- After bigger projects I need to wind down a bit. Bigger projects are often followed by smaller and sillier ones just for fun. I hope you don't mind :)
Smaller projects with some kind of set building will also be followed by a "Making of" video. What are your thoughts on that? MUCH LOVE!

One thing I always wonder is do you ever have to scrap hours of work because something in the animation got messed up and you can't redo it? Or do you have so much practice that you know exactly how it's going to look?
Practice definitely helps, and I'm pretty straight on when doing something goofy and improvised like this one. I wasn't quite happy with some parts of this animation, but just went with it instead.
More serious animations I can scrap days and even weeks of work just to get what I want!!
@@Guldies Wow, that's something to admire!!
@@Guldies How long have you been doing claymation?
❤🎉😢😮😅😊
@@Guldies that is so impressive! Your video lifts my mood after getting my exam results. Respect
I always love to see the Behind the Scenes of stop-motion animation, so more "Making Of" videos from you sounds great to me! And, as always, it's so fun to see you make the sounds effects for these. Thanks for showing us the magic behind Wizard Boi's magic!
They inspired me and honestly it’s such a vibe to watch how the animations are made!
The joy and jaw-dropping awe I get from watching the process is more enjoyable than the finished result. Because it really puts into perspective the insane amount of dedication and work that goes into something.
Watching how they made scenes in Kubo, Coraline, and Box Trolls will leave you astonished at the insane ingenuity and creativity they all have at Laika. Watching an artist like Neytirix make a drawing from start to finish will show how much time and dedication she's put in.
In short, I love watching this as a whole and your work!
So happy to hear! And I love making these kind of videos. It's good practice since I'm pretty bad at filming my process
@@Guldiesyes, you really did it very well 🎉
I could watch these animations for ever. They are so amazing and even the skills to make the set and character are great.
Amazing work! More of these "Making Of" please. Such interesting to see how you work to make your animation to live. Very inspiring too
Stop motion is such a beautiful craft but every time I see something like this I think of Ben from Parks & Rec and how "well" he's doing with his life when making his stop motion.
An 11 minute behind the scenes for a 14 second video. Seems about right
And days for actual making of *
I was worried that you would never do behide the scene of BOI anymore!! Glad you uploaded this :D
I am glad he did too!
The best thong after the animation itself are your boy sounds, so cute! And I love the way that you use random objects to get the other sounds
Phenomenal work as always, the amount of time and hard work you put into these is incredible. Keep to your passions and be awesome!
OMG, How do you even do this! I make stop motion too, but they are never as good as this!!! Wowza! I hope you will make more videos like this!!!
I wish I was this talented at stop motion this is excellent and wonderful please keep making great stop motions like this
100% honesty here, I adore all the work that you do - from the more abstract stuff like MITOSIS and EUPHORIA to the Trolli shorts and your delightful lil [___] Boi shorts. Seeing the process, as well, kinda brings home how incredible the art form of claymation is, so thank you for sharing the process vids like this too. (Also the faces you make when you're doing Wizard Boi's vocal effects are AWESOME)
Such a thoughtful comment. Thank you so much. I never want to get stuck doing one thing, and having all of this support for whatever I wanna try out feels magical. Means a lot reading this!
After watching the video in its entirety, your dedication to the craft is awe inspiring. I thoroughly enjoy every video you upload! Please, keep them coming, but only at a pace you can sustain!
Thank you :)
It must take some incredibily gentle, careful fingers to do the work you do. Good job!
You’re right, ‘cause doing a Stop Motion takes a lot of time. 💪😤
I love the way you make your animations! And just to think it started out just a little test to se how it'd go! Keep up the great work and have an *amazing* day! :D
I love it! I’m definitely looking forward to more Wizard Boi clips now that you’ve done the hard work of building the set and props!
I’ve wished that you’d do some recurring versions of Boi… Ninja and Wizard are my favorites! Haha
I think you take a lot of time doing this amazing stop motion animations 😃👏
Also the effects sounds and voice
Everybody gangsta until you bump the camera
I loved this so much! It was really enjoyable seeing the process! I will try Stop Motion again in the future!! And can’t wait to make something funny like this!
I love seeing these behind the scenes stuff. Your work is great!
How does this only have 51K views?! Thank you so much for making this, it really gives insight into the incredible amount of work that goes into even a 14 second animation of yours, and it's massively educational for anyone who'd want to go into this line of work/hobby (:
It's been a hundred days since I last clicked that "Like" button.
