I have to be honest. I didn’t buy this for a review. I did a review because I liked it. If you see any unprofessional actions or reaction it is because, that was the moment I was testing for the first time.
I was trying to hold my phone and at the same time I was trying to control the camera. Basically my cell phone was blocking my view. That is why I was having a hard time to use ptz properly. The thing is that expensive cameras cannot even record a car or something that is moving. Try it if you like it 👍

Installed it myself without any issues. The wifi signal is great even ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxE_D_sddGAdiVUKp7PkkmyxO7bRtgqmk5 when the router is located far away. I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.

Amazon also has socket extenders if you want more range or your light to be longer or a different length for a good price. Just fyi.
If there is glass around the light bulb, it intervenes the night vision. You need an extender for that or remove the glass around the lightbulb area
How do you set the timer to turn the light off and on? I have this unit and I'm confused about the dial setting in the app
Light can be triggered if it sees something or you can completely turn on or off. There is no timer. Sorry if I am mistaken.
What is a good way to protect it from rain ? I have exact same one ,works great but it's not water proof. I don't have a cover for it.

I was thinking about taking out the glasses because at night it blocks night vision because they are using infrared light. It reflects the light and you cannot see anything.
@@TechGeniusHacks it’s my first night with mine installed. I turned off starlight mode and also set night mode to color and that did the trick for me. I have similar lamp shade to yours although I do like yours more!!!
Is this waterproof cause I want to put mine outside my home similar to how you did but if the glass you put around blocks the night vision the camera will be destroyed if you take the protective glass out.
It says weatherproof. If there is glass around it, it doesn’t see at night
Hello there: I' want to get the camera installed without paying subscription since the camera was a gift for someone in need and I don't want the commitment. Amazon customers tell me it can be dine same as La view customer service but I couldn't do it since the app doesn't allowed me to skip the subscription step. what can I do? Thank you
This is working with SD card. You are not obligated to use cloud.

Take out the sd card and insert it into your computer and play it but it is too hard and time consuming

I bought some other cameras more expensive than this. I really don’t like them. This one is very accurate. It works very well. Where do you want to use?

@@issaconspiracy as you see in the video, when I turn the camera, the video quality is good. It is not lagging. It is very responsive. I thought this one was good amzn.to/3JanpKC it is terrible. There is no motion tracking on this. If you want to see the video live, it takes 1 min to load. I returned it.
Does it light up as a light bulb as well?
No it doesn’t. It has light but it is not as powerful as regular light
I have to get a security camera to provide evidence of harassment from the people that moved next door to me. I wanted to get this for the outside porch light. Since this device does not have a bright light display, how well does it work with night vision? And just to be clear, all I have to do is screw it into the outdoor porch socket, correct?
If there is nothing in front of it like glass, the night vision is good. Yes you are right just put it there and do the set up with wifi and it is ready to go.
Can I get live feed in Google home app?
I haven’t tried it yet but you can get the live feed

Loved your initial reaction when you got the camera up and running: "Wow, that's awesome!" I was pretty much sold right there, but I just need to know if the camera can be inserted into a socket at the BASE of a fixture. In other words, I need it to stand up instead of hanging down. (I couldn't find the answer on the Amazon page.)

@@TechGeniusHacks My iPhone doesn’t have an sd card slot. My son’s does but he’s still trying to figure out how to find his recordings on it. I just have 50GB of iCloud. Tech support chat is still Beta and is never working so far.
@@RitaAnne2362 hey rita. Camera has an sd card input. You need to put it there. There is an app on your phone. Install it and you can watch it on your phone. The recorded video is coming from the camera sd card.

Yes. It is worth it. It is already so cheap.

As for the distance, it is 30-50 meter in the daytime and 10-15 meter at night under IR cut mode.

They are total scamers, though. They messaged me asking me to message them on their app to leave a review for a free SD card. Once I did it, they said they couldn't "provide" me a free SD card any longer. I am tempted to send everything back

Not sure why, but real time video is too laggy and buffering with mobile network.
Mine was quick. It is probably due to your internet connection or frequency.

@@TechGeniusHacks yes. I already have some other product (a color changing light bulb) already connected to the 2.4Ghz connection with no problem. So it weird. I think I got screwed over
