I love how they talked about Roose Bolton, given what's to come next week. When Calvin called Roose honorable, I was like, "wow, another character analysis he'll soon regret."
+naivuolis I started Game of Thrones at the end of April and I had heard of the Red Wedding and I had even gone to Wikipedia back in 2013 and gotten spoiled on some of the events. But I guess three years was enough to forget cuz I couldn't remember a thing that I had been spoiled on when I was watching the episodes, I didn't even realize I was watching the Red Wedding episode.
Eric: We know that he's loyal to Robb...Me: *stands up and claps* LET'S GIVE THIS MAN AN AWARD!!! I'm impressed Eric that you said that with a straight face. I can just imagine you practicing beforehand staring at yourself in the mirror. Nicely done. I am looking forward to see your other great performances c'x
I had forgotten how great Littlefinger's speech was. Roz's brutal death by Joefrey cemented my hatred for the king and ended my hope that Margery might make him better. Surprised that Calvin did not guess the cross is the Bolton banner and realize that the horn blower outside Winterfell was Bolton's Bastard. Great review.
Not through with this review yet, I don't know if they bring this up... Melisandre was very anxious to know what there is on the "other side" and was shot down. "There is no other side. Only darkness." The exact same thing happened to her with Jon Snow. I found that interesting.
Haha :D Calvin's thoughts about Roose were priceless, "He is an honorable man." Couple episodes and he'll never say those words about any Bolton again :p
To be fair, there is still quite a bit of misdirection about some characters like that at this point. Calvin picks up on some interestingly subtle things about characters, but falls for a lot of misdirection. :D
31:55 LOL! But 32:01 takes the cake! "He reminds me of Stannis" Hahahahahahahaha! This is why i love this channel so much. Just subscribed 2 days ago and i love how naive Calvin can be sometimes BUT he also picks up on some things really fast which is cool. I am surprised that Eric was able to keep a straight face in this video LOL.
Nicely done with diverting Calvin away from any suspicion regarding Roose - ''he's an honourable man'' Surprised you were unable to keep yourself laughing there
Thats the thing couldn't she use some other Lannister that already died? Then I heard a theory about Season 7 when cersei and jaime were standing on the map. Something that symbolizes that jaime will kill cersei by chocking her; She was standing on the neck and he on the fingers. That Arya killed jaime then used him to get close to cersei and kill her.
Hello there! I'm Brazilian, and I just want to tell you guys that I'm training my english by watching you, and it's awesome, because it's so fun to learn when you are having fun!
Calvin is pretty smart, looking forward to see if he twigs it when the Rains of Castamere starts to play....at least he gets the hand of the king badge.
I wish I had someone like Eric with me when I first watched Game of Thrones. It would mean I wouldn't have had to watch all of GoT 5 times over to get all the knowledge. But on the plus side, I got to watch GoT 5 times so it's all good 😊
I find it so interesting that Calvin has put 1 and 1 together on so many things and has not figured out that Theon is basically "Flayed Man" and didn't put together that he is the bastard of Roose Bolton.
If words are to be pronounced as they are pronounced in the show, I think some of the ones you (Eric) have stumbled on in the past might be Cersei (sir-see), Thoros of Myr (meer), R'hllor (reh-lore), Daenerys (da-nare-iss). I honestly couldn't do any better than you on Lord Commander Mormont's first name lol. I know reading the books makes one tend to pronounce them differently than other people choose to pronounce them, as evidenced famously with Hermione Granger lol. Also, please make a note or something to inform Calvin, like during the discussion of 3x10 or before starting 4x1 that the actor playing Daario Naharis is changed. Save him the confusion.
When you get to The Rains of Castamere, please take time to talk about Sam killing the white walker as well as the red wedding, as this is an important moment in the lore of Game of Thrones. Its also pretty epic and is a glimmer of light in the darkness.
I've been binging these because I recently re watched GoT. I really like them analyzing each episode, some things I've missed and some things I never understood even after re watching.
