  • 3 runs in Mexico. First stock. Second ESC Sport. Third ESC Off.
'18 GSW 4Motion w/DSG. 235/40/18 Continental Control Contact Sport SRS tires. About 50 deg F out. I also have XDS set to "weak" which will come into play here.
I'd say I was getting more screech in the ESC Sport and Off. I was at about 45mph or so at entry to the turn each time. Looks like I came out of the turn at 39mph stock, 41mph ESC Sport, and 43mph ESC Off.
The coding has been posted a bazillion and one times all over the interwebs but here it is if you don't want to just use 10 credits for the app (this would be the "ESC SPORT/ESC OFF V2" option in the app).
    Brake control unit\long coding\byte 29\
for bits 0-3, only have 3 checked which will be Hex 08 for that byte and give you the short push ESC Sport and long push ESC Off.

Thank you for posting. Still no major issues with your car after all this time? What tune are you on again these days?

Thanks, I didn't realize that ESC fully off was not a stock option. It looks like ASR off and ESC sport are the stock options. I am going to try this coding. Related: have you disabled "starting vibration reduction"? If so, how? Would be nice if there's a way to quickly turn that on and off too.

It's stock on the R. I have played with SVR. It does zero. I have a DSG so maybe for the stick guys but I'm not convinced anyone actually knows what SVR even does.

It's hard to actually get the car on the limit enough on the road to test this....track is different.

So esc sport / esc off , will turn off traction control and allow for burnouts? Off course im talking with turning off svr !

ASR is off when you do ESC Sport or ECS OFF. I have no idea what car you have. SVR does nothing for my 4Mo DSG car but knock yourself out!

@@daydream2818 correct - ECS OFF will be ASR Off and ESC Off - or at least as much as it will let you.

@@daydream2818 yes, when you turn it back on you get ASR on and ESC on. SVR is a separate setting that is not connected to the ASR/ESC settings.
