TheCreepingDeath1984 srsly, it’s insane
I jokingly guessed it when me and my family first watched it, and when the reveal happened I was like I KNEW IT
What necklace?
@@eriksantos418Sansa’s
"He's bleeding! He's gonna die!" 😂😂😂😂😂
8:47 "He is burning his brother-in-law?" - Oh Calvin . . .
sweet summer child...
Calvin is so damn observant, I did not notice those clues until the second watch. Seriously, he is really good at this.
I didn’t know what the fuck was going on in the first 2 seasons till my 3rd watch... Y’all are freakin geniuses

Freaking Calvin man! Too fucking smart, first person he points his finger at is Olenna, then Dontos and then the necklace. Before you guys start season 5, Clavin needs to make season 5 predictions. I wanna see how accurately can he guess the plot xD
Olenna had a motivation, when Sansa told her Joffrey was a monster. She is known to do whatever it takes to reach her goals, especially when that goal is protecting Margaery. At the very least she was a strong suspect. Also the show isnt really subtle in this, I mean having a seemingly pointless scene with a necklace just before the wedding seemed odd.
you wrote this one month ago... haven't you seen s7, which was already live at that point?
I have, you'll just have to trust me it was easy I guess.
Olenna also admitted it in a previous season, when talking to littlefinger in his brothel in kingslanding
but yeah, the look from olenna made her suspicious af
good to see Calvin all jolly. the red wedding took a lot out of him.
It was actually Sigur Ros not Jack Gleeson singing "The Rains of Castamere".. It's also Ilyn Payne not Ian Payne... Also, I have no friends
+Juan Domínguez That moment you realize you're correcting people too much and don't want to come off as a sweaty nerd. That was well played, dude. haha
+Juan Domínguez trueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee like they thye can see, like you u cry very time, reky 2k16 kemstar, world star, filthy frank, Kappa, lel, banter
Actually that was a gold nugget of information, I did not know that, no wonder this version sounds so gorgeous.
the band even briefly appears in the episode. joffrey is throwing gold coins at them.
And Ilyn Payne is played by Wilko Johnson from Doctor Feelgood.
Seriously, is Calvin the goddamn Batman? Those detective skills.
its almost like he watches the shows before reacting ...
No, he predicts shit all the time, not only in game of thrones, he's really sharp
@@AzguardMike you think everything is fake but some things in life are genuine, hope you've changed your outlook on things since you commented this
@@AzguardMike Stupid jealous people always assume people watch ahead because they are too stupid and they think everyone is as stupid as they are lol

"lol that bitch" - Calvin 2016
:'D
Who would've thought that season 1 Calvin would one day be laughing maniacally at the excruciating death of a child four seasons later.
Eric mentioning Rhagar and Lyanna. I love how he slips these clues in and Calvin has no idea.
Rhaegar* :)
+loriusable No, he actually talked about Rhaegar and Lyanna, not just R+L=J - at 3:31
I always found it interesting that Joffrey's named his sword Widows Wail and then his mum who is a widow screams like that. Just a small thing but a nice parallel I think
Bravo and brilliant! 👏🏽
It's also showing he's an idiot because Catelyn wasn't even there when Ned was executed.
"That bitch" OMG I can't stop laughing xD
'Why not? It's night, the fuck are you doing here?'
I replayed that a few times haha
Inspector Calvin spotted out all the fuckin clues.....hahaaa
9:25 Eric’s look at the camera after he says Stannis has “a line” 😂😂😂
Bro, Calvin's reaction to Joffrey's death was fuckin awesome lololol!!!
It's at the point now, that when season 6 starts and Calvin's watching along with us, I'm coming here first, after each episode, so I can hear what he thinks is going on. Because none of us will know anymore and that son-of-a-bitch will probably be right
I'm going to refer to him for now on as The Pale Prognosticator of Ohio.....that's a little long. How about, The Great Bearded Green See-er of UA-cam....shit, that's even longer.......Ummm...OH!! Calvin the Wise. Yeah, that's the ticket
+Trav _ How about...Hodor?
Detective Calvin is already what everyone calls him.
Jose Ayala Yeah well, I'm not everyone.....I'm no one
+Trav _ I like the Great Bearded Greenseer of UA-cam, personally.
