Awesome concept!! If you play this again, I think wrapping around east-west works because on the globe they connect, but not wrapping north to south because that's not how they touch. Also I think making so winning on a square that your opponent has only knocks off their piece but doesn't add yours. This would make blocks actually hard to remove instead of an instant flip into victory

Ended with one having 15 one having 16 and both having 15 before the final location, we'll played! And your improvement has been great to watch, keeping up with the likes of RC
P.S. if you play this again I think an interesting addition would be if neither get a square and it's been taken, that square becomes blank again. Could encourage defending more and add spice to the safety of squares

The concept is great, I would love to see more of it in the future. As for the japan round at 25:24 : A single yellow ring on a metal-colored sign post is unique to Hyogo Prefecture in Japan. You can see it in Ibaraki as well, but it´s very rare and more common to see 2 or 3 there instead of just one.

Great video! To spice it up, you could either make squares permanently taken or make them neutral when conquered, so swapping sides takes 2 wins on it. Otherwise great mode :)

Awesome concept! Next time make it so that every guess you make (correct or incorrect) you place a counter down. BUT it's on duels, so you can't be too far away to lose too much health. First to connect 3 or 4 wins!

On a regular map, you'd get the South Sandwich Islands like 0-1 times out of a thousand, and Central Europe like what 200 times. In this video you get the South Sandwich Islands like seven times and Central Europe zero times. Fun stuff. :)

This is kind of off-topic, but our avatars in geoguessr are literally almost the exact same!
Can you do part 2 I enjoyed it.
Imagine losing the Australia round.
If you do make them wrap around, you cant do it top-to-bottom like you showed, because the north pole doesn't "wrap around" to the south pole.
H5 should actually connect with A5
It's more interesting that way and it makes sense because the world is round...

_Edit_: later on you talked about it with a different square, but:
17:08 If you count it as a round earth where you connect the left & right sides of the grid you just got another winning square at A4 with that guess
the squares should be smaller and you should only get a point if you get the right square

Something about being able to claim someone else's square that easily feels problematic to me. Since they earned it, if you win a round on their square it should take off their circle, allowing for a chance to steal with a 2nd guess. This would make it more fair IMO.

Showing the line at 19:04 possibly connecting D1, D2, D5 and D6 was kind of illogical - north and south of the map don't connect. East and west do, however, so G5 H5 A5 B5 should be a line.
