- In today's video, I'm going to be attempting to guess the famous places without being able to see them - they will be behind me. Big thanks to @Lennli for creating the maps!

I like how he used the spelling of meters and not the fact it wouldn't be in meters in the usa 🤣
easy to forget how special the us is 🤣
My exact reaction was that the American spelling of 2 metres is 6 feet.
As an American I don’t care. Our country is stupid lol, why did we have to create a weird measure system
@@jaydenleckpa8381 weird flex but ok....
@@jaydenleckpa8381if it’s stupid, you can always leave, ya know ✌️
14:32 lol I had to laugh at "Chicken itza". I believe it's pronounced "cheech-en eetza" for future reference 👍
chicken itza is crazy, wondering if this or the previous time when he said 'nijer' at niger is wilder :D
@@mxrt0 That's how you pronounce Niger...
Is it just me, or is Chicken Itza a great name for a Mexican Restaurant?
@mxrt0 the way he pronounced niger (nee-zher) is actually the correct pronunciation
It's a chicken!
5:06 that bridge's history is pretty interesting, i will tell you
it was first built in the 1960's projected by the same architect that made the bridge in san francisco (you can clearly see the resemblence) and name "salazar bridge" (salazar refers to António de Oliveira de Salazar, which at the time was the portuguese dictator).
At the 25th of april, (exactly 50 years ago, in 1974) there was the "carnation revolution" that took over the dictatorship (the dictator had died 4 years prior and replaced with another dictator), which is a very important date for our nation, hence the name of the bridge :)
Coisa linda!
“He’s right behind me, isn’t he?”
Wuttt duh heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel oh my goddd!
"To make up for the canada guess" is insane. Bro was 3 points away from 5k
18:15 Mount olympus, in greek mythology, is where zeus' throne was situated, and where the most important greek gods lived. So yeah, it is pretty famous
some bot stole you’re comment and got 60 likes 😭
@@zi8gzag ikr ☠️
@@zi8gzag The worst part is they don’t even feel any dopamine from that 60 likes, what a waste 😢
Also, fun fact I learned about Mt Olympus is that there’s been a few Greek chads out there that climbed it with the intention of fighting Zeus 😂
I have actually been to that exact NZ Curry House place you were scanning for in the KL round. I am from New Zealand so I tried to ask the owner what NZ stood for, I couldn't really understand what he was saying but it wasn't New Zealand haha
5:02 so the bridge is named 25th of april because Portugal lived on a fascist dictatorship for 48 years, and on 25th of april 1974 happened a coup, where the portuguese troops made a revolution to end that fascist dictatorship. Its a cool story, my grandma still says it was one of her happiest moments in her life
Love ur videos, and GL for the world cup
well we got the same comment :) but dont worry this is an interesting one
Haha what a coincidence, didnt even notice
Was that the Salazar dictatorship?
@@JramLisztfanyes
For those who don't know. Yes, Portugal became a part of Spain under the Iberian Union from 1580-1640
🐓+itza 😂😂
10:38 As a German, that scared me for a second😭
I swear to god Zi8gzag is the only person who can recognize a random road in Australia based on grass but doesn't know what Petronas towers are
Yeah I’d expect Americans and Canadians to be unaware of Petronas but not someone who’s only like a seven hour flight from there
I actually walked down that street in the first Toronto location yesterday lol. When he turns around to see the CN tower 3:29, I can see my apartment buiilding
"I don't really know if it's that famous" haha oh Oscar.. Mount Olympus is the home of Greek Mythology, the legendary home of the Greek gods and Zeus. In terms of reality, it's also the tallest mountain in Greece. In terms of fame, it's definitely up there 😂
I don't like how Oscar turns around and reveals the place before confirming the guess in these videos. Also, Berlin has red double decker buses.
My new favorite series! Please keep em coming
Another great Zi8gzag Video can't wait to watch it
19:40 I recognized the name from the linkin park album, that means I definitely don’t know my famous places either☠️
Great video! You should do more of these from time to time.
Nice Video Dude👍🏻
Amazing as always keep it up 🔥🔥
Bro said chicken itza 🐓
chicken itza 😂
I’ve been to Chichen Itza, it is remarkable. Tons of shitty tourist shit but the actual structures are very cool.