To become no one, you must become everyone!
"That bitch! *Sigh* I feel bad for Jaime."
basically the lannister house words.
Now calvin's ready for Got the musical.
I like how Stannis is all protective about Shireen here...
Yh befiore he slaughtered her
@@lxfj2128 yea before he let her be burned before losing the battle as well as his life 😒😒
Blame D&D for that. Book Stannis is the Mannis for a reason
It's a necklace tho... Hahahahaha DAMNIT CALVIN
The way Calvin laughed at Joffrey's death is funny as hell.
Calvin is like our very own Sherlock Holmes.
Calvin’s reaction when Joffrey died 😂😂😂 that was hilarious
I think the thing with the books is that many of the characters are much younger than they are portrayed on the show, Joffrey is just a boy, a spoiled vicious boy but still just a child and that elicits a different kind of reaction than seeing Jack Gleeson who may look 16 to 18 but is in his early 20s ultimately in real life - how we see these characters physically informs how we react - if Joffrey had been played by an actual 12 year old actor, our reactions watching the show could have easily been the way it feels in the books of that moment of a scared boy dying in his mother's arms --- it's kinda goes both ways really, this age change between book and show highlights certain things in different ways. There is a certain kind of effect that is lost through this age-up, whereas we forget that in the books, Jon and Robb are 14, Robb is leading an army at 14 and Jon is out in the wild at 14 - the characters we see on screen look much older so our perception of them isn't as poignant or drastic as in the books - imagine seeing a 14 year old looking Robb leading an army, it would dramatically change our perception of how things are and how we expect characters to act
I'm glad that they are older in the show than the books. Especially Dany who was 13 or 14 when marrying Khal Drogo. That's purely unsettling
But there is also maturity different to consider between the worlds and time. Like their 14 and 12 year old is not the same as 14 or 12 in our world.
@@isaactheworshipwarrior6687 me too. I do also think that aging up the characters made it easier for casting people in these roles. Which I think was good because I don’t think you could’ve gotten a better cast for this show with maybe one exception. The late Christopher Lee as Tywin Lannister. Now don’t get me Charles Dance was excellent in the role but part of me is curious how Christopher Lee would’ve been in the role, especially since if he did work on the show he would’ve been still alive until after season 4 was finished.
@@isaactheworshipwarrior6687 That's literally the point dude, forcing children/young teens into positions they shouldn't have to be in and their struggles that result due to their burdens.
I think Braavos is actually the only Free City found by the former slaves of Valyria. The other ones are former Valyrian colonies. And IIRC all of the nine Free Cities were first built before Doom of Valyria, Volantis being the oldest of them.
And still during the era of the books and the show Braavos is the only one of these cities that has no slavery.
+Navy Seel yeah pretty sure you are correct
Wow, I'm enjoying this reaction series nearly as much as the show itself. Calvin is just the perfect first time viewer. All hail his mad detective skills!
Now it is getting to the point where the real fun of these videos is less about his reactions, and more about watching his deductive process in figuring out points about characters and the plot and such.
15:10 the most joyful smile I've ever seen
I've said this multiple times before, but Calvin is a goddamn genius at this show. I'm consistently amazed at how well he retains the copious amounts of information on this show, but even more so in the way he figures things out. Great work guys
The song in the credits isn't Jack Gleeson unfortunately , it's sigur ros who also made a cameo in the episode(they were the band Joffrey threw the money at) awesome reaction guys :) I wonder if Calvin is going to like littlefinger again this season ;p
I just watched this nigga guess everything. Calvin is a f-ing magician !
Fun fact, I once volunteered at my local convention where Jack Gleeson was a guest and had to help with his line. I was so worried that fans wouldn't separate Joffery from him but fortunately no blood was spilled that day.
I've watched many reaction channels on GoT but Calvin's reaction on Joffrey dying is still my favourite, pure joy hahaha
Years later and I still love seeing Calvin laughing and saying “that bitch!”
So is everyone just gonna ignore what Eric said? Assassin's Creed in kings landing as a faceless man sounds amazing
Ah, the purple wedding! The 2nd most lovely wedding in the show!
I enjoyed seeing Calvin having a good laugh about Joffrey´s death. xD The funniest death in the show.
