There is such a thing as a "Grim Reapers DCS International Film Festival - Ed.2021" ? o_O Nice that the F-16C countermeasure file was changed, it looks so much better with rapid flare ejection :) Great story!!! Did HOBBS fly the F-16 or MiG-29?

Actual best part of the movie is the loop at te end, foreshadowing the eternal cycle of flight getting downed, nearby one getting rerouted to assist by AWACS, losing contact, shooting down the MiG which comes back, getting shot down and AWACS rerouting next flight for the same fate. Absolutely amazing, better than 90% of movies in cinema
There is a movie with the same plot..'The Wall'.
This needs the full cinematic treatment. Awesome short film. The ominous music really gave it a dark, foreboding touch. The story reminded me (in a small way) about the legendary tale of the Flying Dutchman----a 17th century sailing vessel that was cursed to never be able to make port for eternity, and which also meant very bad news for anyone who encountered it. This is almost like the 21st century version of THAT ghost story. Very well done. Enjoyed it immensely.
Yeah exactly. It would be so awesome if there was a full-on horror themed movie based around this. It would be so cool.

hollywood films are mostly the same, except for some which has completely different theme
Loll I'm not afraid to say you're right with that tbh, hollywood movies especially with aircraft usually suck.
The aircraft models in movies are very low poly models whereas these are fully detailed models and on top of that these are not animations, its an in game video. On top of all that let me tell you this, DCS needs a really beefy PC to run.
I believe the new top gun movie will be shot in real jets.

right? I got goosebumps when that MiG29 appeared out of nowhere at 4 0'clock level.

Mr. Ferré, congratulations. Great job. As a 3d graphics maker I can see your great efforts in show details. Wings bendings according applied forces, reflections, light management, music, different smoke densities and shapes, a remarkable cameras management and a really nice edition. People who has no idea of this only will see a simple dogfight but there's no doubt that is a high detailed massive work for a single person or even for a non 3d hitech pro team. Is important to mention that sometimes this kind of stories can be supported with real life segments. Al activity in cockpit could be shooted with a green screen and this film could be almost perfect (I feel i so robotic and I know that U know). However your film is awesome my friend and there is a brilliant future for you. Many people can operate a 3d software but having sensibility, care on details, discipline ,skills and true talent only few. Thath's why you won that festival. Congrats again Mr. Ferré
This was all recorded using a game called DCS world. It is well choreographed and filmed but the author is not responsible for the modeling

Wonderful work, in less than 5 minutes you managed to bring me the feeling of fear! First, a fighter that cannot be destroyed, no matter bullets, missiles, nothing is capable of taking it down, second, the way it manages to create an electromagnetic field powerful enough to interfere with any military communication signal! Third, we don't know who the pilot is or his motivations, this point is wonderful for me, remembering the first Steve Spielberg movie where he doesn't show he's the truck driver, you don't show who the MIG pilot is! It's not necessary, with that, you don't humanize the MIG pilot you turn him into a monster like Shark, The Thing, the Killer Bubble, among other fantastic horror monsters! congratulations on the hard work but very well done!

I'm no expert, but the communications (comms) dialogue is a little unrealistic to my mind, both in composition and delivery.
