by himself.....
What are you talking about- they would of took whoever was with him and killed them too - they went to kill him not scare him
Monte isn't dead. Officially, but I think we know he's def not gonna make it.
Get tired of having to wait so long between seasons. By the time they come back around, you lose some interest in them.
Ok Monty died. He's dead. 1,he flatlined. 2. He's done a couple of interviews stating he died and has moved on to other projects. So there's that. 😅😅😅
First of all Monty Miller hasn't died yet, we were left with him holding on and waiting for a heart transplant, at the end of season 1. Thanks for the spoiler!
Ainsley ad Ryder's storyline is the biggest IDGAF about the entire series.

Sure Cartels rarely have guys like that in their ranks
Cooper buys all the small leases. Cartel finances him. Tommy is torn between supporting him and joining or confronting them
Cigarette companies dream series ! Puff on Landman!
Watch a Complete Unknown. Virtually no scenes in the entire movie without somebody smoking. Different world back then.
I think maybe the cartel and tommmy will work together or at least not be opposing each other like in season 1.
Tommy has DNA and prints on the cigarette pack
I've been watching mostly for Billy Bob but if Sheridan makes useless simp jr. into an oil baron I'm out.
Cartel kills Tommy...Cooper learns from his fathers mistakes and becomes the next Landman.
Taylor Sheridan doesn't leave fans waiting too long lol. What's it been, 3 years for season 2 of 1923?
Sheridan seems to run out of episode ideas very quickly, I would like to see at least 7 seasons and 20 episodes per season without having to wait a lifetime for seasons to drop!!
It depends what the network pays for. You watch anything on HBO or any other pay channel. It only last 10 episodes.
@@rjenkins66bj Yeah... Its pathetic. Specifically with these Sheridan shows. Always top notch.

Who gives a rat ass...onward and upward...whatever he does it will turn to gold and paramount will j ust be ecstatic
I don’t know why you think Sheridan is fast , seems to me he takes forever!

Police called

I like it!!!
Sounds feasible.
Wrong
Did Monty pass? I thought he was waiting for a heart doner?
Tommy has come a long way from the Foot Ball coach in Friday Nite lights
Can’t wait.
Who says Monty is dead? I don’t think he is. Or I missed something.
He is on life support machine.
So much drama and disingenuous dysfunction makes it difficult to enjoy
Sheridan will screw this one just like Yellow Stone
Yes I would tend to agree, Sheridan seems to have the ability to let his ego get in the way!
Over reach seems to be his game.
As long as Billy Bob don't quit on him and the crew. Like Costner did. I don't think BBT has an ego like Costner

A Feb 23 return has already been announced for Season 2!🎉❤
Nope
That's for "1923" Season 2
Wrong
HE WON'T DIE NOW...
Monty is not dead. Look at the family scene with him. Look at the machines, what do they say? Why would they even be hooked up if he is dead? Once again, folks are guessing, not knowing.
The monitors were flatlined and all the readings were “0” if you look closer
You do not lay on the spot. Where someone just had surgery.
Machines are flat lined
His wife is crying on his chest. Do you think the staff rush in push her out of the way so they can remove the leads?
Why do these AI channels say Monty died???

Final season of Yellowstone sure sucked. Wasn't worth even watching.
Look at the machine it’s flat line
