  • Decided to test the car for the first time at the track this season. Actually first test runs ever on the new tune running E65. First test and tune event I have attended. Some bit hitters come out for this preparing for the weekend. This was my track track run of the day with the Garrett GT2260S turbo and the new tune. Was my fastest and quickest run to day.

    Hell yeah, camera shakes enough it confused me on where the big block sounds came from. Lol

      These cars next to me with the 8L NA motors and the chop chop cams shake my car, mirrors and camera!

      @@BCAlltrack wow, that's nuts. Haven't had anything like that with my mk6 jsw at the track. Granted most of them are turbo LS and similar.

      @@BCAlltrack Please tell me the differences from is38, does pressure come out sooner or later? Can you get more power? If you drive on gasoline from the pump, does it make sense to install this garret or is is38 enough? Or even on gasoline garret will perform noticeably better

      @@nostromoever8943 the Gt2260S does make more power than the IS38. They have tuned the 2260 to spool almost as quickly as the IS38 up to 300tq at about 3000rpm and the another 100tq up to 400tq at 3500rpm! On 93 pump the 2260 performed about the same on the low end in 0-60 and 60’. On the top end it was faster and quicker! The 2260 does spool slower but with a good tuner it can spool very close to IS38!