I am still surprised that Calvin did not link the "flayed man" and the cross with the Boltons. Our sweet summer child thinks Roose Bolton is an honorable man.. lol btw, Lord Commander´s name is Jeor Mormont =)
Holy shit that's the first time I heard someone actually go for "magic that they think comes from a God" before they went for "the God is real"... YES, YES OF COURSE IT'S MAGIC THAT THEY ATTRIBUTE TO A GOD, THANK YOU. I can't believe the amount of reactors that don't even think of this possibility. You're getting a like just for having said that.
That scene between Meera and Osha was about negotiation and Bran saying you are both great. ahhh the Greenseer How will that play out with the negotiations with the Night's King?
Love the got reactions and I appreciate all the work Blindwave puts into all of your content and the connection with the fans! I know you guys are busy but it would be so awesome if you could maybe consider reacting to Orphan Black it is such a well written and acted show it is totally your guys style of humour!! Anyways just a suggestion 😊
I listen to you guys at work and I kept checking to see if this video was up. It was perfect time for me to ride the rest if my shift out. Thank you guys for your time. I've recommended thus channel to a lot of people just for GOT alone. Going to hit patreon.com up when I get some more coins. Lol
You can tell that Calvin isn't quite feeling up to par yet...you all know our 25 lb heavier Calvin would've made the connection of "Bolton's Bastard" by now, he is THAT cunning of a detective. He's like the North... He remembers.
This just occurred to me, but what if the seasons in Westeros are so fucked up BECAUSE all that water and ice was taken away to build that wall? Hang on, brb googling....
Knowing what we, including Eric, know about what coming up in the next few episodes I can't help but laugh at how naive Calvin is now as a viewer and remember my own shock and disappointment. I hope they include the whole scene. I really don't know how Eric is managing to keep a straight face.
I don't know if I was too stupid or just tipsy while watching/ rewatching the series but I swear to god Eric picks up on so many details/ connections that I never even made. Like I just thought Ramsay was using the horn to be an annoying cunt (which he is, with the pyschopathic tendencies) but I completely forgot about the hornblower at Winterfell... man. I'm sure having read the books is also an added bonus. I'm still working on it 😅
The Game of Thrones page on blindwave.net says "Exclusive 1st videos. See it here before on UA-cam." The newest video it has is 2x10. I feel very lied to.
Hey guys , great channel i like what you're doing here, i'm just trying to help when i say the following: You say it "Rehlohr" typed how it should be heard, you kind of steered Kalvin into telling you he likes Roose Bolton, i think you should just ask questions and present facts and sometimes encourage Kalvin to ask you your view on certain stuff but always after he gives his 2 cents, i admit even i might be tempted to do the same, on the other hand i do agree with keeping the situation foggy and murky before episode 9, anyway it's only a suggestion you don't have to do what i say, and i can't force you to, obviously... but... [jedi mind trick] These are not the results you're looking for.
***** well maybe he needs to turn his because i can hear both just fine. once again it's not about the episode it's about their reaction.. if he wants to hear so bad he can go and find it and watch it AGAIN. if he wants to.
"If you think this has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention"
Line that defines the show
not anymore
Eric needs an award for his performance thus far lol
I love how they talked about Roose Bolton, given what's to come next week. When Calvin called Roose honorable, I was like, "wow, another character analysis he'll soon regret."
+Blind Wave Major props to you. I would give it away immediately!
+Blind Wave its hard to believe that he doesnt know about red weddings tho
+naivuolis Hopefully he won't read these comments and be spoiled by them. Watch your typing people.
+Blind Wave It was one of my absolute favorite parts of the discussion. Great job. I wouldn't have been able not to laugh or react at that. :D
I loved Littlefinger's monologue this episode
Eric: We know that he's loyal to Robb...Me: *stands up and claps* LET'S GIVE THIS MAN AN AWARD!!! I'm impressed Eric that you said that with a straight face. I can just imagine you practicing beforehand staring at yourself in the mirror. Nicely done. I am looking forward to see your other great performances c'x
28:55 "he is loyal to Robb" I actually laughed out loud :D
I had forgotten how great Littlefinger's speech was. Roz's brutal death by Joefrey cemented my hatred for the king and ended my hope that Margery might make him better. Surprised that Calvin did not guess the cross is the Bolton banner and realize that the horn blower outside Winterfell was Bolton's Bastard. Great review.
In eight days Calvin becomes One of us.