I SEE ZIGZAG, I CLICK
23:15 Bro is yapping as if we didn't see that Toronto round 20 minutes earlier.
talk normal
@@yugimotobutjacked3231 "Normal" is an adjective. You're looking for the adverb, "Normally". You also seem to have lost the shift key.
@@JohnAndJohner nah what is bro yapping about
Great idea this. You’re right, London has some great buildings!!
love your videos!
btw 12:51 those double red lines are very common in London
Great video idea. Probably good video too but I haven’t watched it yet!
18:15 you ain't need to hit America with that brutal stray 😂
Loved the video
great video🎉🎉
Nice video!
The Eifel Tower was pretty easy.
the way oscar said "Chicken Itsa"... crying rn. (pronounced Cheechin Eatza)
its crazy that i just watched the other one from a couple months ago and this just comes out
Nice video
I literally went to Greece in the spring and we went to meteora. The monasteries was so cool to see. It was really crazy to see a place where I've actually been in one of your videos
Kalabaka is a beautiful city too
I recognised the place becouse when I was at my cousins in North Macedonia, they had one of those magnets on the fridge that had meteora on it. I really wanna see it one day and other cool orthodox monasteries in unbelievable places
I love how Oscar says "chicken" Itza =)
i was just looking for a video to watch while playing cookie run! thanks oscar
Unrelated to the video but there has been a Google Car spotted in Costa Rica, adding to the many new countries getting street view. It is the same type of car as the ones in Panama, Qatar, and Rwanda so there will be car meta, but it will still be exciting.
Good guess on the Pisa round, I've been to the exact spot and didn't recognize it 🤦♀️
I recognized it from a very similar round that Geowizard did a few weeks back.
Bro I looked at that bridge in the 2nd one and immediately thought it was the Golden Gate Bridge
You inspired me to start playing GeoGuessr I hope I can be as good as you one day
Hey zigzag ! We actually got coverage in India where it wasn't available before ex my Village (Malan) which is near Palanpur (North Gujarat) so I am kinda happy but it's the trash cam again 😞
Chicken Itza is killing me :)))
oh the time Zigzag discovers Meteora
i would 'play along' but i don't feel like embarrassing myself in front of myself today so i'd rather not 😃
Fun video!
I think if Turning Torso would have been there, then u would have strugled lol
0:18 why did i think it was lahore 💀💀💀
too geopilled
So many pakistanis and afgans there that you can smell it thru your screen🤣
The Guatemalan tower I'm pretty sure caused Cinnamonique to guess Eiffel bc of his chat in 0.1secs on stream (from the Salvador video)...
this is exactly why i picked it, indeed
@@Lennli based
I laughed so hard at how little he knows about Geography for someone good at Geoguessr
Wow great score
I did fairly well I thought. Spoilers follow.
Easy I got all of them and a score of 24,999.
I missed the 5k by a few metres for the CN Tower (the map did not show a building on the Northern side of the road so I discounted it).
Lisbon and London I knew the 5k instantly as I've been to both, and I also recognised Pisa after a few seconds.
I recognised Malaysia; and since the Twin Tower is really the only famous landmark I know in the country so I zoomed in right to the 5k.
Hard was much harder, but I got the three out of five.
R1 I thought Northern Colombia first but couldn't think of a landmark. I was about to give up when I saw that the carpets being sold and visible in the screen had the Chichen Itza Pyramid on them. Now finding Chichen Itza on the other hand... Took me almost 10 minutes but I got there in the end.
In Greece (which I was not even sure of) I thought the Acropolis was going to be the landmark. It didn't really look like Athens but there was a parc in the right direction so I guessed there. Probably the footpaths were just footpaths and not a road though... Didn't really know about the monastery either.
Now I knew that we might have some less famous landmarks. Next one gave me Guatemala City vibes immediately and I also saw the "Alto". I don't know any landmarks there so I checked the two that showed up first when zooming in and the second was correct (the "Centro de Asistencia Social" POI is quite visible). But how come I have never heard of that tower or seen it when playing GG?
R4 I had no clue. I went Brasilia and thought I found a matching road South East of the National Congress, but alas, nope... US makes sense though.
R5 Figured out Senegal eventually, and then also gathered it must be Dakar. Didn't know the monument but found it after some scanning.
