    We need someone to be making peel apart film, again. Someone willing to make it on a commercial basis. Otherwise, once all this old film stock runs out, that's it.

      Honestly I’m surprised there isn’t a diy way to make this stuff.
      Ilford 9x12 black and white film fits perfectly into an FP-100C cartridge. And most land cameras can select ISO 150 which is pretty close to Ilford’s 125 iso film.
      The way they get a print onto that paper, and to store the chemicals in the pods seem like a very difficult thing to do. But again I could see it being possible to recreate by amateur photographers if someone was willing to create a recipe and give us a step by step guide.

But not because we finally want to purchase this kinky car we have been dreaming of, but because it is truly really expensive to produce it. These seen-everything-under-the-sun stage performers found the large Polaroid prints a hit! As for me, I'd welcome a chance to use Ye Olde Polaroid 110B-adapted-to-take-Pack-Film camera again.;)

    • @supersense695
      @supersense695 4 роки тому +1

      Yap, it is hard to figure out new ways and new concepts :)
      In the pakfilm case we had to do so because it was impossible to get access to the packfilm production machines by Fuji (despite all efforts which you can re-read here, if you're interested: the.supersense.com/blogs/news/tagged/savepackfilm?page=2 )
      In the Polaroid case, documentation would not have been the problem, but updated environment and health restrictions that made the further usage of original recipe components impossible...
      ... but up until now, we've luckily always found ways for successful resurrection :)

  • @paulgreen6903
    @paulgreen6903 4 роки тому

    Are there 8 exposures in your new system? In the old days, we HAD TO CLEAN the rollers.....every time we finished a pack. The chemicals would leak out on both sides of the rollers.If you did nt clean the rolls, all the time, the chemicals would become CAKE hard, and you would not get an even run/pull. Remember the battery for your camera is almost imposable to get. Look for the Polaroid model...195. It has a ZEISS RANGE FINDER, and used s the TOMIKA lens. It also works WITH OUT A BATTER, as it is a LEAF SHUTTER.

      fuji stopped production in 2016 but the stuff is still in cirkulation. supersense is for now using old frozen polaroid p7 stock from polaroid (from the 20x24 studio). as i understand it the will be trying to make their own stock ala new55. also it seems that the new55 and the supersense websites have merged so i guess they are aware of each other

    I'm worried about stock running out. Hopefully these lads would help find a solution before the time comes!

      The P7 ONE INSTANT edition is just the very first material we plan to load our new paper cartridges with. For the future, we have several super promising potential partners who will supply us with breathtaking photo-sensitive materials.
