    Thank you Steve. I have pledged for the new prompter. I remember your original review and liked it then. Plus, I have followed you since the early days when you had less wrinkles (me too), so I think it is safe to say that you are a trusted source of information! I have been without a teleprompter and have felt on numerous occasions that they would be perhaps useful. I have enough bulky items and I think that this one would be small enough that I would actually use it.

    This lead me to believe that the product was pretty much ready to ship. Here we are on Octobers door and this product has not shipped. i ordered based on your recommendation. @@rippleguys yes great. i don’t know Josh but i do trust you and your judgement and you vouched for that company. I am sure they make a great product, but “summer shipping” has turned to ???? And while i understand that people have problems when they gather a ton of money in advance to produce a product they should already have a lot of experience creating i have to say this was “oversold” and as it as it might eventually be, the thing gets tarnished by lack of communication, excuses and false claims.

      @skymakai Рік тому

      @@rippleguys Hmmm... with a wide lens and an iPad mini on the tray, it would not be visible? I know with just about every teleprompter using a wide lens, the screen needs to be dropped a bit to not show up in the frame.

      @@skymakai I have not tried it with an iPad. I feel it kinda defeats the purpose of why this thing is so cool - works great with the phone, and to confirm, you cannot see it at 24mm - though that may be true with the iPad mini (the regular ipad is too heavy for this unit). Also, the tray is already at a slight angle for the exact purpose you stated

    And believe me. I personally have nothing against Ripple training. But I invested because you stuck your neck out. I don’t know Josh, but i do enjoy and trust your brand. When you endorsed this, I trusted your endorsement. I know there is not much you can do, but updating this video, or honestly letting people know what happened with the company and the kickstarter, you so glowing promoted just a short while ago. I am glad you appreciate the product and the demo unit, but would you still endorse it now?

    • @rippleguys
      @rippleguys  Рік тому +1

      I operated in good faith. I did the video knowing that the company has been solid and has delivered quality products in the past. My review of the product was genuine and I use the pre-production unit they sent me almost every week. It is unfortunate that the company has not been able to keep its commitment. I will reach out to Josh, and inform him that I will most likely be taking down the video. The reviews on the shipping product on B & H echo what you experienced, and if I had foresight, I would not have endorsed the product.
