David, My guitar teacher and I agree that your lessons and tabs are really the best available online. Keep up the great work. Also, this is the song that got me playing guitar so a big thanks for covering it!
Wow thanks so much Tom, great to hear - I hope the lessons continue to be helpful long into the future! All the very best with your playing, and say hi to your teacher for me!
Thank you for the lesson. There is one thing I am wondering about. Multiple times during the song there is a cool lick after the Dsus4. I can't figure out how and where, on the guitar, that they play the lick.
what make and model guitar is he using? i need a smaller instrument. i have a bad right shoulder that hurts reaching over the regular size body and i don't have great left hand finger stretch
I find this song hard to sing. I’m no great singer, but can usually muddle through a song… something about this one going from verse, to pre-chorus, to chorus gets me above my register; I can’t seem to stay in whatever “range” I started with. Is there an intrinsic reason for that with this song? Obviously, CSN are masterful singers. Maybe I’m just ingrained to replicate what they do having listened to it so many times… at my own peril, of course. Thanks.
I definitely agree! Assuming you're talking about the moments just before he sings "Looking for that woman, girl" - listening to the song after I recorded this, that's one item I wish I tapped into further. Asus4 sounds right-on to me. Thanks for noting this!

I ALWAYS LIKE THE WAY YOU TEACH. BETTER THAN MOST WITH THE TIME YOU TAKE AND VISUAL CUES OVERLAID.
Thank you, nicely illustrated, which we will help me totally now to do this cover song.
Just got the song sheets today. Love the font. I can actually read it without reading glasses. A big help!
Can’t get any better than this!! Thank you for posting!
Love it and thank you so much. Downloaded all from Music Notes and it is awesome. You are the best. Now just gotta get these old fingers working…..
Thank you Mary - so glad the lessons, and print-outs, are helpful!
Love this song - one thing is instead of the Bm you could do Cadd9 instead - takes you to the A neatly.
Great guitarist and teacher, glad I found you
Great song choice here! Great tute too! Ta🙏🏻🐶💐
Thank you, Jade!
Thanks for sharing this David, great lesson.
You’re very welcome!
Excellent job David!!! Well taught.
You make a great guitar teacher. I like how you are cool subing G for Bm :)
Love it! Have you ever done any Heart songs? Love some tabs by Heart.
Great lesson - thanks for posting it.
So excited to learn this!
Well explained ❤

Just found you bro. Thank You ✊
done, bought the sheet, but can you add lead licks that are in the background?
This is great!

Thanks for the lesson! 🇵🇷
You’re very welcome, Luis!
Wonderful, stay blessed
Will do, thanks so much!
Hi David! Love your lessons. Your guitar sounds great. What brand and gauge of strings were used for this lesson? Thank you.
That appears to be a Taylor Mini-e Koa, the strings are probably 11-gauge. Since it is a small body, short-scale guitar they might be 10s.
Love this song!
Yes indeed, it's so good! Definitely fell in love with it all over again while learning/recording/editing this.
@@songnotes It’s my go-to during flights to Australia 🇨🇦 🛫 🇦🇺
EXCELLENT
🤘
Good video. Thanks!
Thanks, and you’re quite welcome - hope it’s helpful!
David, Key is D Major, not A per your instruction sheet. Great lesson, thx.

Nice one bora to Len gutter
Just an observation: It sounds to me like there should be a short Asus4 riff after "I've been around the world".

@@songnotes My pleasure! Great job anyway on the video/lesson.
