Since the ADILS legs are not in stock anywhere I actually bought the Thyge frame and did this very same thing earlier today. I am not sure how well this will last, though. It seems that the sleeves will not hold well over time. But for now it's stable and working great. 🙂

First, just twist the bottom portion of the leg counter-clockwise until it becomes loose, then adjust to where you’d like it and twist it clockwise until it clicks into place

Yes, you can use the cheap IKEA ADILS legs with the LINNMON table top. Well, at least you could if they were in stock anywhere.

There is no hack, u just build like intended
LINNMON table top is not for this table stand.
@@learnshare Were you able to order they Thyge legs by themselves, or did you have to purchase the entire Thyge table setup?
@@Splishsplashin you can by anything seperate when you shop at IKEA, so yeah you can buy the Frame and the Table Top on their own