"The Most Dangerous Game" by Richard Connell; regarding the story of letting humans loose and hunting them.
_Mother holding her dying son in her arms_
Calvin: HA, THAT BITCH!!
"That bitch" hahaha Calvin is the best omg
Stannis has a line...really Eric...really.
+MrMyster1ous Well he did... then he pole vaulted over it.
+MrMyster1ous Apparently is Eric who doesn't have a line!
I love that Calvin picked up the same stuff I did on first watch. It’s also something to be said that they payed for the majority of the wedding and the rains of castamere was going to be played by their Minstrels.
Here I am in 2023 watching these fantastic reactions to one of my all time favorite shows and loving it! Also here to share a joke I read about this episode from someone in a comment section who’s name I sadly can’t remember. “Robert Baratheon: Black of hair. Joffrey Baratheon: Lack of air.” 😂 So glad to see Calvin laughing again after the emotional gut punch that was The Red Wedding episode.
Calvin nailed it
15:30 if Joy was a face Calvin is that face
"He has a line." [looks to the camera like he's on the office]
I actually forgot this was the episode. Came as a surprise to both me and Calvin. Haha
Kid you not, immediately after this episode ended, my friend and I dropped everything and went out to buy a cake. We had Purple Wedding written on it with purple icing and threw a massive party. Best cake I've ever eaten!

This episode is the reward for sitting through the Red Wedding
It's not "Joffrey" singing the song at the end. It's Sigur Ros' cover of Rains of Castamere
I just saw Calvins reaction to red wedding... Now, this manic laugh. Satisfying.
I'm in the army and I stayed awake till 5 in the morning waiting for this video. Fell asleep before it came out, needless to say I am tired as hell now but it was worth the wait..
Sigur Ros sang the credit song not Jack Gleeson. :)
No that is not Jack Gleason singing it is the band Sigur ros who cameo'd in the episode.
I thought he meant that the intention is that it's Joffrey singing, not that the actor is the actual singer. :)
Idk if this makes me a terrible person but I was full on LAUGHING and Cackling when Joffrey died😂😂
You guys are the best. It really is such a satisfying feeling to watch this episode. And especially to see Calvin in way better spirits!
Wilko Johnson (who played Ser Ilyn Payne) got cured of cancer since 2014. Good for him. 🙂
This is the most vocal Calvin has ever been in GOT, I love it!
@6:26: I think you're thinking of "The Most Dangerous Game" ? the short story by Richard Connell 🙂 did we *all* have to read that for English class? 😆
Everytime i see joffrey’s poisoned face i fucking bust out laughing soo hard 🤣🤣
lol when melisandra says "were you sleeping princess?" calvin's emphasis on 'fuck' in "why not its night, what the FUCK are you doing here?" you can just hear the dark side manifesting hahahaha, classic.
omg I just got to where joffrey eats it and calvin's joy only further proves his sway to the darkside. The joy and laughter is so Mr. Burns to me.
"You're not the Queen anymore -" "BITCH! Is that the word you were looking for??" I had to pause im crying.
Calvin's mad laugh really got to me. c'x He looks so happy.
I haven't read the books, but the description of Joffrey's death you said is shown in them is exactly what I felt watching the episode: a young boy dying an agonizing death in his mother's arms. Even my son said, as much as he hated Joffrey, his death was definitely shocking. We both wanted it to happen, but the moment itself feels painful from a mother's point of view. I'm actually surprised you feel sorry only for Jaime!
"He has a line"
...that look at the camera
In the books, an amulet that Ser Dantos gave her is assumed to be laced with a crystalline poison, something Petyr is all to happy to explain.
Pretty sure the one singing at the end was Jonsi of Sigur Ros (great band). He was the one who was singing at the ceremony and Joffrey tossed the coins at.
Did Calvin just give a lesson on the commutative property of addition at the end?? Nicely done.
Take the red, add some blue to it, and it makes a wedding feel much better. :)
As a salve, I found that the Purple Wedding works to some degree for pain relief, but does not prevent scarring.
Ive just been kinda binge watching these, great fun to watch new people getting into GoT! Keep it up guys, this series is awesome!
