Hey there. Thanks for posting your video. I've always heard from friends or older family that vehicles in their first year tend to have lots of glitches and it's best to wait a year or so for the next model year to get those glitches worked out whether it be wiring or whatever. I used to have an MV-1 since 2012 and just bought a 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan last October. I love it. I don't find the road noise near as bad as it was in the MV-1. In saying that I haven't gone anywhere with passengers in the backseat yet. I'm itching to do some more road trips soon when the covid numbers are a little safer. I really appreciated your tour particularly on the inside of the vehicle. I'm going to see if I can get the EZ Lock system installed in my van now or soon as opposed to before I purchased it. I'm really surprised at how easy it is to operate independently. Having someone undo the Q'Straint straps is such a time consuming pain in the butt. Thank you for the video. Nice work, very informative.
Hi. Thanks for posting this video on your Chevy traverse. I was actually in the process of comparing vehicles to get a new vehicle for myself. I was trying to decide between the Chrysler Pacifica, Toyota Sienna, or this Chevy Traverse. One of the things that I noticed in the Toyota is that trying to get behind the steering wheel (I drive from my wheelchair) is that it wasn't very spacious and I was getting pushed off center from the wheel… because the push rims on my wheelchair were spacing me further to the right off the door. I'm C5 quadriplegic in a manual wheelchair. I looked at braun abilities comparison chart and they said that the Chevy traverse is actually less spacious width wise in the front compared to the Toyota as well as the Pacifica... I actually got into Pacifica and it did feel wider in the driver area than a Sienna... but no one has a Traverse in my city so I can’t compare… I was wondering if you feel like the Traverse is less spacious upfront width wise for you trying to position your wheelchair compared to your older van. If you don't mind me asking do you know how wide your chair is?
Hello, my power chair is less than 30 inches wide, I have plenty of space when I sit up in the front, but sometimes adjusting my chair to slide right into the easy lock is a little bit hard. But I do not feel cramped up in there. I think with a manual chair you will have just the right amount of space
If you already bought one, I will like to know your experience. We bought a Traverse 2022 (converted by Braun Ability) and it has so many problems since day one.
@@Brenda-ey8vj I figured, I like how the pin is more lenient with depth, we put the Dahl system in our Sienna and it seems a lot more sturdy than the EZ lock but nowhere near as forgiving with height
Brenda thanks for video, I like it my daughter is handicapped in wheelchair I eould trade in my car but need help paying for it whats the name of company that helps pay l need help ❤
I would like to communicate with you. I have a Traverse 2022 (converted by Braun Ability) with so many problems since day one, and I will like to know you experience so far.
Do you mind posting what some of your problems have been? I'm about to get a 2023 modified Traverse from Braun Ability. It will cost a lot of money and I don't want to spend that much if I'm gonna have problems. I also drive from a power wheelchair. Thanks!
Question now that the video has a couple months can you tell me if you recall having less issues with your van. Can you tell how much more ez lock cost?/
@@ireneballart7766 I have a family member that just had to replace her van and she spent $105,000, but she got an excellent deal and you really should figure on about $115,000. I know of no organization that help pay for these... You many wish to speak with a local charity. But they would also consider the household income...
What about the noise? I have a Dodge caravan and it’s really noisy. I have to shout to speak with who set in the rare seat. So What about this one , is it better?
My number one complaint with the Caravan too! Too much road noise in the cabin. I sit up front and basically can’t communicate with anyone in the back.
Hi everyone! Does the background music get annoying or should I still continue to use it?
no the music works well with the video

This is the car I hope to get and it would be perfect for my good friend who is in a wheelchair! And our combined three dogs 🤣
You’re so kind! Wish everyone had a good friend like you!
Thanks for the info. We are looking at getting one for my son.

Nice looking vehicle!
What is the name of the people who helped you purchase your car?
Hello Brenda remember Rosa Avelar I’m her son I still watch you
Thank you
Before I scroll down to your video I was actually thinking about looking at a unconverted Treverse that made me rember I saw a BraunAbility Traverse
Wait but why is she walking I am confused
Or the person talking is not the one filming?
Edit: yeah okay that was the case haha
Awesome conversion!!
Is it super low to the ground? Do you ever bottom out? My converted Honda van is low and bottoms out if I drive it over speed bumps or steep slopes
@@jenniferbeck5952 yes, both of my traverses I’ve had are very very low to the ground to the point that you have to go as slow as possible over bumps
Is it 4wd?
Where did you buy it?
You big mad at that cup holder 🤣🤣
Yes they sure did me wrong with that LOL
Good for you. Our Traverse 2022 has been a lemon. Check Braun reviews.
Is there a reason you chose an EZ Lock over a Dahl system for example, or just what the dealer has on hand.
This is basically what the dealership told me to get. 😊I never really have issues with EZ Lock though.

How did u get from the passenger side to the driver side u did not show that part
I only sit on the passenger side. My caregiver drives the drivers side, and we recorded after she started driving too
Hi I'm looking into this SUV but I think it might be costly. Can you tell me how much it cost. Thanks
Regardless of which vehicle you purchase, you need to plan on $105,000 to $115,000.

Yes the van gave me less issues. The easy lock I don’t know because my vocational rehab at the hospital paid for it
nice car
Who helped you with the cost of the suv? Sorry I could not understand the organizations or company name. Thank you

Semper Fi fund they help veterans

Run from the Caravans, you will be far better off with the Toyota Sienna with longevity, noise and ride quality...

The Toyota Sienna, is a much better choice over the Honda Odyssey.
