Hi Karen, We have a piece of filter under the vent to catch any dust that rises up that far. We do find the scupper works if you block a few other points off. So we put contact over the vent at the bottom of the door whilst traveling and because we have a compressor fridge we block the lower vent off. We still get a very small amount of dust at 2 points on the floor but not enough to worry about. Think we get more when we open the Windows in a campground 😂

Hi Alan. Highly recommend a stone stomper. We dropped our Tyre pressure and drove to the conditions. Cover any exposed pipes under the van with pool noodles. Check out our episode on the external walk around of the van too. Might give you some more tips. Cheers 🍻

Mt Augustus is a bigger monolith than Uluru but it doesn't get the accolades because of its location and being covered in scrub.
You are spot on Gerard. The trouble is the days drive on dirt roads to get out to the area would turn a lot of people away. But it is spectacular 👍