I don't think I've ever seen Calvin as happy as he was while watching that final scene
Glad to see Calvin's joy!
my beart broke when he said "i dont think stannis would burn someone for no reason"
Darn it, Calvin! the detective has come back indeed! the sun is shinning again! XD
Eric, he almost got everything right! I was like :O this motherf*** lol!
Do u think he will get it before it is revealed? he almost nailed it! :D
This episode is framed as a ‘Happy Ever after’ for Joffery (Soz for bad spelling) as he has *Won the War and Married to a daughter of Highgarden* .
That poisoning was just GOT showing that once again, *No One Is Safe*
Calvin’s reaction is exactly how I reacted watching this episode XD
As soon as I watched the title...... "It's here."
The thing I love about Ramsey's actor (Iwan Rheon I think?) is that I knew him first from the UK show Misfits, where he's a good guy and is misunderstood and is the weird outcast one, so I know him as a completely different character. So then I come into GoT and he's a complete bastard (excuse the pun). I've never hated an actor that I previously adored more than Iwan and I find that amazing, his acting ability is brilliant
Oh, Calvin! Your belly laugh at his death is awesome!
When you were talking about what it's called when hunting humans its called "The Most Dangerous Game" also there is a book named this and is really where it came from I think
Detective Calvin strikes again. Eric was impressed with the eye brow raise.
The actors who you particularly praised this episode, the guys who play Joffrey and Ramsay, are both going to be appearing at Indiana Comic-Con the end of April. I'm totally going.
Holy crap, Detective Calvin is at it again! He's good at this
I will never understand why jaime loves cersei, or why tyrion doesn't out his siblings
Chris Koloski Family is a fickle bitch.
Jamie felt like cersai is a part of him he had since birth, he cared about her more than anyone for a long long time. Tyrion didn't out them because Jamie was the only one to ever show him any affection, so he kept his secrets.
At this point in the show everyone knows about Jaime and Cersei anyways. Even Locke was taunting him about it when the Boltons had Jamie as a prisoner.
Considering they cut Arianne and have made no mention of Dornish succession laws/tradition, I don't think the whole "women can inherit in Dorne" thing is the case in the show.
Also I think "Free Cities" just means "independent city states", like cities in Italy and Germany in the middle ages into the Renaissance. Braavos was the only one founded by slaves.
(Pauses video at the end of the reaction to say) After seeing Calvin's reaction to Jeoffrey's well deserved and long awaited death, seeing his child like delight which was so similar to my own at this scene, I feel that I can say he has fully recovered from 3x09, lol. I never cheered so loudly and boisterously at the death of a character before. Great reaction (now unpauses video for the video for post reaction discussion)
28:50 THAT LOOK ERIC! DAMMIT you misleading the poor summer child again XD
Lol. Only 3 years late to your video's, and for some reason it started by suggesting 3 × 9.. Made it to here and I have to say... This was my happiest moment in Got!!!!! Seeing as how all other happy moments were pretty much taken away and destroyed.. Lol . I was honestly in shock.. I did not believe that we could possibly be about to receive that satisfaction and sense of justice for Ned!! Ahhh!!! I was so Happy... lol
Oh thank god this came out, I had nothing to watch after work.
EVERYONE is always happy to see the end of this episode 🤣🤣🤣
Calvin laugh at Geoffrey's death was outstanding!!
Also, the more times I watch GoT, the more theories I come up with. this time I started to wonder, since it is revealed that this entire series of events happened because of little finger.... was he behind the mad king as well? maybe whispering in his ear about how this person or that person said whatever would make him get paranoid and nuts?
+MasterfulPaladin That would be Varys. Littlefinger had no influence in King's Landing politics during that time, he was still a young boy who lived with the Tullys.
No, Littlefinger was still a child at the time of the Mad King's reign. Varys and Pycelle, on the other hand, were on the Mad King's small council, and they were both manipulating him, albeit for different ends.
I came to watch this video after the red wedding reaction. It's a good yin-yang
Calvin's belly laugh was one of the greatest.things.ever. lol
Calvin is going to be pissed when he finds out the fate of the red viper by the end of the season
Like I'm screaming, lol. "That b!tch!....I can't believe this b!tch." "I know Calvin." I'm hollering.
Calvin is so funny *lol* “that bitch” *lol* that was literally me when this happened
The purple wedding gave me joy.
