Kh2 was my first ever game and Twilight thorn as number 1 is perfect I love his design and I i loved that he was roxas' version of darkside its just so fitting also I'm glad I wasn't the only one that thought dark inferno looked like a super upgraded version of the invisibles This was a great video to watch literally right before I go to sleep alao love your meme video btw
I mean, given Darksides is supposed to be an evolved form of Sora's shadow, it would be reasonable for Twilight Thorn to be an evolved version of Sora's Nobody, aka Roxas and even mirror the encounter in the process
Can't help but notice that many of the bosses mentioned here are pureblood heartless, the ones that comes from the real of darkness! They does have the coolest fight design! I mean look at the neoshadows
As a mega KH fan, I enjoy any type of KH content that is well-made, which all your content has been so far for me. In fact I appreciate the variety, but definitely I'd say the meme-y type content is at the bottom of the list for me for things I want to see often (I still like it every now and again though).
I have three words for you: *DARK. HIDE.* For me, it's BY FAR the best heartless in the entire series for me, it's not even close. Funny thing is, it doesn't rank that well for ANY of you three categories, so it ended as a honorable mention. The reason I love Dark Hide isn't the story, gameplay or music. It's the atmosphere, the design, the direction of the scene, the whole style the it's built upon, that's what makes the boss so special. The Dark Hide isn't the best because of how good a boss it is, it's the best because it embodies the very essence of a Heartless far better than any other. It's sinister, intimidating, dark and terrifying. You don't fight he Dark Hide, the Dark Hide fights YOU. The Dark Hide is the hunter, while you just fight for survival.

In reference to climbing up Darkside's are to hit its head and that KH1 doesnt do mechanics like that except for that Darkside: I don't remember it rewarding you tech points but there are a few other bosses that kinda encourage you to think in a similar way. Like When Cerberus and Behemoth Heartless lower down to attack you can jump on their backs and stay on to deal more damage and for the Maleficent dragon fight you can just run up and jump on her back too. When I was younger I usually just stayed on their backs and kept throwing spells, limits, and Summons at them while up there. Since they introduced the arm climbing thing so early in the game as a concept I just kept that in mind for future boss fights and it worked out lol.
Your first video on KH1 is actually one of my favorites, I think you excel in those kinds of informal analysis, TED talk-like videos. Though that is also my personal taste. Ultimately, it’s cliche but I say make the content you enjoy making the most!
The Dread of Night, the track used for Anti Black Coat, also plays in the fight with Nightmare Chirithy in X! Which might make the track something of a counterpart to Anger Unchained as the theme of especially powerful Nightmares, as opposed to Anger being that for powerful Heartless. It could also be for Nightmare battles that do more to evoke the connection between Dream Eaters and fallen Keyblade wielders
I personally had a pretty unenjoyable experience playing 0.2 because the graphics got stretched a bit too far, but it's undeniable that the boss fights there are fantastic

I honestly had no idea KH3 has a secret boss in Keyblade Graveyard. I haven't gone there at all after finishing the game because I found other things that I enjoy doing a lot more. 🤭

Agree on the Final Mix colors for Guard Armor. Looks like it's trying so hard to be a Gundam but misses the mark.