+Unconcerned Ursidae One of us, one of us, one of us, one of us...
Gooble Gobble Gooble Gobble...
Booga booga booga booga
noot noot noot noot
Calvin in this episode basically: "I like roose bolton. he's honorable"
me: *cries forever*
15:29 Probably my favourite speech along with my favourite musical piece in the whole show.
+Lauri Leppänen like when he thought Joffrey was a good person xD
+Lauri Leppänen He is not good at reading people.
td644 hahah definitely not. he has to learn to distrust people or will end up killed (?
To be fair, there is still quite a bit of misdirection about some characters like that at this point. Calvin picks up on some interestingly subtle things about characters, but falls for a lot of misdirection. :D
Chaos is a ladder
When i watch Games Of Thrones i always feel as if i'm watching Littlefinger & Varys are playing Chess against each other
Seriously appreciate you guys doing all four this week
I love Roose’s line talking to Jaime “I’d have thought you’d learned your lesson about over playing your.. position.” 😩😂 he wanted to say it so bad
Nicely done with diverting Calvin away from any suspicion regarding Roose - ''he's an honourable man'' Surprised you were unable to keep yourself laughing there
Melisandre saw green eyes in Ayra, the lannisters are the only ones in the books to be described with green eyes. Hype!
pls no hype
Thats the thing couldn't she use some other Lannister that already died?
Then I heard a theory about Season 7 when cersei and jaime were standing on the map. Something that symbolizes that jaime will kill cersei by chocking her; She was standing on the neck and he on the fingers. That Arya killed jaime then used him to get close to cersei and kill her.
EuropeDP tyrion
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
:(
Hello there! I'm Brazilian, and I just want to tell you guys that I'm training my english by watching you, and it's awesome, because it's so fun to learn when you are having fun!
Two more till the rains of Castamere !
+Thomas Alvarez 8 more days!
Calvin is pretty smart, looking forward to see if he twigs it when the Rains of Castamere starts to play....at least he gets the hand of the king badge.
hah, he's trying to avoid the Rhaegar and Lyanna thing
ahhhhhh, the red woman was seeing her change faces and killing people lmao thats pretty cool
"The Lysa Arryn of chairs"
Awww, no mention of what happened to Ros?
I came here agian after season 7×04 ... Bran : Chaos is a ladder ... 😉😁
Eyes that you'll shut forever. Never noticed that part but it fits for season 6 finale lol
I wish I had someone like Eric with me when I first watched Game of Thrones. It would mean I wouldn't have had to watch all of GoT 5 times over to get all the knowledge. But on the plus side, I got to watch GoT 5 times so it's all good 😊

"We know that he's loyal to Rob", do we Eric?
15:28 Littlefinger's other accent :D
the laddah
When you get to The Rains of Castamere, please take time to talk about Sam killing the white walker as well as the red wedding, as this is an important moment in the lore of Game of Thrones. Its also pretty epic and is a glimmer of light in the darkness.
Calvin looks just like Renly Baratheon!
+Malcolm Ferguson I told them that a few weeks ago lol
bullshit
I've been binging these because I recently re watched GoT. I really like them analyzing each episode, some things I've missed and some things I never understood even after re watching.
“Blue eyes... eyes you’ll shut forever...”
I am still surprised that Calvin did not link the "flayed man" and the cross with the Boltons. Our sweet summer child thinks Roose Bolton is an honorable man.. lol

Next week Calvin the shit will hit the fan... Lol
Oh, Calvin, you sweet, trusting fool. LOL He'll learn. ;-)
That scene between Meera and Osha was about negotiation and Bran saying you are both great. ahhh the Greenseer How will that play out with the negotiations with the Night's King?
discussion about roose Bolton sounded like the thing he teaches to his ward eventually.
This is my favourite reaction you guys do! You are my fav reactors
Waiting for this all day! Great reaction guys can't wait for Calvin to react to the Rains of Castamere episode it's going to be bloody!
Oh Calvin, my sweet summer child...
I like the fact that sentences become rly true in the new season (I'm talking about the sentence of Melissandre about Arya and all the eyes...)
“Chaosh ishn’t a pit, Chaosh ish a laddah”
Back when Littlefinger was still one of the best characters on the show.