Bro i visited Meteora last year and its just stupid beautiful
you should do geoguessr, but you have to roll a random number between 0 and 25000 every round and then have to try and get that exact score.
Mount Olympus is definitely famous as it is where the ancient greek pantheon of gods was said to reside, the nearby settlement of Olympia was the site of the ancient Olympic Games
Olympia is actually not near Mount Olympos, the mountain is in Thessaly in central Greece, while Olympia is situated in Elis in the northwestern Peloponnese :)
8:55 I got jumpscared so hard 😭
shoutout chicken itza
the discord link in the description doesn't work.. can u update it or resend it 😭🙏🙏
should be fine now
it still says the link is expired :(
Trivia thing: The leaning tower isn't going to fall, it's structurally very strong
With the risk of sounding like the ultimate nerd, the Big Ben is not the large building (that's the Palace of Westminster) nor the tower (which is called Elizabeth tower), but only one of five bells within the tower :P
Bro said Chicken Pizza 🐔 😅
Just got home from Guatemala. Octagonal poles everywhere there ♨
chicken pizza
Yeah I hadn’t heard of that Portuguese bridge either.
"whoops, didn't mean to zoom there" :')
my buddy lives on Adelaide street in Toronto
8:57 wtf
Hey man, just a tip. The videos are awesome and the title is great, but I've always thought that your face on the thumbnails looks very airbrushed. If that's the vibe you're going for, then great. But UA-cam really rewards like a more normal looking edit version of a face. I feel like you should at least try having more of a 'natural' looking thumbnail for a couple videos, worst case you switch back to this style.
How did I only just find out ur from Adelaide cause that’s where I’m from as well and I’m going to talem bend on Saturday and I’m sure you know where that is
What is your best 5k guess? Like how many meters where you away from the right place, my best was 4 meters, it was right before the Eiffel Tower (in famous places 😂!) Your my legend zi8gzag or oscar ❤. Love from Bavaria, Germany ❤❤
As someone who lives close to St. Louis, I have seen the Gateway Arch several times before, and that is an incredibly hard round to get unless you've actually been to that overlook before, or seen it before. The Arch didn't even cross my mind tbh.
SAME I was at the arch just a couple weekends ago but would never have recognized it from the Illinois side unless it was on one of the highways
For the first location, in addition to mentioning meters, the "20s handwashing mandatory before entering site" sign doesn't look American to me. I don't think an American sign like that would say "20s" that way, it'd phrase it differently. Here in the US you would most likely see the word seconds spelled out and not reduced to a single letter, I think...
9:25 the twin towers 😭
I feel cool to be early to a video😎😎😎
Chicken Itza 🐔
The DC round is … odd.
Chicken 🐔 Itza
chicken itza
24:09 weird shape, but with a bell at the end. a bellend, i see.
Hey you Zigger I’m the real zigzag and you know it
almost got 25k, my friends trolled me, unlucky
“Saint Louie” 😂😂
That's just the correct way to pronounce it.
Typical American, feel good about being wrong.
@@yugimotobutjacked3231 it’s America people will pronounce it the American way. Go to St. Louis and 10/10 people will pronounce the “s”.
@@adrift8871 ZigZag isn't american.
@@yugimotobutjacked3231 Yeah so he doesn’t know how to pronounce it, but that doesn’t change the fact that the proper pronunciation for St. Louis, Missouri is with the “s”.
@@adrift8871 Nope. He isn't American. Your allowed to say it wrong, don't say he's saying wrong. When he's saying it correct
It'z a Chicken😊🐔
Smh no Mosque of Touba
🐓Itza
Metres in the US would be spelled F-E-E-T
why he bobbing
5:07 Portugal got its independence from Galicia, in 1139.
Speaking of, when does Galicia lose it's independence from Portugal? I refuse to accept that Portugal doesn't go all the way up and Spain has a west coast.
@@JohnAndJohner you’re onto something
Another of these videos, another session of getting triggered by Oscar's use of compass 💀
Brother, arent you living in Australia? Just that in the last couple of videos you are wearing a hoodie and a jacket over it tho. Is your ac stuck or something? :D

Wait they spell meters different in the US?
"meters" in the US
