Fantastic video guys. You’re doing a great job raising the kids.
Thanks so much
I get that it's part of the fun to go down these trails but for anyone else who wants to see these caves there's a much more accessible parking lot right off 491
That is true!
Keep them videos
coming. Always glad to watch!
Looks like a blast!

also what set up do you have on your pilot? suspension tires everything?
here is my build thread with build details www.overlandbound.com/forums/threads/2007-honda-pilot-off-road-build.20884/
Where’d you get your skid plates from? Good to see you’re back btw.
awesome2268 I built my skid plate. Check out my build thread for the details. www.overlandbound.com/forums/threads/2007-honda-pilot-off-road-build.20884/
@@GotterAdventure really good info. Def a must to have skid plates..
HondaPilotOverland alright, thanks man. That thread is amazing. I’m planning in getting the lift kit from your advice.
Hey man ? Is this the only pilot you have, or down you have the second gen? i have a1st gen 05 but she's pretty much on her way out 512k Original everything. But my question is, if you do have a second gen, how dose it ride off road compared to the 1st gens. I've herd so many bad things about the ride compared to the 1st gen. Hit me up. Let me know please.
I only have a 1st gen
When you lifted the pilot, were you able to use the stock sway bar links or did you have to find longer ones? I recently bought a lift kit for my 2004 from ebay and the pictures showed longer sway bar links but they weren't included when I got it.
I used my stock sway bar links and did not notice any issues
Thanks so much Aaron! Really loving the channel. Keep them coming and I'll keep watching!
6:46 here should be scare music
LOL
Looking at buying an 11 Honda Pilot with 100k miles. You think it’s still got enough life in it for another 100?
Easily
I bought my 07 with 180k and am sitting at 248k now. 2011 Pilots have a Variable Cylinder Management system that I have heard can cause cylinder wear. I would personally buy the 11 and by the vcm muzzler to disable that system. Just my 2 cents
Is Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero any popular in US? Multi-link suspension, but more serious transmission...
@@vatne4eg We have Monteros here in the US. They look like great off road vehicles.
@@GotterAdventure speaking about cylinder wear: is your pilot has this issue as well? Are there any copper-based additive to engine's oil in US? There is an opinion, that cylinder wearing is happening due to hydrogen, which is part of engine oil and which is able to join metal's crystal cells during heating, but staying in this cells during cooling of cylinder's metal (which is often happen with VCM). This results in incorrect form of the surface after colling, which will be broken when meet the answering part of system (piston/ring) more easily. Copper is chemically more active, than hydrogen, so it is able to join metal cells instead of hydrogen. Anyway, I am not an expert or native speaker and if you are interesting, you can find more info in english I guess.