It has now been zero days since I last clicked that "Like" button.
i'm gonna say it in 2 words, good, job 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯👏👏👏👏
Ótimo trabalho 👏 sucesso aí irmão 🤜🤛
I love your content, thank you for all the time and effort you put into your art, also I have a question: why don’t you make the metal stands that you use to prop your clay models up with green? Wouldn’t that be easier to edit out afterwards than to keep it metallic grey?
Hi and thank you so much! Great question. Using green tape/whatever to make it easier to edit can be a great tool. But it isn't perfect. I would still feel the need to go in frame by frame and perfect it, since chroma keying almost always leaves some residue in these circumstances. I would still need to touch up shadows and stuff as well. In my case it's easier to skip the green stuff. BUT for top down animation it works great with green/blue screen!!
lol that sound effect making part . The dedication to make those silly noises 😂
Beautiful!👌👏👍
The production value of your stuff never ceases to amaze! One of the best things on youtube.
Finally! 😁 Awesome 😃 i love Your incredible work 😍
So cool and inspiring ✊
I love your animations!!
When I see how you make these bricks in wall in 1:22, I feel: I need to give him a like!
You added a little detain on the clay boy and I like it 👍
Espectacular!
Awesome as always
Thanks for making of Boi
Great work!
Interesting, i thought you did all the animation at once but for example the candles fires you animated later after you did the Boi animations
Always the best quality
All the work that goes into just that short clip is beyond me.
I love these :D
Always great entertainment!
its so much cooler watching the anmations now that you know how hard it is to make them
What a clever use of a pasta machine.
Nice! Godd job!🔥
So cool to see how you make the sound effects
Awesome!
Great video 👍❤
One of a kind
Guldies deserves an award.
Yaas we love wizard boi
9:45 hahaha I love these sounds
We love wizard boi
Wow wow
How do you make the blurry/out of focus effect? It looks really cool.
Gaussian blur in Premiere haha, super easy trick with some key framing!
@@Guldies Wow, what kind of clay do you use? Sorry for all the comments, I just wonder how you do this!
Awesomely done as always keep it up, but do try to give him a win for once lol
7:32 stop it, that's too cute
просто, ну как можно снимать такие шикарные стопики?! 🥺❤️
Я ДАЖЕ С ТУТОРИАЛОМ НЕ ПОНИМАЮ 🤧😭😭😭
All of this just for 14 secs of video, u deserve more than just 100k views. Thanks for this, u are doing master pieces
Wow the animation is always so smooth and clean. Do you have a preferred frame rate for your projects like this?
Its so hard i love how you made teach me like you
You're amazing
Great video making of!
To rewatch the full animation: 10:47
I’m always thinking about the animation, I forget that you actually build and sculpt environments. Your work has a lot that goes unnoticed or under-appreciated.
It was great
thank you for sharing your behind the scene process, what kind of clay are you using ?
Sooo gooood
with no rig is crazy😮
I'm Latin American XD thanks guldies this video helped me in my class that was related to stop motion it served me as an example 😅
I truly believe that clay boi is a distant relative of a frog name José.
What utilities do you use for the stop motion technique? Are there any applications you can recommend for mobile devices other than PC?
What adjustable stabilizer do you use for this video? Please tell me so I can use it for my videos.
😍😍😍😍
if you guys dont understand what the creator is doing? he is just recording some sounds for his animaton 9:26
Love
I always laugh at the sound design part
Pregunta, para cada animación haces un personaje nuevo, o tienes algunos ya hechos y solo los tomas para animarlos?
also how did you remove the metal arm thingy?? like when you make the final edits and stuff how did you remove it??
Same question, i wonder how he is so talented
How long did it took for you to make this
i know this is not in the video but how do people make the music like this you have ?? is it like a thing you find or do you actually make it with something??
What app is this?
So cool to see your BTS !!!! Did you shoot in 12 or 24 fps? and how long did it take ?
How do you make your characters
Edit: I meant to say what clay do you use to make your characters
supa cool
The efforts are only of og guldies
great job! I love animation stop motion, do you know where can I learn how to do it? I find some youtube videos but I do not find what I need, would be nice if you have a course
That's voices 😂😂
Hi .. how you delete the the metal part that hang the character??? Amazing!!
5:15 this here might be the most vital part of the making of the video
Wizard boi!!
All of this work for a 14 second clip. Goddamn , I could never 😂
how did you make the smoke effect for the spell ?
It's a dream...
What kind of clay do you use for the puppet ?
I love how the butt is made separately hahaha
What kind of clay do you use?
Guldies is my hero.
What was the framerate of the original video?
how do you remove the arm thing he is stuck on in editing? is it a lot of work? and how do you add the candle flames behind him?
did you reuse any trees from mitosis for the background?
