Hey Man just Subbed you have great Taste in Music 👌 could you please do some Happy Mondays from the Squirrel and G Man album 🙏 you do some knock out Bass covers 🔥👌✌️
It was recorded quite some time ago so hard to remember exactly. I wrote the pedals down in the video description. From what I remember there was a small amount of chorus but it was mainly grit from tube drive effects, plus the Stingray sound of course. Steve is like a 3rd guitar in Ride so he has a lot of mids and treble in the mix as well as the bass.
True, the bass is a lot higher in my mix. It's all there in the original and the embellishments correspond to nuanses in the vocal, guitar and drum lines. IMO it's bass playing at its best, enhancing the song un-noticed.
great bass line , great bassist you are 🤟
I think I've watched this cover 50x! The cover is phenomenal and that Stingray.... both incredible!
Thanks!
7:19 I always like this path because reminds me of Hoppers bassline in Soft Machine "Slightly all the time"!
going to see them in September .... Going Blank Again is one of my favourite albums (yeah!) so hope they play some of that :)
Great cover, I knew the basics and thought I found couple of the variations, but this will help greatly in improving my playing! Thanks for the tabs
Spot on !
There's definitely the Stingray signature sound in here !!
Very cool song, and you play the bass so well. :)
This is brilliant! Subscribed 😎👍
oh also.. fkn great to see the bass cover... i was always 20 years ago more focussed on the guitars ... :)

@@SamHutchinsonBass thank you!
Amazing ! you have the exact sound; what pedals did you use for this one ?

dude is a terminator
:)
sam can you send me the tab for ride leave them all behind every note you are playing is spot on
Yeah, it took a long time to transcribe all the details! Worth it though.
Nice but perhaps too many notes?
It's pretty much exactly as it is on the record! If anything, Steve Q's faster than me so played more notes.
@@SamHutchinsonBass I don’t hear it on the actual track to be honest. Maybe they mixed him down! I just hear the pulse and not the embellishments
