As a veteran of 4 years, I can’t believe that they did a PC port. Back then I said that no way that a PC port would come and here we are, in 2024 with a Sky PC port. I’m gona sink so much hours into this game again XD

I love Sky! I started playing it during lockdown and it helped me a lot to go through that period of time. I’ve also found a few new friends through it and even to this day we keep in touch and talk to each other very often irl
Most of the time it feels like I'm the only introvert on Earth but thanks to you 5:03 I know that I'm not alone in being an introvert in an extroverted world. I can more than relate to what you are saying but for me I do enjoy multi player in certain games especially when you can only respond in premade responses like what Mario Kart 8 does as I'm not interested in talking trash to others but with sky you communicate through gestures and that's one great way to make socializing cozy.
Yes!! I’ve been playing sky for 2 years now, and the way you felt in the beginning is 100% intentional. I loved the feeling of exploring and just doing my own thing 🥹 Sky is a very open ended game, which some people love and some don’t. But I definitely would encourage others to give this game a try :3
Thanks for the video, Josh. I may be the only one, but I find both Octopath Traveler games cozy. It’s probably because I enjoy them so much, and I feel comfortable now with the game play. I’ve never played Sky Children of Light, but since it’s free, I should check it out on Switch. Thanks again!
I've been playing on and off since 2022. Every month there is some kind of new event such as March is Days of Bloom and April should be Days of Nature I think. Seasons tend to be a bit more than two months and then a two week gap before a new one. I really like Eye of Eden and the idea of rebirthing. Glad this game is out on Steam so I can play on my Deck, it does lag a bit on Switch. It's a cute lil mmo and the only thing I don't like is that certain places reqire other players and sometimes the server doesn't merge so you could be stuck. I'd say the only scary part is the krills but those can be avoided once you figure out the patterns and restarting/turning off the screen will help too. Graphics are so beautiful though they did hurt my eyes for a while haha. The next season starts on Monday and it's a housing season so I'll pass since I really only like the cosmetics in this game, not interested in building a house that's going to feel extremely limited for a while haha
Considering this is the same dev company that made Journey and Flower, I feel like "relaxing" is kind of their specialty, haha. I'm really enjoying it so far! I had no idea you could translate messages automatically. That's really useful! It definitely makes me feel less awkward about potentially interacting with people, because I'm normally on very early in the morning, when I imagine most people in my region would be at work already.
I love how cozy this game is like when i am drinking tea with the krill in the golden wasteland, and taking a stroll with friends in eden, admiring the showering red shards, and thoughtfully placed sky kid statues

i played this game since 2020 of august and it's been my comfort game since. totally recommend it
