    02:38 Build (Amplitude is pointless don't use it lol)

    A fun (if sometimes slightly frustrating) Havoc Form skill loop build. There are a lot of small nuances to maximizing the output of this skill, so there will be an in-depth discussion of each and every decision point for gear and more below. Overall, nothing crazy here - this has been a fun gimmick build since the game came out.
    === Overall Flow and Play Pattern ===
    There is an inherent RNG factor when playing this setup because it relies on Devoured Loop crit fishing to get as much Havoc Form uptime as possible, ideally chaining them back-to-back and only stopping to recast Nebula's mod between activations. Watching the timer on your Havoc Form is very important, since having it deactivate at a bad time can and will get you killed given its comically long cast and uncast(?) time.
    === Amulet ===
    Nebula's mod proccing Corroded was a great QoL improvement for this build, cutting out the need to shoot your guns entirely if you get lucky enough since Nano-Swarm will activate Nightweaver's Grudge on its own for the bonus crit and haste. Abrasive Whetstone is still the superior DPS option as always, but it requires much more frequent use of guns (or better yet, a pipe bomb) since Twisting Wounds only bleeds for 20s even with Affliction.
    Between the annoyingly long cast time on Havoc Form and having to manage that timer already, I just prefer the ease of use that comes with Nightweaver's Grudge, making this one of the few setups where the item has any merit over Abrasive Whetstone. In most other cases, the amulets are so similar in activation conditions and benefits that it's hard to make an argument for Nightweaver's Grudge when Abrasive Whetstone simply provides more damage.
    === Rings, Relic, and Fragments ===
    For the rest of the gear, burden of the Gambler is huge on this build because Havoc Form cannot weakspot anyway, and we need every ounce of skill crit we can get. Akari War Band is the best-in-slot crit item for rings assuming it's always active, which it is; +15% universal crit chance AND damage from a ring is almost amulet-levels of power.
    Where it gets a little weird is with Kinetic Cycle Stone and the casting speed relic fragment. Casting speed actually increases the "fire rate" of Havoc Form, greatly boosting our DPS, but more importantly, this allows us to hit even faster for better Devoured Loop crit fishing. For the rest of the fragments, elemental damage is superior to skill damage since we also use Nebula, and the skill duration fragment can be swapped for mod duration, ranged crit damage (see guns and mods), or really anything you want to taste.
    For relics, use whatever you want. I have Salvaged Heart in case I feel like refilling turret ammo.
    === Traits ===
    I don't know why I have Amplitude here; take Vigor and use enough armor to avoid getting oneshot by weaker boss attacks (you already get Fortify from Engineer). Havoc form can blink around regardless of your weight, but I'd just stick with max Vigor and enough armor to survive getting oneshot at most, since Devoured Loop lowers your DR and you can't fit any defensive items so you'll never be tanky enough to take more than 1 hit without dying. Use Meat Shake and throw any spare points into Barkskin to counteract most of Devoured Loop's downside.
    Footwork is MANDATORY since you are considered permanently ADS while in Havoc Form, allowing us to get crazy movement speed and making it feel way better to use.
    A fully min-maxed setup also might consider not running any points in Expertise, since the turret provides very little value overall (we just care about +50% skill damage and +10% skill crit from Engineer), and we're relying on Devoured Loop to instantly reset Havoc Form's cooldown.
    === Mods and Guns ===
    Nebula is the most important choice here, since it continues hitting during Havoc Form and can crit for Devoured Loop procs, and Feedback ensures that the mod will be up every time Havoc Form ends.
    The Bonesaw is the best choice for the long gun slot because you will never go through the full mag in one go and will have Hotshot to reload anytime you need to use it.
    The choice of Hotshot over Corrosive Rounds is also worth mentioning, since Corrosive Rounds seems like the obvious pick for a weapon we only use for crit-fishing when necessary. However, Engineer's recent buffs means we're already at 95% ranged crit chance when Momentum is fully stacked, and Archon's +50% mod damage and +10% mod crit apply to elemental bullets, placing us over 100% crit when active (this is why I mentioned ranged crit DAMAGE as a relic fragment option earlier) and making the higher raw damage of Hotshot the stronger choice.

    How do you ensure Akari Warband uptime if there are no adds to kill?

      Akari War Band doesn't need kills to activate, only a perfect dodge, and it also has a ridiculous 15s duration. Unless you are playing an unkillable zombie tank build where you don't even try to dodge at all, it will be permanently active in any boss fight.
      Even against this boss, who has some of the longest delays between attacks when he gets stunned after breaking the hammer, my buff barely ever falls off and is always immediately back up when he starts attacking again. This effectively permanent uptime combined with how substantially it buffs your crit stats is why I say it's the best crit ring in the game, and in my opinion, it isn't even close.

      I'm using Chilled Steam here but it's really up to you. If you aren't trying to do fights no-hit, I'd go for Meat Shake since it negates 80% of Devoured Loop's downside. Check the Remnant 2 Toolkit link at the top of the description for a more optimized setup.
