I have learned more about history by listening to your music then looking up what your singing about than I did in 14 years of school. Keep up the good work!
No Passaran! I love seeing recognition of the Spanish Civil War, and I’d love to see a rendition of ‘The Valley of Jarama’ by Woodie Guthrie if you can find the time.
I find the comments that feel the need to establish the writer's nationality generally quite corny but if there was ever a time to say "thank you and greetings from Spain" it is no doubt this one. My utmost respect to the folks who came to fight and die in a war that was not their own because they knew it was the right thing to do, too. I know I would not be capable of doing the same. Let us remember them indeed. Maybe I should take a walk to the memorial in my town's cemetery today. Lastly, remember: No matter where you are or where you come from, the fight against fascism never ended, and it doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon.

Goodness, I'm glad you were recommended to me, your voice is wonderful and uplifting! Kudos to you, and never stop singing! I don't know how many songs you've got on backlog, but I'll always be a big proponent of your Stan Rogers covers! My vote would be White Squall!
Hey bud your favorite fan here💚💚💚 I love this and you. This has quickly risen to the top of my all time favorites list(: I am so grateful for you and your work; this song in particular has been helping me so much through some really tough times. As I say, you are there for me in ways that no one can be… your voice is a comfort and your music a rare refuge for me. Here, I don’t have to worry about my life or my pain, and I go on another journey with you through another time for just a moment. What a gift to be here with you! I admire you… and I know you would be one of these brave heroes, as you aren’t afraid to do right in a world of wrong… I thank you for that. Your humanity and heart are so refreshing. You are a guiding light, and a much needed one on each dark day that comes to stay. You are doing so much more for me than you will ever know. Thank you💚💚💚
Hey folks, I played this during my first root canal (only got to finish half so far til next week) this afternoon, and maybe next week for my second half or restoration surgery… adelanté!!!
@PintOfFanta It is a song about an Irishmen taking his gun and emigrating to America after things take a turn for the worse in Ireland and he ends up in the civil war
Another great song cover Seth, been loving all of them since you began, was wondering if you could do a cover of fenians of the rock as my great grandfather was a part oof the band of fenians depicted in the song, would mean so much to me and especially my dad. Éire go brách agus Tiocfaidh ár lá mo chara, sing on
Beautiful cover of a beautiful song. Greetings from the antifascist Spain. Truth and love against the force of evil, brotherhood against the fascist clan.
Well, Earnest Miller Hemingway wrote the text 'The Fifth Brigade' Viva La Quince Brigada (Long Live the 15th Brigade) Song by Pete Seeger I guess there is a difference between fifth and fifth Eent?
I guess fascism is always with us we must remember all those who faught before us and make them proud as the fascists have now gone global against the ordinary people we all fight a many front war. Between Palestine, Yemen and Argentina. From Germany, Netherlands and Britain.
Don't like the Franco love I still see around, but a Communist victory would have been an unprecedented disaster for Spain. Not that that matters. This was a fun little song very well done.
His dictatorship's use of forced labour, concentration camps and executions led to between 30,000 and 50,000 deaths. Combined with wartime killings, this brings the death toll of the White Terror to between 100,000 and 200,000. I think you’re a bit naive.
Brilliant version, my Irish great grandad met my great grandmother whilst he was fighting in the Spanish civil war🍀
Honour to you 🫡✊️✊️✊️

I saw you perform this in St. Louis earlier this summer and it's stuck with me ever since. So glad to get to hear you sing it again!
Preciosa voz y canción
Viva la quinta brigada

Love it. International brigades are the heroes of Spain from all around the world! No Pasaran!
No they aren’t
They weren't heroes, the true heroes were the ones that fought for God under general O'Duffy

It’s highly ironic that the Soviets straight murdered all the international brigade members they got their hands on after the war.
