Take it all the way back to what I think is one of the greatest projects ever (because he did it ALL), Sling Blade. He has been a master from the start. Doesn't try to go all philosophical on you in interviews, just a master craftsman. Billy Bob Thornton is a force!!!
I foresee many awards coming for this show. The cast and writing make it addictive. Billy Bob and Ali Larter are fire together. And unpredictability funny too!

Dangerous as hell but worked with some crazy sob's I'll never forget, i almost got killed on day and tool pusher cursed me out while he was saving me. You have to do the work to understand what what I'm talking about. Crazy job done by crazy but great people. Gas should cost 10 dollars a gallon when you see how hard and dangerous it is to produce it!
Man, I'm glad he's back acting. gotta love Billy Bob T, and it's crazy to learn a few things about the oilfield. Hopefully, we get to see so much more!! DR.TX

But you failed to mention the absolute lie about the wind machine and how much energy it takes to manufacture it and deliver it to the job site. The real number is 5%!
It took me a couple of episodes to recognize Ali Larter cause I was like oh my God this woman looks more gorgeous than ever. She has an aged a day. She’s stunning and she’s hilarious!
Ali Larter played so brilliantly, and was one of the highlights of this production. She definitely deserved to have her name on the movie poster. More than Demie Moore 100%.
If they get rid of his mental ex wife and daughter I’ll watch it again. Until those two idiots are gone I’m done watching it. They ruin the entire show.

In the early 2000s my stepson and son in law worked the gas wells of the Barnett Shale in North Texas. It was hard, dirty work. 12 hour shifts, 7 days a week for two weeks and off a week. I helped my son in law with his taxes one year. He made over 100k. He was a driller. The guy over him was the Toolpusher. He had one boss. The Company Man. No matter your politics, nothing Tommy says in this scene is not true.
I really like Billy Bob Thornton he is a great actor he does good I like the land man I like just about every movie he's ever been in and he's a good actor