Watching this series in 2017 waiting for episode 5 of season 7.
The wedding of the red approaches...
Soooo enjoying your videos! Glad Calvin is recuperating. btw, allow me to be a Stannis grammar nazi, EN-IG-MA-TIC. not enigmic. sorry. ocd. heh.
+LaDonna Louise Hahaha. I said the same thing to myself.
Rhaegar was never supposed to marry Cercei, that was something in Tywin's head that was instantly shot down by the mad king.
Chaos is a Ladder
I listen to you guys at work and I kept checking to see if this video was up. It was perfect time for me to ride the rest if my shift out. Thank you guys for your time. I've recommended thus channel to a lot of people just for GOT alone. Going to hit patreon.com up when I get some more coins. Lol
I am waiting for the foooking legend please don't skip that reaction. he is the legend of Jean Alley.
Those last few seconds kill me every time.
Feed my addiction!
The eyes Arya has closed:
Brown eyes - Merryn Trant
Blue eyes - Walder Frey/ The waif
Green eyes - ??
Sarcastic Abby Lannister
Brown eyes - Merryn Trant
Blue eyes - White walker
Green eyes - Lannister
Chaos isn't a pit.chaos is a ladder 😎

Thumbs up for Discworld discussion.
Calvin looks so cute in this video..
(Also don’t mind me, I just have a crush on him lmao)
7:21
Believe me, it can do one very important thing.
Boys, next weekend, the shit goes down!
7:22 was anyone else waiting for Eric to give us one of those looks when we know something that Calvin doesn't
"we know that Bolton is loyal to Robb." - i see you eric XD
CHAOSH IS A LADDAH! I love this episode!
It's funny how this episode is pretty much the only one that has a happy/pretty ending to it lol
Knowing what we, including Eric, know about what coming up in the next few episodes I can't help but laugh at how naive Calvin is now as a viewer and remember my own shock and disappointment. I hope they include the whole scene. I really don't know how Eric is managing to keep a straight face.
It's a shame you edited out Baelish's "Chaos is a Ladder" speech.
Thumbs up for Terry Pratchett reference :-)
Hi, will you continue the Sword art online abridged reactions? If you said something about it earlier I'm sorry for asking.
I want to see that sweet summer child be enlightened.... season 3 episode 9
Actually I think by "don't make me do it again" Cersei means not marrying, but killing her husband
3:39.. eric im dead
what meli said to Arya about different eyes makes so much sense after seeing season 6..
what is that [silver/gold?] book on the shelf behind you? it looks really neat
+Blind Wave cool! thank you!
11:44 George R. R. Martin, to _Game of Thrones_ fans...
And now Roose Bolton is Vladimir Putin. It can not be unseen
saving my night !!
Love these!!!!!!
I don't know if I was too stupid or just tipsy while watching/ rewatching the series but I swear to god Eric picks up on so many details/ connections that I never even made. No mention of Joffrey killing Ros?
Next week is going to break Calvin.
The Game of Thrones page on blindwave.net says "Exclusive 1st videos. See it here before on UA-cam." The newest video it has is 2x10. I feel very lied to.
"We know he's loyal to Robb..." Rude, Eric.

Tell me that Cal has watched Elf by now...
mad king said why would I marry my son to a servants daughter
Can you add subtitles or something? I can barely hear the show compared to your voices!!!
+Joe Randella watch the show on your own.
xxpatrickizradxxx I've seen all the episodes multiple times, sorry that i can't remember all the dialogue off by heart
Joe Randella this is a REACTION not the episodes. if you watched it already don't get pissed because the "sound is low" stop bitching
***** no he's trying to watch the episodes not the reactions. that's the whole point. i'm not being a dick at all. chill out
***** well maybe he needs to turn his because i can hear both just fine. once again it's not about the episode it's about their reaction.. if he wants to hear so bad he can go and find it and watch it AGAIN. if he wants to.
never been this early lol
enigmATic, not enigmic
When RWBY?
+Smiley When Broly?
damnit too early
lame Lothar Frey ftw
R'Hllor
For god's sake, I wish Calvin would just feel sorry for Theon.
discussion about roose Bolton sounded like the thing he teaches to his ward eventually.
